The three man crew of Rich, Roger and Lawrence were all detailed, conscientious and honest. They all displayed a strong work ethic and are good people. Then this happened: cracks started forming on the concrete, found shoe prints on the borders and unstamped borders. My husband and found it weeks after letting the concrete cured. We called as soon as we discovered the problem. Chris denied that it was caused by them. To make the long story short, we have been trying to connect with them for 6 months and nothing is being done. Both Jason and Chris have no respect of our time. They would set up an appointment to come and fix the issue but never show up. There would also be a time that they would cancel the day of. We are beyond frustrated at this point. When cashing the check, they were quick and very friendly. As soon as an issue comes up, it will take them almost a year to resolve the problem. I had to call the contractor's licensing board to complain about the company and found out several issues and discrepancies. This company is notorious of letting others operate using their license. My husband and I were patient enough to give them time to fix their mistakes but both had gone too far and really pushed our buttons. This company does not deserve a single star. They are very unprofessional and only will come through for you during collecting the payment. I am a very reasonable person but when situations like these happen, I have to put my foot down and make sure I am treated how cunsumers supposed to be treated.

Removal on one day, install on another. Associate came and gave us a quote and we accepted. Came and removed the door, as requested. We pre-scheduled the install date 5 days later, to allow for reglazing of the shower and setting of the reglaze. Associate was texted and called on the day of the install as a reminder. He replied saying he would come. He did not show up at the appointment time. We waited 15 minutes and called. He told us he had forgotten and wouldn't come out that day due to traffic. Okay. We rescheduled for the next day by phone. We texted and called him for reminders on the rescheduled install day. He texted and confirmed he would come. He did not come at the appointment time and did not pick up the phone after 3 attempted calls. We called from another number and he picked up. He said he was on another job. Okay. At this point, we hired someone else. We are understanding people. Just please communicate needs. If we are not within an acceptable distance to complete a job, tell us. We will hire someone else. If you forgot, make every effort to arrive the next scheduled day. That's fine. It almost felt like we were being ghosted on the rescheduled day when phone calls were not being returned. Really unacceptable. Thankfully, we did find another person/service to complete the install.

His company did a great job on the complete remodeling of my bathroom: new floors, toilet, fixtures, dual sink vanity, knock down old lighting fixture and installation of recess lights, removed popcorn ceiling, paint, upgraded baseboards, converted tub to a walk-in shower with tiles to the ceiling, split level shampoo box, corner bench, frameless glass door and installation of a quiet whisper exhaust system. It was a complete transformation. James uses his own crew (not sub-contractors) to do the work, which is why the quality is outstanding. The crew showed up on time every morning and cleaned up any debris at the end of each day. It's my fault for being trusting and not inspecting but I never thought I would get tricked. He installed a brand new tub but it was broken and he just plastered and covered it with plaster the tub was scratched and cracked. The tile was also cracked. He didn't install my closets doors right either. It hasn't been 2 years and the tile flooring he laid is coming undone. The glass door he installed is coming undone too. He never finish certain details like the floor . Water leaks out of my shower. They painted the walls and got paint all over the closet carpet. He installed a vanity and cut horribly. Worst of all when he did demo, he cut some pipes to my AC and didn't fix them, when I had a new AC system installed they found the leak where he cut the pipe. I have documented prof. From AC company. I wasn't going to post or say anything because I was ashamed for being hustled but to many things have gone wrong. My best advice is to avoid this person. Just my personal opinion and experience.

In the course of the initial shower ceiling and tile repair job, this evolved into a complete bathroom remodel and partial kitchen fixture, counter and floor renovation. We are extremely satisfied with the work that was done and we highly recommend Mark and Rob to anyone considering any home remodeling or renovation work. 1) Responsiveness - We called several contractors with mixed results. Some were busy and not able to take on another job. Some just didn't even bother to return our calls, emails or text messages. However, Mark responded promptly and we set-up at date and time for him to drop by. Throughout the course of the job, whenever we had any questions, Mark responded quickly to address our concerns. 2) Punctuality & Reliability - Mark arrived on time on the day we had set-up for him to come by to assess the job and provide the estimate for the work. Once the job was started, Mark and his brother Rob always arrived on time each day to start the job. In fact, Mark arrived early each morning and parked outside before I left each day. 3) Pricing - The estimate Mark provided was competitive with other estimates we obtained. Mark gave the good recommendations and his approach for the repair and remodeling work. In fact, Mark provided several options as to the scope of the job and the grade and prices of materials, such as fixtures, wall and floor tiles, which we could select to fit our budget. We really appreciated that Mark stated that we should not spend more than a certain amount for the wall and floor tiles. 4) Quality of workmanship - Both Mark and Rob are very "hands-on" and they did all the carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work, not assigned to subcontractors. After the job was started, we could see they were truly the professional craftsmen, who took pride in their work. They did not rush the job and took the necessary time to ensure that everything was done properly and to the homeowner's satisfaction. 5) Others - Over the course of the several weeks and months for the bathroom and kitchen jobs to be completed, we got to know both Mark and Rob much better. They are both very easy going, extremely honest and humble. We did not hesitate to leave them to their work, while we left to do our errands! I am familiar with another high pressure home services contractor, who does a lot of advertisements with the saying "good deeds for free". Well we experienced this first hand with Mark & Rob. One weekend, I had a flat tire, but the tire store was not open. So on the Monday morning, I was waiting for the AAA tow truck to come take my car to the tire store. I explained to Mark and Rob what happened. Then my wife comes in to tell me that Mark and Rob are outside with their compressor putting air into the flat and checking to see where the puncture is located!!! It turned out to be a very small puncture and after they put air into the tire, I could have driven to the tire store, but the tow truck had arrived.

We hoped to do the kitchen in March 2020, but something happened that delayed the job until this year. From Feb-April, Mark and his brother did a full kitchen remodel -- and it began with very carefully replacing the horrible electrical wiring and old piping we had in the kitchen. They were careful to show us all the issues and run any extra work (there was a lot) past us, and always were clear about cost and time--exactly what you hope for in having work done: clarity, communication, professionalism. Over the course of a few weeks, they did everything: fixed the electrical, fixed quite a bit of plumbing, installed new cabinets and countertops and lighting, had a great tile guy put in a gorgeous tile floor and backsplashes, painted, installed floating shelves and a new sink and disposal, put in a subfloor, fixed our doorframes ... really they did everything. The kitchen now vs. how it was in the past is amazing: from something that was dangerous and not particularly functional to modern, elegant, highly usable. (And we recently had a plumbing issue in our laundry room, and Mark came out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it -- in literally a day and a half, and it included opening a wall and replacing pipes. Great work, thorough, pretty quick.) Beyond that, Mark is a great communicator, very conscientious, and fairly priced. He does great work. Trustworthy, honest, hard-working. Couldn't recommend him more highly.
