End of story, after hundreds paid and owed, TV was not fixed. He said he needed even MORE money for additional parts, with no guarantee that the TV would be fixed, the whole thing seemed like a money-making scam. I should have listened to my gut in the first place when I was sus over the whole no credit card caper! There is nothing to back up the defenseless Client in this situation. My advice is STAY AWAY!

I talked to John about coming over to fill out the claim form and he said 95% of the time it's something he can fix. And he did! I got both my tv's back, working perfectly, and paid less for the repair than I would have paid for my insurance deductible. He even called me with updates when the parts were back ordered.
