Joe Safie is the owner of WATERBGONE and he installed a french drain around the perimeter of my basement, a sump pump and a back flow protector in 2014 -- after a once-in-a-lifetime "hundred year flood" that my city's sewer system was ill-prepared for. i decided that i would never again experience the upheaval this event caused me. let it be said that joe came out when other contractors would not during this time of high demand (due to massive flooding in my city and other surrounding areas!) and not even returning calls. joe gave me a fair price, scheduled the work immediately and knocked everything out in a day like a commando mission! it was amazing! late march/early april this year, i was on vacation. during my absence, some heavy, flooding rains came. when i returned home, i was shocked to find evidence of a small amount of water having left my sump pump, leaving a trail of sandy residue. i called joe, hoping he'd tell me what the problem might be and to direct me on how to resolve it. he did better than that! he personally came to inspect the pump. he swiftly identified the problem and said he would send somebody over in a few days to fix it. and it was! How many business owners would be compelled to look at work done ELEVEN YEARS AGO????? i can't think of any except Joe Safie from WATERBGONE. I recently had them do work on my roof, porch and install a sump pump…read more They went out of their way to make sure I had the correct type of roof on a low pitch part of my roof. When Mike and Lee saw the condition of the roof boards after removing the shingles they switched to "peel and stick" roll roofing. This caused extra work and expense for them because other materials had already been delivered, but they wanted to make sure my roof was done the right way. The roof looks great! Steve, Dino and his crew did a great job on the porch and the sump pump. The porch looks so much better now that it is level and the cracks are filled in. The water does not all run towards the house and into the crawl space. I really appreciate the extra effort to get the sump pump deeper. The only access was a small opening inside a bedroom closet. I know how much more difficult it made the work because they had to dig in a small confined area and they were digging into wet clay. It is so much nicer and safer with the discharge pipe relocated to the other side of the house instead of running across in front the gate. Now I can simply go into the closet to start the pump. I used to have to go outside and bring a hose in through a window before pumping water out of the crawl space. Everyone was so friendly, polite and professional. This is a great company to deal with and the work was excellent!! I will definitely call them again and will recommend them to everyone I know.

They won't take responsibility even though fortress reps came out and said they installed product totally wrong. If anyone has insurance info on this company please reach out to me asap.
