We visited a couple times during our trip. Great food and service. Large portions; definitely a good value!

We visited on a Saturday night with a party of 8 Texans who know Mexican food. Honestly I wasn't expecting too much, but we were all pleasantly surprised. In general, the food isn't as spicy as what we are used to, but it was all very good. There are plenty of choices on the menu, and many of the dishes rely on the "cheese sauce" (which we would call chili con queso). In true Texas style, most plates are good when covered with queso. Yum! We sampled a wide array of menu items, and adults and kids alike were all pleased. My wife said the chicken enchiladas were among the best she has had. For a small town, this is an excellent option for crowd-pleasing Mexican food. Note: No alcohol served, so no margaritas to go with your meal! read more

Yum yum yum yum! Our second visit to this restaurant is just as amazing as the first! The queso is without question my favorite food that I've ever tasted. Today we had chicken and beef tacos and chicken enchiladas, they were all great. As always the service was polite and attentive but not over crowding. This is definitely the best Mexican food in the area. Not only is the food really good but the restaurant is super cute, and makes you feel as if you are at an authentic Mexican restaurant. I also need to give a shout out to the staff, particularly Tori who our server, for all being extremely sweet and kind during our visit in Arkansas. The staff is very attentive and they all have amazing customer service skills. One lady I guess knows my grandma, who lives in Arkansas, and was saying the sweetest things about my grandma which literally melted my heart. I didn't even know this person and she was making me feel like family. Literally the kindest people. If you are looking for a good place to eat in Arkansas, this place is a must. Due to it being a dry county, they don't serve alcohol which was the only thing I was bummed about. As I do love to have a margarita with my food. But they do have other nonalcoholic drinks that are very refreshing and tasty. I recommend this place to anyone wanting some good food and a nice ambience. read more

Fast service and great food! Had one minor mess up on one dish where they forgot the sour cream and guacamole, but they remedied it quickly and without any fuss. Very cute design and everything looks so clean. Would definitely recommend as a quick lunch stop after crater of diamonds state park! This place is great!! It was a welcomed surprise how welcoming they ALL were when we went to eat here tonight. From the moment we stepped through the door until we left. Service was FANTASTIC and the food was great!! We were served chips, dips and drinks really quickly. Our steak tacos were just as we ordered and tasted wonderful. The chips are so thin and crispy. In fact, probably the best chips I have ever had since I prefer thin chips haha. We are only in town for 2 nights but we will probably go back to this place tomorrow night since they really seem to value their customers. We were at the Ka Do Ha Indian museum when the cashiers were eating their Telinga's carry out lunch. It looked and smelled amazing. So we went. The service was stellar. So kid ran into a waiter carrying a full tray of drinks. It was handled In quick friendly professional manner. As for the food. It was MUI BUENO. Definitely get the guac. Yum. Great place to stop after a day at the Diamond Mine. Very friendly staff. We started with the guacamole which was so creamy and yummy. The salsa was ok. this is the only restaurant that was open on a Sunday afternoon when we arrived in the city. After we checked into our rental property , we came back to eat here, and we're glad that we did. This place was not on my list of places to try for food , but I'm glad we were forced into this decision. This place is definitely a Hidden Gem , as the food was great. I wish I could remember what we had but it was so great that we ordered an extra dish just to take home so we would have something in case we got hungry again, which we did. They had a drink called pineapple water that was made by allowing pineapples to float in the water. You can only taste a hint of pineapple when you drunk it. It was not excessively sweet. read more

Loved this place! They have Regular drinks but for anyone who knows how to do it right...you should get the Horchata! Queso was not included but it was good. It was white cheese instead of the yellow queso that I'm used to in Oklahoma. You can't go wrong with the enchiladas Maria's, 3 different ones with rice and beans. This place popped on to our radar shortly after checking into our motel (guess which of the 3 we are staying at...it's yellow and boring looking...it is located directly in between the other two in town...yeah, you probably already know) which is just up the road...(or is it down the road?) Haha, who knows. Anyways it only took 2 minutes to read through all the local restaurants (only about 5 of them) and they all had roughly 4 stars. How do you decide when you just arrived in a town that you've never heard of? We read through all the reviews and figured that since his place had the most reviews that it would be the best choice. After our 30 second car trip, with no traffic, we arrived and were instantly seated at a clean table. Moments later a mini carafe of salsa and bowl of chips rapidly appeared. The menu was a ridiculous like 6 pages long...this really slowed down my decision process. Then someone ran to take our order and not even 5 minutes later our food arrived. Talk about the shortest wait I've ever had for food. I ordered the combo and selected one beef burrito with queso and a tamale. The sides were rice and beans. The burrito was my favorite part but wasn't really a burrito. It was just a beef taco with queso sauce. Very good and simple. The tamale was ok but not the best I've ever had. I liked the queso and the beans and rice were unmentionably bland. The salsa and chips were my favorite parts of the meal! All in all this place was good for where it's at. read more

Fastest service I have EVER had and good service to boot. Very average Mexican which is better than I expected in such a tiny town. The chimichanga was good. The enchilada was weird...no enchilada sauce...just cheese...cheese dip comes on everything! The chili relleno was not very good...mostly because it was drowned in cheese sauce. We also ordered nachos, fajitas, and burger with fries that all tasted on point. For a small town with very little options we thought this may not be a good place. But we were pleasantly surprised. Stopped by at the last minute during a trip to the Diamond Crater. Glad we did! It was busy, but we got in quickly. The service was great and friendly, and we really enjoyed our food. It was on the mild side, but that suits me fine. I got the appetizer plater, and my partner got a burrito. Super tasty. It's a really fun atmosphere. I could see it as being family friendly too. We went to one of the diners on the trip too, and this place had them beat. If we were back in this town, Telinga's is where we'd eat. read more

Ok this place surprised the heck out of me. I am always cautious of Mexican restaurants being Mexican I take my food seriously. My wife and in laws are white and we are from Dallas they love Tex mex. This place had great street tacos the pastor was delicious and he brought out a green salsa that hit the spot. The enchiladas my wife got looked so good. Best restaurant that I have ever eaten at. We ate here after visiting the crater of diamonds and it was so great, we drove an hour back the next day to eat. I would say that everyone visiting the area should try this place. Not only was the food amazing both nights but the staff was amazing as well. We ended up having the same waiter the second night. There were 7 of us and he remembered our names and the kids' names as well as what they ordered. He gave great advise about the area and the storms coming in. Best Mexican good in Murfreesboro. Well...it's the only Mexican place in Murfreesboro but that's not the point. The place is great. Service so good that it's almost annoying. Food is stellar and super fresh to the table. My favorite is the chimichanga. Can't go wrong at all. If you go in and see he old lady in the kitchen, you know it's going to be great. This place is a must on all of my fishing trips to Murfreesboro. Nothing beats a hot meal at this place after a cold day of fishing. read more

Their horchata and cucumber drink (tastes just like the Cucumber Lime Gatorade if you've had it) make up for them not having margaritas due to being in a dry county. All of the guys working were very helpful, great service, attentive, and man did they hustle to clean a table after guests left. Burritos were all served wet, with a white queso on top, so order them dry if you don't want them sauced up. The taco salad, I went with chicken fajita, was a good size and the shell was fluffy and crispy. Would certainly have eaten here again but we were only in town for a night. read more

While the staff was excellent and friendly, the food was okay. My fajita del Mar was burnt, and my pico de gallo salad didn't have that fresh bite that I like. While my fajitas were burnt, I still found a way to enjoy it. Food was amazing! The restaurant has signs advising to wear mask until seated and the staff wore masks. Service was great. Server was attentive and continually checked on our table even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Guacamole and queso were outstanding.
