So Alex has been working on my race cars & daily's for 20 years we became good friends, mind you this whole time he always has an attitude But I need the work done so I delt with it, well this past month I took my 240 to him for a basic clutch install, i ordered the clutch for will call pick up the same day & turned out they said it won't be ready until the next morning, well Alex LOST his shi made me call them 4 times to rush them or else he will charge me an extra $190 an hour on top of the $190 an hour I'm paying. And of course I wasn't allowing that! So after the job was done he told me to never bring an import car to him again he QUITS I'll imports haha mind you I've spent at least 100k with this guy in 20 years. Then as I'm picking up my car he's taking in another person with an import smh funny character. Hardly anyone is allowed to work on my car. Very very few shops have touched it. A friend of mine met Tony at a car meet who happened to know my late husband. I also knew Tony was a Nissan Wizard. That is where the trust came in. The car has a couple of Gremlins that enjoy living under the hood. I needed to get the pesky gas leak fixed and a new battery for the upcoming Nisfest show. Tony and his crew were amazing. They tackled my issues. And trust me there were a few issues. Then got it up and running in a couple of days. I had a grinding wheel for about half a year and went to multiple mechanic locations and none could diagnose the problem/do anything about it. Tek One immediately got to work to diagnosing my problem and ruled out a faulty wheel hub. Immediately went out to get parts for me and got to work replacing my wheel hub. Trying to type a few words here once again to describe Tek One's great auto repair work will not do them enough justice. This time we took my husband's Mercedes E500 because it needed some major repair work involving the drive shaft. Alex and his team always make sure to order the correct parts needed from the dealership/original manufacturers for the cars. They also test drive your car to feel/hear/see what the problem is on your car and then test drive it after the repair to make sure the car is running as it should. First off let me just say that Alex and his team are very genuine and honest. They treat you like they are your best friends from the moment you call the shop! Caroline is also very nice and understands your situation and will cooperate with you to make contact with Alex. Now here is the story about my car and how Alex was the only person who could solve my problems. I purchased my 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo back in May 2013 with a seized engine. It's was replaced at another shop. That other shop also replaced a lot of miscellaneous parts that didn't need replacing or wasn't the solution to other problems(money wasted). I then went to another 5/5 star shop that kept my car for over 2 weeks and could never find any of the problems I was having. At this point I was starting to lose hope in my car. So one night I was reading about shops who specializes in Supras. I then found Driftmotion. The guy at Driftmotion was busy and referred me to his good friend Alex at Tekone Auto. That's the day I began to gain hope again. I called Alex and spoke to me in a tone as if I was his best friend, I told him what was occurring and what I wanted to try as a solution. He then told me bring it down to the shop. When I got to the shop, I noticed a lot of high end cars including a popular Supra. I knew I was in the right place then and there. Alex then gave me a breakdown of what he was going to do in order to solve my problems and will update me. So I dropped my car off there and went on my merry way. Alex then calls me the next day saying he did a diagnosis on my car for 6 hours straight, 6 HOURS, who does that these days. The best part, he did 4 and half of those hours FREE! He found all of my issues and fixed them all and stuck to his original price. Not only that, but if he ran into a problem(such as 87-88 Turbo knock sensors are no longer made), he created a innovative solution and used the 2JZ knock sensors. I retrieved the car and drove it home no problems, but unfortunately the intercooler hose busted two weeks later. I then began to save up money so I can bring the car back to Alex because he is the only mechanic I can trust! So recently I brought my car back to Alex and his team took care of me greatly. They fixed all of my problems once again and for the first time ever, my car was no longer a GROSS POLLUTER and was able to PASS SMOG, with flying colors. All thanks to Alex and his team, I and now driving my car happily to school and back with 0, I repeat 0 issues whatsoever. Alex and his team were the only ones who fix my car, THE RIGHT WAY!
