Decided to try this spot when we were picking up my car down the road. We saw a sign outside that said specials. They had a crunch shrimp roll for $7? We tried it, it was delicious! Tasty! The tempura was okay. My husband tried a roll too and spamubi. We both ate for $30? Can't even pay that much at canes! lol we always pay a lot to eat and this was a nice treat. As soon we we were walked in we were greater and waited on. We were checked in while eating and everyone who works there said bye when we left. It was such a nice time. They clean very well I noticed they also clean the floor when ppl leave and the guys towel when we was wiping the floor was so clean lol I'm nosey I guess haha. I appreciate the clean atmosphere and 2000s rock and alternative too. I have not had such horrible sushi in decades! The staff was very nice but the food honestly made me sick. The fish (we ordered salmon and tuna rolls) is all mushed up into mushy rice and the wasabi has absolutely no flavor. The edamame had a pound of salt on it and the shrimp tempura had no sign of actual shrimp. I wouldn't come back to this place if someone paid me. If the owner is reading this, please fix the food. It's on the verge of inedible. If you are in the mood for sushi, you're better off buying it at the grocery store than eating here. read more

Still our fav sushi place, ramen place and Soba. We come here at least once a week because we love it so much. The food is great, and they have quite a lot on the menu to choose from. Love exploring the rolls and the atmosphere is great. Plenty of parking. There's also outdoor seating so you can enjoy the sunshine . The best part about this place is the owner and staff. Service is okay, probably due to language barrier, they kind of just ask what you want and leave u alone but they are busy most of the time so I understand and it's fine by me, I don't need that much. But I think they should check up on the table for more napkins at least once because we were dying. But amazingggggggggg food the chef knows what he is going. As much as we would like to love this place, the food was not good at all. The salmon was bland and had some hard parts. The crunch roll had cold tempura and a boatload of tempura crumbs on top of the rolls. The rolls were not good. The shrimp udon had 5 shrimps - the noodles were just ok. Very friendly servers. I didn't even know this place was there as Target is usually where I'm headed to, but I'm glad to have tried this small restaurant. All the servers were super friendly and it seemed like they had quite a bit of regulars. The sushi chefs were amazing and friendly as well. My kids enjoyed the spam masubi and chicken teriyaki with some miso soup. I had the crunchy roll. An awesome price on Sunday night! :) My husband had the sashimi plate and it was plenty, try it with a hot shot of sake! The garlic edamame was delicious. Ordered the teriyaki chicken and a spicy salmon roll. Comes with a tiny side salad and a very small miso soup. The teriyaki chicken was tiny portion size and tasted average. The spicy salmon roll was full of rice with a very small amount of mushy salmon. Ratio was pretty bad. Still paid almost $20 for the 2 items. Not worth it at all. read more

Ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time. I've tried other ramen places around the area and they'e been just OK. I wanted a vegetable broth ramen, and they had the option. Most places male their broth quite salty, but this place does not. I actually enjoyed the ramen, as well as my family. Their black garlic ramen is quite garlic-strong, but that was expected. It actually helps keep that greasy feeling down per family. You can remove toppings or add toppings, which I always appreciate. Also, they know how to pack their ramen from spilling over for takeout which is also appreciated. The ramen broth was still nice and hot when delivered. However, I'm sure the ramen will taste better when dining in. So will try to visit in person one day! read more

We started w/3 of the gyoza - perfectly fried with a nice dipping sauce, ordered 3 of the tonkatsu Black Ramen (delicious broth, plenty of pork, veggies and a whole boiled egg), 3 sushi rolls (yellow tail submarine roll & dragon roll). Restaurant is in a business park off of Palomar Airport road, tucked toward the back. The waitstaff is super friendly and very efficient. The roll was big and a good value. Our ramens also came with lots of toppings including the WHOLE egg (most places only come with half). This is a place we keep coming back to for a work sushi lunch. We ordered up quite a feast of different rolls and mixed tempura on our last time in. I accidentally ordered the garlic edamame (good) but I meant to order the spicy edamame (better). They were kind enough to take back the garlic and add the spicy sauce and the spicy garlic combo was fabulous. So thanks for fixing my error! Love the lemon roll - that's one of my favorites almost anywhere. Also enjoyed the caterpillar roll. Can't remember what else we ordered, but it was a lot and they were all enjoyable. read more
