Ted's Trackside Grill is a local favorite. It's just good honest food, from the specialty sandwiches to the deli-style sandwiches, to their subs. I have never had a bad meal and I eat here a lot, I live nearby so Ted's is a frequent stop for me. They have daily specials that change with the season. Always a good variety of soups and stews. The food from Ted's kitchen is better than grandmas. Portions are generous, huge selection of bottled drinks, Teds offers wine and beer and even craft cocktails using local breweries and distilleries. (Try anything made with Chadwicks whiskey - superb)! In the summer there is outside seating, warning Ted's literally is trackside, the train is right there and the tracks are active, so don't be surprised to see a cargo freight rumble by and shake your seat! Inside is clean, quaint little dining space decorated with train memorabilia. You order and pay at the counter, and they bring you the food when it's done. Food comes out hot, fast, and fresh every time. As a local, I recommend popping into Teds for a steak bomb or a burger. You won't be disappointed and you won't leave hungry. read more

2 years later and Ted's is even better! They've renovated by adding a new large dining area, and the menu items are now out of this world delicious! Super yum. Ted's is now our new fave lunch spot. Staff is friendly and service is great. read more

I had the best roast beef sandwich I ever had! The bulkie roll was super fresh and not TOO bulky. The meat-cheese-toppings ratio was perfect, not just a lump of roast beef in the middle. The staff were very friendly too. I only wish I lived closer! read more

Fish and chips were amazing! Huge piece of haddock and hand cut fries. I would definitely recommend stopping here. My husband got the Swiss mushroom burger and he loved it as well. read more

What an incredible lunch. I stopped in with some family on the way to further parts north never having had the pleasure of this fine establishment, not knowing I was in for one of the best lunches I've had in years. When we pulled up there was live music playing in the outdoor patio area.....a good sign, then we went inside to order and when I saw the menu on the walls beautifully written in chalk I had a feeling we were in for a great lunch. We ordered inside and shortly after the friendly staff brought our food to the outdoor patio area. I got the Reuben with a side of fries.....incredible.....the fries are hand cut to absolute perfection 12 out of 10! The sandwich was perfectly toasted with a generous portion of corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese....perfection...10 out of 10. First time I have been there this year. They have remodeled for the better, now with a full bar. Service on a Ruben to go was fast and friendly as usual. When I got home to eat I discovered they have replaced the sliced Swiss and sour kraut with a spread of both I think and I will report it was the best Ruben I have ever tried. Sorry no pictures. Ive been to Teds many times and keep coming back the owners are awesome and friendly the staff is great and the food well worth the price and any wait. my favorites are the mt Pisgah (add hot peppers), the club and any omelet Gabe makes. add tater kegs for fun. my kid loves the chicken tenders that they hand bread no precooked stuff and there's a full bar for those sunday brunches. read more

I just stopped by to have lunch here and I tried the bomb which is such an incredible steak and cheese with onions, mushrooms, and green peppers! I had the small which was the perfect size for me. It also came with a bag of chips. They did a wonderful job creating such a nice lunch spot here! Everything is fully remodeled. And it really is quite the spot! The food is great.
