We have had numerous positive experiences with Temecula Construction over the years, including 2 major jobs. Most recently, our home had undergone damage from storms in January and February 2023. The damage incurred was to our roof, the stucco and paper on our turret causing leaking in the interior to dry wall in our turret and ceiling. I was impressed with the water testing of the turret and roof which was done to track down and fix the cause of the leaks. We decided to repair all the cracks in our Stucco on the entire exterior, and to paint the entire exterior with a special water repellent paint. Due to the circular shape of our turret the internal repair required custom work. Temecula Construction coordinated all the talented tradesmen to put our home in top top shape. Following the rain of the hurricane in August 2023 I felt compelled to share my good feelings of staying dry as a result of all the good work of Temecula construction. We had a great experience working with Temecula Construction in creating an ensuite Bathroom from the back half of the existing single car garage to my MIL's bedroom. Ivan took notes and listened to what we wanted to have with the bathroom as well as to extending her very small walk in closet. Gabe, Dale, and Pat, along with the rest of the crew and tradesmen, were professional and thorough in creating a beautiful bathroom. Her bedroom looks so much bigger with the attached bathroom, as if it had always been part of the original floor plan when the house was first built. We had a big project. We did a full kitchen renovation. What I mean by that is knocking walls down, building new walls, full cabinets, granite, electrical, plumbing, sink, all new appliances etc. big big job. What we really liked about Ivan and his guys is that they are friendly, full of great ideas, helpful, on time, roll with the punches, fair priced and just good guys. Ivan's right hand man Luke is freaking awesome. They went out of their way to accommodate us still loving here while they did the job. We have many dogs and other animals that they put up with and again rolled with the punches. Funny side note, we live in De Luz with a lot of property and with that comes many rattle snakes. One day while I was at work, Ivan calls me to tell me that a snake was in our front yard. Our dogs hang out in the front yard. Of course we freaked out. Ivan was good enough to corral the snake, and put it on a part of the property far away from the house. Yes, the snake lives on. I mean, that is above and beyond the call of duty for a contractor. I know because I am a contractor of different sorts. Our kitchen is now modern, roomy, and is really a showpiece for our house. We are ready to hire Temecula Construction to do two more big projects for us and I will have NO concerns hiring them. If you like quality, good communication, and on time delivery, hire these guys. I don't recommend anyone unless I know FOR SURE that they will do an outstanding job. Trust me, these are the right guys. I had Ivan out for a bid on a whole house fan. Unlike some of the other companies, he said he wanted to take a look in my attic before he would quote a price to make sure that the venting was sufficient. He did and it wasn't! That effort saved me a lot of wasted time and money compared to the companies who said "we will check it out on installation." While he was here, I showed him a number of windows that were inoperable. He diagnosed the problem, ordered replacement parts and installed everything promptly and professionally. We can't thank Ivan and Temecula Construction enough! We had a large pine tree come crashing down from our slope and destroy several sections of fencing between ours and the neighbor's yard. We wanted to have it taken care of right away and contacted several fence repair places. Ivan was the first to respond (and only one to respond same day!) and was able to come out that same day and give us a quote on the fence. He was even able to rearrange his job schedule to fit us in quickly! Our fence was made from hard-to-find custom cut boards, but he went so far as to make the custom cuts himself for us, and made sure to match the existing paint (even though it is more than 20 years old). As well, the original 20-year-old 4x4 fence posts were completely inundated with roots...lots and lots of roots, some very large. One large root (more than 2" in diameter) had actually growth THROUGH an underground portion of the 4x4 post! It took additional time and labor to clear out the area of roots in order to pour concrete for the posts, and he didn't even charge us extra for that. AND he even finished ahead of schedule. We can wholeheartedly recommend Temecula Construction. Ivan was professional, personable, explained everything to us and offered options. Remodeling is hard!! I dreaded this expensive and timely safety remodel that my husband and I had to do for our home. 11 weeks feels like a lifetime of drywall dust but even under those circumstances Temecula Construction is a company I can stand behind. We just had a shower remodeled by Ivan and Dale and we are very happy, not only with the results, but also with the process. I got multiple estimates and theirs was the same as others but with one major difference: They actually used a scratchcoat surround and not plastic and backerboard. Might not sound like a big deal, but what that basically means that if God forbid my house were to burn down, 2 things would be left standing: the chimney and this shower!
