This is FANTASTIC Thai! Being from Los Angeles, I was sure it would be disappointing - I mean, some of the best Thai food in the world can be found in both LA and Northern cal where I live now. But nope, color us surprised. We got Panang curry with chicken and rice and Thai teas and everything was top of the line quality and flavors. I also need my curry very mild and they were able to do that! So many places just don't. The young man serving us was also charming, intentional, and speedy when we needed to wrap up quickly! I stayed in Indiana for work and was craving Thai food. I ordered to-go food and took it back to my hotel. I got the Tee Rak Kee Mao noodles with a 7 spice level and an order of the crab rangoons. I was very impressed with the taste and quality of both dishes. The Tee Rak Kee Mao noodles were flavorful, spicy (but not overly spicy), and had a nice, sweet finish. The crab rangoons were very sweet from the cream cheese but balanced well with the crab and dipping sauce. The service was phenomenal as well. The staff were very nice and even gave me a call back when I forgot my crab rangoons at the restaurant. 10/10 for food quality and 10/10 for staff friendliness and helpfulness. I will be eating at Teerak when I am in town again. read more

One of my favorite Thai places in the entire country. I travel extensively for six months out of the year and haven't found a better place yet. The crab Rangoons are amazing and $6 for six! This is the only place I eat when I'm in Indiana, other than my hotels breakfast. Yesterday o had the chicken pad thai which I look forward to every year and was incredible. Today I decided would be a good day to go get some Thai food. The drive was an hour away from my home, but it was absolutely worth the drive. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of space to move around and sit. The staff was super kind and I will most definitely be going back! The food was so tasty with its bold flavors and many options to choose from. I especially appreciated how you could pick the level of spice in your dish. It was spot on with flavor and texture. The wait was super reasonable as it only took 10 minutes or even less to get our food. I ate Thai toast as an appetizer, Pad Thai for my entree, tried my restaurant buddy (my mom) Thai Fried Rice from her entree, and enjoyed fried bananas with ice cream for dessert. All of that food and it was only $45! You get lots of food for the price you pay, I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and family. read more

What a wonderful hidden gem! Went for a getaway in small town PA with my girl and we weren't expecting one of the best Thai restaurants we've ever had. It's comparable to Thai spots in California and New York - and better than the ones in Columbus, OH (according to homegirl) - and didn't lack in sophistication either. A great surprise and an unexpected highlight of our trip. Due to the pandemic, we didn't get a chance to dine in, but the decor and vibe were lovely and the service was brilliant. We called in close to closing and they handled the order quickly and courteously, everything was COVID safe, and the food traveled well. Very disappointing. I read reviews that said their food was wonderful, and wonder why my experience was quite the opposite. We went there with another couple, and all four of us ordered different appetizers and entrees. None of us were satisfied with our meals. I ordered their Crab Rangoon, which was actually pretty good. For my entree I ordered CHICKEN WITH GARLIC BLACK PEPPER BELL PEPPER MUSHROOM ONION IN BROWN SAUCE, which was watery and didn't have any brown sauce that I could see. It also had very little chicken, and while I ordered it at heat level 3 it was very bland and more like heat level 0. I doctored it with soy sauce which was watered down. My wife had their Three Flavor Chicken and said it was just bland breaded chicken. Her exact words were it was, "non-flavored chicken". I've been to other Thai restaurants and, having something to compare to, I don't recommend Teerak. read more
