Grungy and night the three good way. Nothing in particular just over all dirty and dingy. Even for a dive bar.

Stopped by at 1 am on my birthday this year. The bartender was great, he gave me & my friend a free beer each. We were pretty late getting there, but next time we'll show up before midnight to get a real feel for this spot. Roosevelt and 65th. We found this quaint Tavern just above 65th and Roosevelt. We didn't order any food but we brought a couple of beers. A couple of billard tables and several flat screen television with sports from the Hockey games to the Mariner game to take your mind off, how expensive a couple of beers can easily put a dent in the old wallet. read more

Teddy's is your quintessential dive bar - stiff drinks, old dudes on bar stools, and tv's for watching games. They get packed for Seahawks games, but you can also be one of four people there at times. They have darts, pool tables, and outdoor ping pong. It's def a fun place but not your typical destination for the evening. More of a stop by on your way out. I still always have a good time there. read more

I visited Teddy's Tavern on a Friday evening in March with a small group of friends. We were doing a low-key mini pub crawl to celebrate my friend's brand new PhD. Teddy's was quiet and accommodating. Other than our group, there appeared to be only a handful of regulars - my kind of bar! If I recall correctly, there's a pool table and Big Buck Hunter. My friends seemed to enjoy their pitcher. I really liked my Manhattan, although I felt like it was on the pricier side for a more casual bar. I hope to return again soon! read more

Fun place to hang out late at night. The atmosphere is chill, parking isn't bad late at night (compared to Capitol Hill lol), and they have a good selection of drinks that you can purchase in pitchers. I did not try any of the food, but for a first impression this seems like a pretty chill place to hang out. They're also open until 2 am, which is nice. I think we would've stayed longer were it not for the multiple announcements that they were closing shop for the night. read more

Very laid back no frills bar. Very nice outdoor patio with ping pong. Free nuts at the bar if you ask nicely.

I love ping pong and I love to drink. The whiskey sours are stiff, made with Makers and mixed with fresh squeezed juice. I was drinking them like Gatorade (I love that lemon lime) to keep me hydrated while I dropped newb after newb on the ping pong table. The place even has bench seating for your cheerleaders. This place is rad. The one problem was the jukebox didn't have hello pussycat in the mix... such a bummer. read more

Some friends and I were trying to find a place to find the Seahawks game (you'd think it would be easy in Seattle) and we're walking down the street when someone suggested teddys. And hands down was the best place we could have gone. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and got to watch the game. I would definitely suggest this place!! read more

3.5 stars really. Good little neighborhood pub. Great place to meet up with a buddy and shoot the bull. I haven't eaten here, so I can't speak to the food, but the beer selection is solid, the atmosphere is laid back, there's some nice outdoor seating in back. A part of me hates to give Teddy's such high ratings because I don't want it to be overrun! That being said, Teddy's is such a gem. They are always showing Seahwak games, UW games, etc., and there's plenty of space to spread out, drink, and chill with friends. I have known of Teddy's for about 5 years now. My son and his band used to like to party there and soon I found myself delivering the chips and nuts there. Let me tell you, everyone I ever met that works there from the owner to the bartenders were the nicest people to deal with. If you would base your patronage on good honest people that offer a clean place to party, and really enjoy what they do, this is the place. I remember there was a little old lady that I would see in there on occasion that loved to come in for a beer or two before 4pm. After she was done they would walk her to her car and help her in (not because she was drunk, but because she just wasn't balanced well). This is good customer service. read more

I've been here a few times now and it is really growing on me. The patio is awesome and has a ping pong table. There is also pool and some pretty decent size tv's. This place is super chill. Like the other reviews I feel inclined to mention the friendliness of the owner and bartenders. As of 3 or so weeks ago, when I inquired about food, Dan said they were no longer serving any but they let you bring in food from other places which is cool since there are a variety of restaurants near by. read more

This place was alright, nothing too special if ya ask me but we had a good time. They have some pool tables and darts and lots of tables to sit at. I'm guessing they have some good drink specials but i just got a PBR so didn't really notice. Just seems like the kind of dive that would have good specials. From reading the other reviews it sounds like they have a good outdoor area. Maybe it's a better place to go in the summer. I'll be back then. read more

I'm a big fan of Teddy's. The place was quite packed on Friday, when a large group of us showed up. The 2 bartenders were super quick and friendly. They pushed a bunch of tables together for us as people left. Not a food bar - but great cheap drinks. They squeeze their own juice, so I'm usually here for a beer or a grehound. The backyard (literally...) in the summertime is awesome. Great place to sip on a beer, play some ping pong, and hang out. Love Teddy's, and always ready to go back. read more

One of my top 2 favorite bars in Seattle. This bar has ample space - especially if the weather is nice and the back patio is open - and great drinks. The cocktails are great and there's always a solid local beer selection on tap. The owner, Dan, is awesome and works really hard to make people feel welcome. And importantly one of my favorite things about this bar is that the amazing, mouth-watering Rain City Burgers delivers here. Order and pay through the bartender and he'll call it in for you and deliver it to your table when it arrives. And you really can't beat that - a great bar and delicious drinks and food! read more

Great, great pub. Two pool tables, 50 cents per game. Pinball. Big Buck Hunter. Ping pong table outside!!! (Ask at the bar for paddles.) There's a consistently good selection of microbrews, and they serve pitchers, at around the $18 mark. read more

Teddys served as our local watering hole 2 years ago. It was cool, but never really appealed to me too much, it was just convenient. The inside is kinda cafeteria like, jus so open. they have a couple of pool tables, dart boards, and maybe the only place in seattle that has an outdoor ping pong table!!! The bartender/owner? is a really nice guy tho and I think they do make long islands out of fresh squeezed fruit which actually is wonderful! read more

Complete dive bar, but not exactly in the best way. (is there a best way, I dunno). Nothing really stands out about Teddy's. It's in a pretty good location. When I go to a bar I prefer that there is some sort of entertainment, good beer selection, or pleasant atmosphere...Teddy's hits 2 out of 3! There is a large patio in the back with a ping pong table and everything, and they have a pool table with a sign up sheet (entertainment check); the bar is clean, there is plenty of seating, the crowd is laid back, and they usually have some sports game on the TV (atmosphere check); The beer selection is kinda boring but they do have specialty cocktails that incorporate fresh fruit juice. Now that I live in the neighborhood it has become one of my favorite pubs. read more

Rockn' bar...great outdoor space in the summer, great place to watch the game and super good drinks. Prices are right and you can bring in any kind of food you can carry. Perfect summer Sunday = hanging out at teddy's on the back patio with a great fresh juiced cocktail and a sandwich from whole foods next door. Like many reviewers of teddy's, I really wish I could keep this place all to myself. I have actually considered dropping out of school and getting black market livers in order to drink enough to keep them in business by myself, sadly it has never seemed feasible. read more

I like dive bars, and this is one of them. Aside from the college-ish crowd that you can't escape in the UD, this place is surprisingly laid back. Relatively good prices, efficient and friendly service, great back patio that has a ping pong table, or you can watch sports on one of the many tv's. This place is modestly sized with a couple pool tables and a real jukebox. What more could you ask for...Oh, not much in the way of food though so keep that in mind. read more

Teddy's was my go-to bar for many years. Even though I moved out of the area I still go and visit fairly frequently. All the bartenders are great! I always have a good time here. NFL Sunday Ticket + Rain City Burgers delivery = :). They also have great playing pinball. read more
