After I filled out the paperwork since I was a new patient, I was quickly whisked into a room to be seen. Dr. Strachan listened to everything I had to say and did a very thorough check-up. His technology seems to be very up to date (getting x-rays with him was a breeze). He was not rough and I wasn't in any pain throughout my entire teeth cleaning. He was very professional and had given me tips on things to look out for (I naturally don't have wisdom teeth on my lower jaw and he told me the wisdom teeth, although not impacted, may start to come down over time). I felt like he took a genuine interest in my health and am happy to be his patient!

Finally, after humbly expressing Dr. Lyalin that I was a bit unhappy with my experience, His response was (points to his files) "I HAVE HUNDREDS OF OTHER HAPPY PATIENTS, SO IF ONE IS UNHAPPY, THAT DOES NOT MATTER" (He began to rant as I just looked at him and I won't mention the other things that were said to me) ..He proceeded to wave me out. Each and every time I walk into the office I was pleasantly greeted with cheerful smiles. The staff truly cares and gets to know you to the point where they're able to ask about how my family, school, work life etc. was. As for the tenure of my braces Dr. Scantlebury and her team were careful and explained the reason each new rubber-band placement or hardware that had to be added. She was patient with me during the times that I decided that I didn't "need" to wear my rubber-bands. Eventually I listened and cooperated and things moved along. Now my braces are off and everyone compliments me on my smile! Thank you Dr. Scantlebury!!! 10/10 would recommend! P.S. This is the very first time I have ever had to post a bad review. Do not let the numerous 5-star…read morereviews fool you. Dr. Emmanuel is an incompetent, idiotic orthodontist. I came to him with a minor issue after having had braces before and was told it would be fixed in 3-4 months. I was deceived by the good reviews. For starters, his cheap clear aligners which are not the original Invisalign brand are terrible and completely RUINED my teeth. Dr. Emmanuel openly admitted that the aligners made my teeth worse and complained about the company only AFTER the damage was done a year later. The simple fact that he continues to work with his company shows his disregard for patients. After putting me in braces to undo the damage he caused, my teeth got even worse. Every single time Dr. Emmanuel touched my teeth something went wrong. He moved perfectly straight teeth that did not need to be touched and ruined my bite, claiming it was fine to leave it like that. It is completely unacceptable to end orthodontic cases with an improper bite and Dr. Emmanuel continuously tried to gaslight me into believing my inability to chew was fine. No competent orthodontist would leave their patient with a dysfunctional bite. Spaces that did not exist before opened, and he couldn't care less about functionality and only horrible aesthetics. After expressing concerns that my teeth look worse, Dr. Emmanuel REFUSED to even look at my before pictures. I would have to constantly point out issues and concerns only for them to be brushed off. Patients should not have to tell their orthodontists what to do. I also now have irreversible gum damage and recession caused by his treatments which were once again brushed off and denied. Coming here was genuinely the biggest regret of my life. I walked out with worse teeth than I came here with. Please do not go here! I now need to pay more to another orthodontist to fix the damage that was done.

I have had a lifelong challenge with staying on top of my dental care -- thanks ADHD! -- so my teeth are in pretty bad shape. I have always worried about being judged or shamed for the condition of my teeth. Everyone at the office has treated me with compassion and the doctor himself is professional and kind while being direct about what needs to be done, and what to prioritize. I really appreciate that he takes his time to explain things, and answers my questions thoroughly. The office is incredibly efficient, and the front desk staff are welcoming and professional as well. I have been in for three appointments so far, and each time I was seen precisely on time. Dr, Agababayev works with such precision and care. I wish I caught the name of the hygenist who assited with my filling yesterday. The two of them worked together in perfect harmony, barely needing to speak a word to each other. I have a little bit of an odd fascination with medical treatments, so it was really cool to witness their synchronicity. All in all, a perfect experience at this clinic so far.
