I think she said she has a background in nutrition. But regardless you can taste and experience someone who has put much thought and passion into the product she serves. I enjoyed a delicious chocolate protein cookie and a iced coffee. I like my coffee black and no additives. There is a different taste in Silver Heart's Coffee. It a good different though. After drinking the coffee I felt like a mental clarity. I thought nah I am just hyped on caffeine but it was seriously delicious and guilt-free. On top of that the cookie was pretty amazing! I see protein cookies often but only had tried one other prior to this. It wasn't chalky as I experience with many of my protein enhanced foods. It was smooth and easy chew. It didn't crumble as soon as I bit into it or opened the package... needless to say I enjoyed it. Overall the atmosphere that Alexis creates in addition to the tasty treats I give SilverHeart 5 stars! This location is in a big shopping plaza, funny enough right next to a Starbucks. Staff was really nice and welcoming! Very relaxed vibe inside with a large seating area. It is only open from 6:30AM to 12PM Monday through Friday so it's hard to get to especially if you don't work around the area. I just happened to be around the area and was able to try it out. I got a hot hazelnut latte on a cold foggy morning and it was delicious and a good balance of syrup and espresso. I usually don't care for anything extra in my latte but they definitely have a good list of seasonal flavors and their main flavors. I like how you can customize it to make your own flavors as well. I just opted for something simple and it came out good. The area around is the industrial part and seems like it would be a good place to get a pick me up if you're getting your car serviced or something. I like that they had seating even though that morning was a cold morning. I'd imagine it to be a lovely spot to have coffee and chat with a friend on a nice sunny morning. I love the coffee cart and the person who served me was very nice. I would definitely recommend and try this out again if I had the chance. The shop leans heavily into a Christian theme, and when I was there it felt more like a full-on Bible study environment than a casual coffee spot. Totally fine if that's what you're looking for, but it caught me off guard a bit. There was also a group of Incels nearby having a pretty intense conversation around religion and politics that made the atmosphere feel a little uncomfortable and hard to relax in. Bottom line: great product, just not a place I'd hang out in. I'd definitely come back--but I'd order ahead and take it to go next time.
