Sam Walkers is a great place to grab food and a drink. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. For starters we always get the nachos with pulled pork and guacamole. These are some of the best nachos you'll eat. For entrees my wife loves the Cajun pasta. I get either the smash burger or the chicken tenders. The food here is great, and they are great with allergies. A manager walks out the food with an allergy alert. If you're in Woburn, check out Sam Walkers. 10/10

Went to Sam Walkers for the second time. First time I got Steak Tips while my daughter got the Chicken Pie. The tips were just OK and she said the Chicken Pie was so hot should couldn't taste anything. Second time I wanted to play it safe and got the Deluxe Burger done medium. My daughter got the Pesto Chicken Pasta. My burger was OK although it was a bit on the rare side. Her Pesto Chicken looked incredible when it came to the table. However, the chicken had a really strange taste and the pasta was so loaded with tasteless pesto sauce it was swimming. Needless to say we let the server know and she took it right off the bill. My daughter got a salad and a Barvarian Pretzel instead. The pretzel was very good but the beer sauce was very grainy and not much flavor. The mustard sauce was pretty good though. There isn't much of a seasonal drink selection. All in all not a place we will return.

Royale burger - looks good but unfortunately was raw in the middle

Rare to leave a 2 star review for me, but I tried to give this place a chance again and the food and ambiance is not worth it. We thought we were playing it safe and ordered the royale burger and green goddess bowl - both looked pretty good, but were a disappointment. We got the burger and it was mostly rare / very pink and essentially raw and cold in the middle - didn't finish it. The fries were also cold, which was a bummer because who wants cold fries? For the green goddess bowl we asked for a vinaigrette on the side, but got green goddess dressing on the side - I think this was a kitchen error as we saw the server input our substitute in the toast device. Acoustically this place is in dire need of sound dampening as it's one giant room mostly. It is very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Our server was good, but that's really the only positive comment I have.

Solid place to go for food and drink if you find yourself Bermuda Triangle of Woburn/Wakefield/Melrose off of 93. I work in the area a few times a month and have popped by on various Tuesdays to wait out the traffic. To my surprise even on Tuesday it has always been very lively! I think a lot of commuter workers have the same idea + it's a shared lot with a hotel. Big space, really nice decor, casual elevated sports bar vibe. Good for groups but the bar areas could also be good spots to strike up conversations. The menu is enticing with some rotating dishes. My favorite so far was the steak Fajita bowl but everything I've tried has been pretty good including the smash burger and Shrimp Fra Diavlo, buff chicken dip solid. Good cocktails for sure. Staff has been courteous and professional and it's busy all the time- which tells you something! Check it out!

Came on a Sunday and was surprised how busy they were. Solid food. Good customer service. The place is pretty big, but would put in a reservation to be safe.

Spacious pub with a nice variety of breakfast, lunch and appetizers spreads! We couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch options, so we chose to get one of each and share. Service was prompt (note: if you order apps, the enteees do come out pretty quickly so you may want to space out when you order). The only item that didn't land was the caprese sandwich- the description looked a lot more alluring than it tasted! But otherwise you can't go wrong

The fried pickles here are a must, fried to perfection! The sauce it comes with has a nice kick to it too. I got the hot bird - spicy fried chicken sandwich with fries. The flavor was good, but the coleslaw tasted a little bitter at times and the breading slid off the chicken making it messy to eat. The short rib plate was delicious, minus the short rib. The mash potatoes were well seasoned and asparagus well cooked. However, the short rib was not seasoned at all, the meat was tender though. Cute place to meet with friends, good music, and overall nice vibes

Great spot! We stopped in for lunch and loved everything. Especially loved the wide range of options and care put into the gluten free menu. Our server was extremely nice and attentive as well. Over all a great spot to stop in for a meal or even just a drink at the bar.

I really enjoy this place, the vibes and the food are both really good. This was my first time getting food and it was really good and large portions. Our server, Cameron, was so great and was so on top of it for our party of 7. He made sure we had constant refills and was very knowledgeable of the menu.

Had some wonderful drinks for girls night. I previously have had not the best experience at Sam Walkers but tried again this evening and had a much better time. Came in and got seated right away at a high top. The host wasn't friendly or not friendly fly, just there. Our server was a peach and kept checking in on us to make sure we weren't thirsty, had some good and topping our water off. She was a great server. Had the painkiller and the drink of the month, $2 of the drink goes to a special foundation that they support. Pretty cool that they do such a thing. Drinks were nice and had a good amount of booze vs filler. We also had buffalo chicken dip, little expensive for what we were given but still good. The portion was small but loved how you got chips and veggies with it. All in all, had a wonderful time. Drinks are 10/10 and our server (forgot her name, sorry!) was wonderful. Glad I gave it another try.

A lot of places double up on the tortillas for this reason, but no need here. We ordered the birria, carnitas, and cabeza tacos, chicken sopes, beans, rice, sweet plantains, sweet rice pudding and horchata. Standouts were the carnitas and cabeza for me - very delicious in their simplicity, the meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Birria was also very good but overhyped IMO (novelty factor). The chicken sopes were way bigger than expected, could easily be a meal on its own and the masa tart was pretty good. Our table liked the green sauce to add zip to the food. It was very sunny when we went, so it was blinding and hot to be sitting inside, hope they install a shade at some point. They seem to only serve in takeout containers, so eating at a table requires getting a bit creative for a "plate" etc. There's a small lot behind the building and street parking is pretty easy. I will definitely be returning to try the lengua and more things next time!

We got the carne asade and chicken taco especial, the hibiscus tea, and churros! The tacos were delish! I usually opt for flour tortillas, however they make their corn tortillas and they are the soft ones, so I wanted to try it as it comes - I was not disappointed! The tacos come in 4 to a meal, so we so split two and two. Naturally, I prefer steak but both the chicken and steak were phenomenal. Lots of flavor!! The taco especial, has onions and cilantro and a nice lime squeeze on the side that is a nice flavor burst and addition. If you want the lettuce, cheese, tomato, etc. then you want the americano version. The tacos come with two sauces, both of which were spicy but you can tell were made/fresh! But that hibiscus tea - wow!! So delish! It was sweet and flavorful and a sip of freshness!! The churros were also incredible. Not that I didn't think I'd like the dulce de leche filling but it was um-yes yum! The outside was nice and crispy obv coated in cinnamon and sugar and then the inside was soft and doughy but not raw dough, just perfection. The dipping sauce was excellent too - they could provide a little bit more of it but we made it work. Anyways, highly recommend. It's fresh and authentic- clearly homemade with good ingredients!! Can't wait to try more from the menu!

We are not that far from Medford and it took over 45 minutes to get there (traffic was crazy!) and we were running late. I called and they were super nice and said they could hold the table for 10 minutes (we were running 5 minutes behind our reservation) and not to stress out. When we got there, they were hopping! I am sure they get a lot of pre-show people because before I could even say we had to be out of there by 7, she asked if we were going to the show and assured us we would be out way before then. My hubby and decided to go the tapas route (which is basically the majority of their menu) and it was AWESOME! We started with the Queso Fundido. I am not a chirozo fan but the hubby is so I thought I would give it a try. It worked very well with the cheese and did not over power it. We moved on to the Cheviche Amarillo, Plantano Macho stuffed with beef, and Pollo Mole. All were perfect and just the right amount of food. I think my favorite was the Cheviche which was a white fish with sweet potato. The "sauce" was a citrusy topping and so light - did not detract from other flavors. Really all three were delicious. We also tried the flan because it looked so good coming out. Fair warning that I am not a flan person but it looked so yummy. Again, it was better than I have had but still not a fan - hubby on the other had devoured it with pleasure. It is a great location as well, and the space was very cheery, clean and despite being super busy we were not on top of each other - super worth the trip!

I got the margarita de la casa with salt, it was your classic margarita, but I liked it. Smaller size. For food, we started with the tamal with pork mole, which was really tasty, and fresh. Only one per order though, at $12 a piece. The size wasn't huge either. I then ordered the arroz del mar. It was creamy rice mixed with calamari, shrimp, and octopus. I was expecting more of a cream sauce but it was more like a watery broth, with a kick. It was spicy but tolerable. I liked the flavors but it didn't hit my craving. My boyfriend got the pollo con mole which he liked but I don't think he was crazy about it. I was still hungry so we ordered the plantano macho with beef. This stuffed plantain was good, I liked the cheese on it. But again, small size.. I will say I didn't know it was tapas style until we overheard the waitress tell another table. It makes sense in hindsight but we were quite hungry and this might have deterred us from coming. Portions were small even for tapas style. I saw a group and I'm not sure how they managed without ordering a surplus of food. I overheard them order at least 7 tacos...one per order... Strong flavors and fresh ingredients, I would say that. I think this is an elevated experience for food and it was a pleasant experience, but I wouldn't rush back because I don't think the portions were worth it even for tapas style.
