Happy hour rolls! Red dragon and teejay roll

The best sushi in Fort Lauderdale! They have two locations and they are both awesome! The food, the service and the ambience never fails to disappoint. The rolls are always fresh and they are HUGE compared to other sushi spots. They also have a great happy hour daily from 4-7 which includes their most popular roles you must go try this place!

This place is really nice. I've come many times to this restaurant. The ambiance is very relaxing and portion size are great. I always come here if I'm in the area. The service is great. I think they have one of the best chicken pad Thai. The menu is pretty big so many options to choose from. Definitely recommend this place.

When it comes to sushi, super fresh and buttery tasting sushi tastes the best. I hate to say it but for a Friday night, this didn't pass the test. They did have a really interesting seating area, where you sit on cushions. The rolls start at $13 and then the speciality rolls jump to $30. Both of these rolls were regarding the $13 roll, if the quality was there - we would've ordered the $30 roll.

My roommate and I order from here quite often, as they're close by and have a lot of options! My go-tos are the california roll (so good with the spicy mayo added!) and the spring rolls. I've tried the cheese rangoons, which I typically love but they're not my favorite here. Also, the dragon roll is a bit difficult to eat, as the rolls are pretty big, so I like to stick to the basic rolls. I highly recommend the california roll! Great place to order take-out at!

I loved having lunch here! It's right next to one of my friends houses and she suggested the lunch specials here. We were instantly sat, the place is beautiful with a large fish tank serving as the dividing wall from the entry to the dining room. Our server was so sweet, the menu was extensive but the lunch specials were all the way at the back. They also put out an iPad with their other monthly specials, some of the wagyu nigiris and special dishes looked so good but i opted for the daily special of the TJ combo with half Atlantic and half yakuza roll. My fave was the Atlantic roll, the flavors and textures rolled together so well. I also got a delicious Thai tea, and my friend had the curry duck which was also so yummy. The lunch specials are 13-19$ so reasonable with the salad or soup included. I will definitely be back!

Great Happy Hour, with a variety of sushi, appetizers, and drinks. I had not been in ages and was happy with my experience. They can get rather busy, so get in early to avoid a possible wait.

This time around there was barely any parking available in the shopping center but luckily there was only a wait of about 20-30 minutes. We were seated, greeted and served very quickly. This time around I came with a few friends and to start we had the papaya salad (not spicy {we forgot to add spice}), and the chicken wings. Both dishes were very fresh. As my main dish I ordered the Pad Woon Sen with shrimp and one of my friends ordered the Pad Thai with chicken (spicy). Both dishes were incredible and I would order them again. To drink I ordered a Thai iced tea which was rich and silky. And for dessert we shared an order of the mango sticky rice which was so flavorful and delicious.

The service was spot on and they truly appreciated our business. We were looking for a comfortable place to have a quiet Thai meal (friend's request) and this was perfect. I liked the brightly colored tables. Someone who ordered take out decided to stay and eat in after seeing the nice little dining area. Don't let the outside fool you (small strip mall). Their English is a bit limited but the sandwich board in the dining area has very specific info. When I asked if they had pork soup buns, the waitress suggested a soup (she heard pork soup). I agreed to the soup anyways (with pork ribs floating) and it was yummy with lemongrass and other interesting flavors. A bit messy to get the meat out of the soup and off the bone but the meat was very tender. My friend and I split a meal and it was just the right amount of food. Neither of us could pinpoint the spices. Who cares, it was delicious. I never take food photos but Yelpers always request them so I have included some. The presentation of the yummy salad with cabbage standing straight up deserved a photo. My guess is anything you get here will not disappoint. Give them a try!

One thing I immediately noticed was the steady flow of takeout orders. There was constant pickup traffic, which says a lot about their off premise business. For my entrée, I ordered the red curry with fried tofu and added broccoli for an extra charge. After eating about a third of the meal, I ended up packing the rest to go, and it easily became dinner the next day as well. This is absolutely going to be a part of our rotation for top asian-fusion eats in Fort Lauderdale. Our group of 4 was quite impressed - from the warm service (shout out to Chino), beautifully plated dishes, to the flavors that hit every note from comfort to creativity. In fact, our female friend actually said while most asian restaurants we've introduced them to were very good, this place is by far the BEST of all! We started with 2 orders of grilled chicken skewers - perfectly charred, tender, and lightly sweet from the marinade, that came with a bright cucumber-tomato salad and the creamy peanut sauce that tied everything together. The Bangkok Wings topped with crunchy onions was a standout--so juicy inside. The Tom Kha soup with chicken was comfort in a bowl. Velvety coconut broth, mildly spicy with fresh herbs and mushrooms that soaked up all that flavor. For mains, the Mixed Seafood Pad Thai was just out-of-this world! That was super delish - it had the classic balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Loved the thin, glossy and well-coated rice noodles. The Dynamite mussels was innovative. Creamy, lightly torched, topped with crispy tempura flakes, and beautifully presented. Loved the different textures in each bite. We also ordered a Four Seasons Specialty Roll which came with shrimp tempura, salmon, tuna and some type of white fish with asparagus and eel sauce. Yummo! The menu is huge and we will definitely be back to try more items. Check them out - absolutely worth a visit.

Our usual foursome went on a Friday night. When the guys took bites of the food and said, "This is really good," I knew we were at a great place, as they never are effusive and typically, us wives have to ask if they like their choices. The atmosphere is nice, the drinks are good - the Thai margarita is a spicy stand-out - and the food is delicious. Portions are big and service is great. We shared the steamed Kanom Jeeb dumplings and the Moo Groob, the Thai version of chicharrón ... crispy yet very tender. My husband had green curry, my friend had Tod Man Goong Shrimp and I had Yum Woon Sen, cellophane noodle salad that had the most tender squid I've ever eaten. I ordered a Thai iced tea, and my friend ordered a cocktail with tequila, passion fruit, tamarind juice, and fee foam. My drink was good and strong, and hers was also really good, nice and tart, which we both enjoyed. For appetizers, we ordered the crispy money bags and the chor muang dumplings, and both were delicious. The crispy money bags, filled with sweet potato, onion, and curry powder and served with pineapple sauce, had a great crunch. The chor muang dumplings were especially surprising, in a good way. They contain shrimp and pork and are wrapped in a butterfly pea flower dumpling, which gives them their beautiful purple color. However, I wasn't expecting them to be sweet. The presentation was amazing as well. We split one entree, which was the pad see ew with chicken. It comes with flat noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg, and a brown sauce. It was delicious, the noodles held the sauce really well. My friend ordered a second drink, which we can't remember the name of, that she didn't enjoy as much. She found it a bit too sweet and didn't love the aftertaste. Overall, we enjoyed almost everything we tried. We weren't expecting so many dishes to have a hint of sweetness, but we'll definitely be back to try more.
