Our front porch on our 1939 home had a fascia of brick that was loose and falling off. The…read moreflagstone on top had begun to crack apart without enough support under it. After I removed it, I found that most of the block support behind that was also loose or missing. I put in a call to several contractors for quotes. Brickworks was the first to respond and came up with an innovative repair plan. All others immediately said the whole porch would need replaced at almost 2x Brickworks quote. Decided to take a chance and was quite pleased. They repaired the structure, installed new fascia brick and were able to salvage some flagstone pieces to repair the surface of the porch. Everything was coated with waterproofing. However, when they were done they did an amazing cleanup and even repaired and seeded a few sq ft of damaged grass and reinstalled mulch around the porch. You would never have known that they were there except for the fact that the porch looked amazing. This work was done last year. It weathered great during the winter. I've always meant to post a review but never got around to it. I'd get a guilty feeling every time I'd see their trailer. Today I couldn't take it any more and just had to post. Would recommend them without reservation!

Ive been trying to get a call back for two months and no matter how many times I call it's the same thing, I'll have someone get back to you, it never happens and frustration is now at a high. 75% of my chimney is 70 years old and looks great but the work they did is beginning to show major signs of wear and tear. Now I understand why they only offer a five-year warranty!! Customer service is horrible and craftsmanship has a lot to be desired. My fault I guess for thinking I hired a reputable company.

The building was an unassuming brick number, with only hints of what they do on the outside, but inside, they truly have a lovely set up that showcased their offerings. We ended up getting quotes from several vendors, but ultimately decided to move forward with PMS because of all of the extra things they offered and the variety of their selection. From start to finish, my experience with PMS was professional yet quick. The day the crew came to our house, I was surprise to see that Parker was there to make sure the office and the work crew were on the same page. I was frankly amazed how quick they were able to clear our the posts from the old deck (we did the demo ourselves), move the sprinklers system (with very little damage), and graded the ground. Also, I cannot say enough about the crew they sent. I believe the foreman was Noe and over the 3 days they were at our house, they work from dawn to dusk, and were fast, yet meticulous, as they laid the pavers, while also cleaning up after themselves. Based on my experience, I kind of wish I had just used them for the entire backyard. If you can afford PMS, I highly recommend this company. One of few times where I had a contractor make big promises and actually deliver.

Joe Safie is the owner of WATERBGONE and he installed a french drain around the perimeter of my basement, a sump pump and a back flow protector in 2014 -- after a once-in-a-lifetime "hundred year flood" that my city's sewer system was ill-prepared for. i decided that i would never again experience the upheaval this event caused me. let it be said that joe came out when other contractors would not during this time of high demand (due to massive flooding in my city and other surrounding areas!) and not even returning calls. joe gave me a fair price, scheduled the work immediately and knocked everything out in a day like a commando mission! it was amazing! late march/early april this year, i was on vacation. during my absence, some heavy, flooding rains came. when i returned home, i was shocked to find evidence of a small amount of water having left my sump pump, leaving a trail of sandy residue. i called joe, hoping he'd tell me what the problem might be and to direct me on how to resolve it. he did better than that! he personally came to inspect the pump. he swiftly identified the problem and said he would send somebody over in a few days to fix it. and it was! How many business owners would be compelled to look at work done ELEVEN YEARS AGO????? i can't think of any except Joe Safie from WATERBGONE. We had an aggregate concrete patio poured in August. John and his team were incredible. We booked…read morewith them in early spring, and he said he couldn't get to us until the 3rd week of July. He was right on with his estimate and showed up and got to work. We worked out with him ahead of time the design, the steps, the color, height, etc. If he had questions while working on it, we always discussed next steps to make sure there were no surprises. The biggest thing is John is on the job when work is being done and he doesn't sub it out to others. He and his team worked their butts off whenever they were on site. There were a few days in between, since forms need to be made, concrete has to cure, aggregate needed exposing and other activities. So the whole process took about 3 weeks, but we were never concerned that he wouldn't be back to do the next step. He kept us informed every step of the way. Plus - he just seems like an all around great guy, very personable and good workers on the job with him. Our patio is gorgeous, everyone loves it and so do we. We would hire him for any project if we needed work done again.

I didn't like how…read morethey left my home with debris everywhere, so i complained about it and they came out and cleaned up. However, turns out they didn't fill the entire wall with insulation and they came out and drilled big holes in my walls on the inside and filled up the rest. However, they informed me it would be my responsibility to fill in the holes. I complained to the job boss and he sent a guy over to take care of it. However, he made a comment about how much I complained about it but I didn't. How rude. I would no way recommend this company. And, of course, now I had 3 + rooms that I had to re-paint. No happy.
