First of all, the vibes are fantastic. The waiting room is so cute, with fun artwork and fun music. I've been coming to Ted D Bare for about two years now and I refuse to go to any other place. All of the waxers here are amazing and professional! Pai is my waxer and I'm usually in and out within 10-15 minutes. They have a no tipping policy which is definitely rare but you can tell they genuinely care about their clients and giving them a great service. I would also recommend to try their ingrown hair spray. I've tried different products from different places and their Agent 88 spray has helped me the best with my ingrown hairs. First, I only got it for the laughs because I am ridiculously susceptible to clever marketing. Second, I did put it on and it's super effective for prepping for waxing the most delicate areas (le coochie). Third, ask your freakin esthie bestie how to use it because the first time I did it I yolo'd and messed up. It can be a little messy upon first application, but so is life, so you'll get over it. Combine it with weekly use of the exfoliator and ingrown serum and your brazillian will feel like a relaxed therapy session as you literally feel nothing while you vent your heart out to Rika. I was referred here by my bestie who sees a specific waxer, so I booked through that waxer's direct link and paid the deposit. The place was easy to find, parking was fine, and the inside is really cute!! My appointment was at 5pm, I was taken back about 15 minutes late, but they did give me a $5 discount for that. What threw me off was being taken back by someone other than the waxer I booked with, and there was no explanation. Since it was my first wax ever and I was already nervous, I just went with it. This place has great reviews and I've heard all the girls are great! In the room, I told her how nervous I was (my hands were literally shaking). I mentioned more than once that it was my first wax EVER, but it didn't seem to register at first. A couple mins into our small talk, before I even got on the table, she finally went, "Ohhh, like your first wax EVER?" Even then, nothing was explained about the process, breathing, or what to expect. She was friendly though and kept conversation going, which helped! I went 4-5 weeks without shaving, so she explained the different growth cycles and that it wouldn't be perfectly bald. I understood that, but when I got home, there were more leftover hairs than I expected with how long my hairs were. Still, I'm fine continuing and seeing how the process improves as my hair thins out. I also asked about numbing cream for future appointments while I was mid wax and she just said no but that they sell it. No additional info. What really confused me was afterward when I went back on the website to book my follow-up and saw they offer a $45 first-timer service. Even though I clearly expressed this was my first wax ever, that wasn't mentioned to me, so I paid full price (minus the late discount). I also later noticed a note on the site saying that even if you book through a waxer's link, you still need to forward your confirmation email with the subject "(name) preferred," or the system can move appointments. I missed that part when I initially booked, but even now, it's not clear where we're supposed to forward it? Overall, I didn't have a bad experience! I just had higher expectations, especially as a first-timer. Communication definitely could've been better. I'll try again, but I'll make sure to follow the extra steps so I can actually book with the waxer I was referred to. On the positive side, I'm proud I got through my first wax ever, and she did recommend a KP product I bought! read more

So I used to get consistent Brazilians (intimate on website) waxing here and enjoyed my service every time. I am ALWAYS in and out in 10 minutes which is ... a godsend. If I'm going to be in excruciating pain, let it be as short as possible! Today though...
