    Mac and Cheese

The service was both fast and great and nobody else at my table had problems with their food, however throughout my mac and cheese there was little pieces of uncooked pasta which was kind of unappetizing for me. other than that my food was delicious and all the staff here was very nice and accommodating. this restaurant has a perfect atmosphere for a late lunch! the lighting was dim but not too dim! overall i will likely return!

UPDATE: Love the ahi tuna bowl! We've eaten here a few times now and this has to be my favorite dish on the menu. The fish is so fresh and beautifully presented. The wait staff here are always so kind and we are always seated quickly. The menu is pretty set so it would be nice if there offer some specials every now and then.

Went to brunch and honestly impressed for a chain restaurant. The wait staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, and food was very good. My friend is also GF and the cooks made sure to label her food with a toothpick to ensure the right plate was brought out!

Had a very yummy dinner with some friends. We had reservations and we were sat right away and even got roof top. Our server was super attentive and kind. I have a gluten food allergy and they kept me safe. I had the fish and chips and they were perfect! I can't wait to come again

Up in Boston for a few days staying across the street from here, we ended up going here 4 times. All the food was delish, service was excellent and the vibe was super cool. We sat on the rooftop 3 of the 4 times and it was lovely up there. Drinks and craft cocktails were on point. Great beer list on tap. Had the Korean chicken sandwich which was awesome, nachos were huge, and the tacos were delish. Really enjoyed the views up stairs. Definitely a good place to go.

I've been to a couple other locations that I prefer a little more. Things were a little slow to start and we arrived pretty late on a Monday. But we had a good time and enjoyed our food and drinks. I got an espresso martini, a spicy margarita and then a glass of Prosecco. The steak and cheese sandwich was decent, and the Mac and cheese was a generous serving. Our waitress was nice and checked in on us regularly. Holiday decor was still up so that was nice! The upstairs portion was closed- it would have been nice to see/be in that area.

I caught up with my high school best friend here last night and had a wonderful time. I got a marg and he got a beer, we shared the chicken tenders app and each got a burger. Great experience, delicious food, and awesome service. The place was beautiful and packed - clearly a great spot for people to gather. Would love to come back in the summer and see what it's like with the garage doors on a warm day!

Birthday arrival evening and found this place in what appears to be a shopping center. One of few places open late. Beautiful place, plenty of noise but still very private areas around the bar. They were short staffed so we were not greeted at door and we sat ourselves. We did have a 5 minute wait before our waiter came over. Despite that our waiter was very polite and friendly. The food was hot, delicious and pleasantly plated! Overall a good experience for my birthday

This was a pleasant surprise with good service, tasty food, allergy friendly, and decent atmosphere. We visited with some friends and had a good time. The Bayou chicken pasta bowl was very flavorful with a bit blackening on the chicken and Parmesan cream sauce. Highly recommended for people who like strong flavors. The Sweet and Spicy Thai Chicken salad was very generously portioned and really good. This location is in the Woburn Village Mall which is nice to explore and walk around.

A large group of us came on a Friday night for a special occasion and everything was good. We got the fried pickles, Yuzu Tuna Stack, and Sweet & Spicy Thai Chicken Salad. The food itself is decent, nothing amazing. The fried pickles were good. Someone got a pasta dish and it was not good. I would stick with traditional American/tavern food here. They do have vegetarian and gluten free options available. Service was good. Reservations are recommended for weekend evenings. This location has two levels and a rooftop. There are a ton of TVs so great for watching sports. It's located in the shopping center Woburn Village, so there is a parking lot but if it's a busy, you can be driving around a bit looking for a parking spot.

Came here with friends and it was a great environment! Friendly staff and decently good food with a large menu. The broccoli was a great starter and had lots of flavor, but we just wish it was a little crispier. Our entrees were all really good also, the burgers were delicious. The portions were large though and we all ended up taking half of our meals home.

I was visiting out of town and was amazed they had gluten free options. The food was so delicious and didn't even taste like it was gluten free. The chicken tenders were amazing and the pasta. I got a pizza and added tenders and it was the best. Loved every entree I got!

The menu? Vast. Like, "do-I-need-a-compass-to-navigate-this" vast, with plenty of options. It's always amusing to me how different parts of the U.S. have their own regional food quirks (like here in MA, where steak tips, roast beef sandwiches, and open-faced turkey sammies reign supreme). I was stuck between a couple of local specialties, but our delightful waitress, Haley, steered me in the direction of the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich, mentioning they roast a turkey every day (cue angels singing). I swapped out the fries for onion rings, because, duh! This sandwich? It could have fed a small village. It was a beast. A delicious beast, but an unwieldy one. I ended up abandoning the bread for the good stuff and tackled it with a knife and fork. All in all? Absolutely scrumptious. Bonus points for the bathrooms, which were clean as a whistle, and fear not! If you're afraid of missing the a Celtics 3 pointer or a Red Sox baseball toppling over the "green monstah" while nature calls, there's a giant screen perfectly viewable from the toilet. Yes, you can literally watch the game while you pee. Talk about a win-win situation!

I arrived here via uber and decided to have dinner at the hotel's main restaurant, the Lakeside Tavern. This Yelp review is for the restaurant only and not the hotel. I arrived here around 9:30pm. I opted to get dinner here first before checking into the hotel for the night. The service that night I was here was crazy slow. They had loud live band music and the vibe here was generally an older crowd on a Thursday evening in May 2025. I found a seat next to the bar near the kitchen and after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to take my order, I walked to the cash register and waited for someone to arrive. I ended up getting one of their signature meals for the evening and that was that. Since it was close to 10pm that evening, the music was winding down. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. It came in a takeout container with a plastic bag. I would have gotten something at Boston, Logan International Airport, but it was after 8 PM when I arrived and nothing in the terminal was open for me. With that said, I was happy that the Lakeside Tavern was open for anybody and everybody who was wanting to be there. For lunch, dinner, or just hang out and listen to live music with adult beverages. For me, though, I just need dinner after a long day of travel to Boston from Honolulu. I was glad that they were until 10 PM, otherwise I would have took an Uber to see what was around at the time near the hotel that serve food. The overall experience at the lakeside Tavern here in Wakefield, Massachusetts was typically OK, although I was starving and wanted quicker service that night. While the service was very slow, it was nice to partake in the live music that night. The ambiance was chill and friendly. The service was friendly and welcoming too. For the most part though, the experience here was pretty good and most likely will come back again get my troubles permit me to do so. I'll try to get here as quick as I can, but then again their travel is normally the same as it was 10 years ago. The restaurant itself was very clean, although it was dark enough to wear I can't see much. I just was glad that this restaurant at the hotel I was staying at for the night was open and grateful that they were still serving food while I was there. If you decide to stay at this hotel, consider dining in the Lakeside tavern because it is basically on property. You don't need to go elsewhere for your meals if you don't need to. If you're lazy like me, this restaurant is your best bet if you're staying at the hotel. Definitely recommended if you are one of those people who just don't wanna leave the hotel for some reason if you're staying here at the Lakeside inn in Wakefield Massachusetts. The Lakeside Tavern is located inside the Lakeside Inn in Wakefield, Massachusetts. As soon as you enter the lobby, the entrance to the restaurant is on your left. Can't miss it. It is physically located at 595 North Avenue in Wakefield. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a generous and huge parking lot for anybody and everybody who wishes to come here to stay or dine. Or both. Please share the parking spaces with a few other commercial retailers in the vicinity. There is a bank nearby, if you need cash. There is actually public transportation service to and from the hotel into Boston. I did not know this until my most recent trip here and decided to save a little bit of money and ride the local bus service into downtown Boston from Wakefield. It was pretty cool. Don't recommend it if you are traveling in the evening and don't know where you are if you are a tourist. So yes, there is public transportation options to and from the hotel, and they will depend on your original destination, whether it is the Amtrak station or Boston Logan international airport in Boston. And with that said, they have a limited menu, so be prepared for anything they have. The prices here were decent for any restaurant in the area. But if you're desperate and hungry, it's kind of worth it, especially when you're staying at the hotel for the night and you're starving. Which is what my situation was at the time. It was a quick stop for dinner that ended up being something other than quick. But if you like the loud live music to decompress after a nice day of traveling or a hard day at the office, consider coming to the lakeside Tavern for a good meal and to decompress. I'm sure they have alcohol service here, but I did not want to drink so late at night. 3.5 stars for the overall experience, mostly for the slower than normal service. But it is pretty good 5.0 stars for the location, because I was staying here. Support local! C+

I especially keep an eye out for special events here because it's not only a great way to celebrate but also it usually entails an unlimited game play for a few hours (which I take advantage of to the fullest)! You can usually find some pretty good deals for game play outside of these events too (check their website/socials or a D&B location). I personally really like their half off games on Wednesdays and Sundays. While you usually find tons of kids at D&B, I've noticed at this location there's a good mix of older kids and young/working adults. There's a bar serving alcoholic drinks and tons of tables for dining and big screens to watch games. It's pretty clean inside and not a chaotic location at all.

I easily secured a same day bar seat reservation for 8PM. After checking in, was seated at a half empty downstairs bar. No physical menus, everything was done via a QR which is fine I guess, but for a spot that positions itself as a premiere bar a bit tacky. The online menu on the public website is the only menu and where the QR takes you. I asked for a spirits list (logical for a cocktail forward bar), I got a quizzical look and a shrug of the shoulders in return. Given the menu was only 8 cocktails, picking from those I started with the Beachcomber Mai Tai for a whopping $18. This, if it's the true spec, should be a rum forward cocktail with 2 1/2 oz of rum. They batch their cocktails (not a problem) so I couldn't see their build, but there is absolutely no way this drink is made to specification - my guess is they are skimping on rum as a cost play, batching lets them get away with it. Drink was, frankly, pretty forgettable - not bad, just unremarkable. Wanting to see how they could do off-menu, I asked the bartender to make me a Hemingway Daiquiri. Now, for a cocktail bar that has a long history of rum centric and tiki leaning cocktails, this should be an off the top of their head cocktail. It's simple - white rum, lime and grapefruit juice, and maraschino liqueur. Bartender had never heard of it before, and then spent a few minutes staring in to his phone presumably looking up the recipe. He built it using Rhum JM white rum which is absolutely the wrong rum for this drink - it needs a white Cuban rum (which we know we can't get in the U.S.), so the usual sub would be Bacardi, Planteray 3 stars, Probitas, or others. Definitely not a Martinique agricole. This may be a too detailed nit for some, but with the framing that this is supposed to be a premium cocktail bar, this is an error that should not happen, and not for $18. Figuring the third time might be a charm, ordered the Trader Vic 1944 Mai Tai. This is the classic, the standard against which all others are measured. It's a distinct recipe, especially if you call yours the 1944 Mai Tai. This was not that. It was again light on rum with probably the wrong rums used in their blend. It was also substantially over dosed with orgeat making the almond sweetness an almost overpowering flavor versus playing a subtle supporting actor role. Again, swing and a miss. Drinkable if you like sweet, and don't mind hefty almond. But if you want to try the real Mai Tai - this is not it. Overall, for the price, fairly indifferent bar service, lack of information available to the customer (e.g., spirits list, etc.), and fairly off the mark cocktails I think you can find far better spots right now for that same money. If you definitely want that tiki inspired cocktail vibe - your better bet will be places like Wusong Road in Cambridge or Shore Leave in Boston, and I'm sure there are others. Sorry Baldwin Bar, you've lost your edge and it shows.
