Be warned -- room 242 does not have a working thermostat, and if you're staying in this room right now wondering why it's so damn cold, I'm sorry, I feel your pain. We stayed in room 242 earlier this week, in late December. It was 30 degrees out at night, and we noticed right away that our heater wasn't working. In fact, it looked like someone actually tore the thermostat out of the wall. We reported this to management and while they did send an engineer to look at it, they couldn't fix the problem. You'd think the obvious solution would have been to offer to switch us to a room with a working heater... but for whatever reason it wasn't so obvious to them. It was only after we pleaded with them that they let us switch to a warm room just two doors down at around 11:30pm. The next day, when we checked out, we reminded the front desk that it would be a good idea to fix the heater. The young woman working the desk was clearly disinterested in following up on the situation. We walked away feeling sorry for the unlucky souls that were going to get that room after us. And where the hell was our apology? Just know that you are definitely not paying for quality customer service if you stay here. read more

I agree with all the posts here that the service is good but the rooms are outdated and dirty. I stayed here thanksgiving weekend for a concert at pechanga. All hotels were sold out and this hotel was available and in close proximity. Pros: -close to pechanga. Just a 6 minute drive -right off pechanga parkway and easy to get to -friendly staff. I got to the hotel room early at 1pm. Check in is not till 4pm. They were able to accommodate my needs and get me into a non-smoking and pet free room by 2:30pm Cons: -expensive. Paid $229 a night. Not including tax and resort fee. Total cost for one night is $279 -outdated/old and falling apart. For $229 you would expect something comparable to the Westin but this was definitely not the Westin. The paint was chipping off the doors, the corners of the bathroom were dirty, the bathtub was chipped, furniture and carpet were old (see picture). -most importantly, this place is dirty! The corner of the bathroom was not swept or wiped. When we arrived, the sheets smelled of body odor and musk. It was clear that the bed sheets were not changed. We even found FRESH BLOOD stains on one of the bed sheets! (See picture). I called to complain and they sent housekeeping to change the bed sheets immediately for both beds around 5:30pm. When I came back to the room after the concert at 1am, I was disappointed to find that the "new" bed sheets had an old blood stain! I wonder what's going on with housekeeping and their cleaning service because the sheets aren't properly washed to remove stains. -walls are extremely thin and I heard a couple fight till 2:30am even with ear plugs in! When I checked out I complained to the front desk about the dirty bed sheets with blood. They acted shock like it was their first time hearing of such complaint and credited me $50 to my account. The entire stay would have cost me $279 but was lowered to $229 for the night. For its price, I would not stay here again. Too expensive, too dirty, and too noisy. read more

Overall underwhelming. If you're looking for apathetic, underachieving staff, this is the place for you. We were not informed that the pool area was under maintenance (and would be for the duration of our stay) until we arrived. Our room did not have its cable box for the tv, and the staff was unable to have one brought to our room. The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired as well. Definitely NOT worth your money, we would have been better off at a best western. read more

We have stayed here two times now. Once in the summer and now once over New Year's. Both times have been very comfortable. Our rooms have over looked the golf course which was great. New Year's there was a small bit of snow on the ground so it gave the rustic look an entirely different aura/environment to it. It reminded me of the set from White Christmas with Bing Crosby in a way. We will probably be back to stay again in the future. read more

We just stayed here for a wine tasting event over the weekend. The property is in a neighborhood, off from the main highway, and has a beautiful golf course. The rooms were nice and clean. Super large king size bed, a desk, a fridge, some easy chairs and plenty of room to get around. They also had sliding glass doors that opened to a patio in back, balcony if you're on the upper floors. Could the rooms use a little upgrade? Maybe but this isn't Vegas and the charm is that you felt as if you were up in the woods somewhere and away from everything. If I have to knock anything it would be that you can hear everyone walking on the upper floors, including the squeaky bed upstairs (Hubba Hubba!!). Other little things would be there is no Wi-Fi! They're still using the old ethernet cables which don't help if you use a tablet or Wi-Fi laptop. The coffee maker in the room was horrible. Tasted like watered down coffee and the coffee machines in the lobby were empty on both mornings! Also, my wife had spoken with someone on the phone and inquired about a government rate. They told her that it could be handled at check in but the young lady at the property said she didn't know anything about it and would not ask anyone after we told her about the phone conversation. The restaurant and bar on the property were very nice and had a great view of the golf course. The food was pretty good too. We didn't use any of the golf facilities, so I can't comment on that, but we had a nice time there and would return again in the future. read more

I didn't get a chance to check out the entire grounds, but I did love this place. The front desk staff were all very gracious and hospitable. We decided to upgrade to a suite which wasn't ready, but they let us keep our refrigerated goods in their fridge. They also let us set up a little wine and cheese picnic behind the lobby. Being on the border of Rainbow Creek though, we agreed that the inn should be called Rainbow Creek inn. Then they could have a unicorn as their logo. I would just love that :) read more

My husband and I got married at the beautiful Stonehouse at TCI. And everything was incredible!! The staff was so helpful and did an amazing job with our entire day! The food was delicious. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The chef created a special dessert for our guests because we didn't want a traditional wedding cake. They even took the time to set up a brunch the next day for our family and friends who stayed the night. I highly recommend TCI as your wedding venue destination!!!! read more

We stayed here because an emergency caused us to be without our home for a time period. The place sounds great and the golf course is beautiful but the rooms are mediocre. Sub par WiFi and cable TV. We booked the Temecula Creek Inn via the Living Social deal and it was just fabulous. The rooms were clean and spacious, each with a balcony over looking the golf course. We went wine tasting all day, checked in and then sat at the pool drinking a bottle of local wine until well after sunset. We were only scheduled for one night but liked it so much we stayed an extra night! It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway or girls weekend. PS. We stayed here one Saturday night for my daughter's soccer tournament at a field close by. The location is pretty quiet considering it's below the freeway. The 2 queen Standard room size is comfortable for four people. The grounds are beautiful and picturesque. Looks like all of the rooms have a view. Couple things need to be updated like painting the fences. We did not dine at the restaurant on site. The staff allowed us to bring food and drinks to the pool. The hotel felt clean, quiet and peaceful. We will come back again read more

I had my wedding at the Stone House this spring and it was perfect! The wedding coordinators did such a great job and understand how to help a bride (and her family) feel at ease. The place is lush green, up to date and well run. In a way it reminds me of a modern version the Inn in the movie Dirty Dancing. (the ladies would understand that reference) The food is amazing! The Temet Grill was very tasty and had a large menu. The rooms are large and modern with flat screen TVs and very comfy beds. I look forward to another visit.. maybe for a weekend wine tasting trip! read more

I have stayed at the Temecula Creek Inn twice now, and overall am very impressed with it. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly, and it's a very relaxing environment. My best friend got married there last year, and it was an absolutely GORGEOUS place for a wedding - if anyone is considering that, I would highly recommend. The pictures turned out amazing too. I went last weekend for Valentine's Day (a surprise from the BF) and they had a great package with a limo tour of the wineries. We had an amazing time and TCI put together a very nice package for us. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was just so-so. A bit disappointing. The only other thing that keeps this from 5 stars is the rooms in the old building are a bit dated and in need of some upgrades. If you stay in the new buildings, this is not the case. Temecula Creek Inn is a nice place to stay if you're looking for a golf package, wine tasting or reasonable pricing. It is a bit older style hotel but they've done some remodeling over the years. My wife and I had no problems with our room as it was spacious and the decor was ok. Our friends however found their room to be dirty upon arrival. They immediately asked to change rooms and were granted the request without any hassle. The grounds itself are very nice and one of the adjacent buildings includes a bar and restaurant. One thing I noticed is that the vanity counters were extremely high. I am 6' and it felt as though I was reaching to the counter top. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the light switches are insane. They are push buttons and sometimes they work, other times they don't. Believe me, it's a process. Appearance - 2 Service - 5 Price - 3 All in all a good place to spend a couple of nights. I think it is more of a buddy hotel where you can get up and get a round of golf and then enjoy a few post round drinks. read more

We had our annual team meeting here just recently and for the rate we paid for our rooms each night, this place was more than worth it. I'm not sure how it was negotiated or if it was a standard rate that Temecula Creek Inn goes with, but at $109 a night, I was incredibly impressed by the level of service, cleanliness, comfort and beauty of this place. Check in and out was a breeze; I had to check in late and they were very accommodating. The water pressure in the shower was awesome - if the hot water never went out, I would have totally missed my meetings each morning. My only complaint is that if you're a runner - there really isn't a safe place here to run. If you go down to the road, you risk getting run over by the fast cars coming down the mountain. If you try to run through the golf course, you could get a concussion from a speeding golf ball (my interpretation of what the guy who kicked me off the golf course told me). Plus, if they're filming a Japanese commercial, they don't really want a runner in the background of their shots. read more

We stayed here for a Valentine weekend. We come to Temecula to visit the wineries monthly and had never been to Temecula Creek Inn but always read good things. Their website images look nice and the price seemed aligned with the other places we have stayed in Temecula. On arrival to the room, the buildings look more like a motel lodge type place, similar to when we've stayed at rustic places at the Grand Canyon. The building is old, and the décor/furniture in the room is very outdated and worn. There was a nice 65" TV and some movie channels, but no web or app options so you can watch your streaming services. Most hotels have lamps with USB ports in them but not here - they have lamps that still have a phone jack; I guess so we can fax our order for room service. We ordered room service from Cork Fire Kitchen which is also supposedly highly rated. Our order arrived earlier than the given time but most of the food was cold and the requested condiments were not provided. Back to the room...the floors are not level, so much so that there are loose tiles when walking on them and the bathroom door gets stuck when opened halfway. The cosmetic mirror in the bathroom seems like it's barely hanging from one screw. The "luxury bedding" is a quilted liner sandwiched between two white sheets, no comforter, blanket, or even a coverlet. There were no wine glasses or a corkscrew which is pretty standard in wine country. We called for some wine glasses and had to call a second time when they didn't arrive after over 30 minutes. ALL the staff we dealt with were pleasant and we are not above staying at this "quality" of a place but only for the right price. At this price point, you are better off going to Churon or South Coast where there is at least a winery on the premises, breakfast is included, and the accommodations are much better appointed. read more

The only reason I give 2 stars is because they are me a credit and the hotel desk staff were helpful, especially the one working the night shift. The room was dirty. The bathroom had mold and dirt everywhere. The light between the beds did not work and the TV did not work well. The walls were so thin we could here everything and the person next door was yelling and screaming all night. We called the front and they did address it with the other guest and after 2 or 3 warnings, he finally was quiet. There was also termites. Overall I didn't pay much because of the credit, but I would never stay here again because it was too dirty. read more

This hotel is really nice stay while your in wine country. Their rooms are very comfy and overlook the golf course and mtns. Super comfy beds and they have Aveda products in your bathroom. The rooms have a very woody rustic look. Best deals are during the week when they give you wine packages which includes 4-5 winery tasting vouchers. FABULOUS! My BF and I don't splurge too often, but this was a groupon and included three wine tastings in the area so it seemed well worth it. How surprised were we that this is really a top notch spot. Gorgeous rooms, luxurious bedding, delicious soaps, fancy robes, a patio that opened up to the golf course with green, vibrant views. It felt like we had paid double what we really did. We dined at their in hotel restaurant which people supposedly travel to. It was pretty good. If I was reviewing the restaurant I'd give it 3 stars cause the waitress brought the wrong meal (lamb, when I ordered a salad??), and the portions are far smaller than the price and quality would presume...two stringy crabcakes about 1 inch in diameter for $15? Not so impressed. The breakfast however, was divine. We didn't even take advantage of their famous champagne brunch (had to drive back to San Diego) but we peeked in and it looked tasty and WORTH it. The only thing that was lacking was the customer service. Only one woman manning the front desk so it was quite a wait just to check in, and she didn't even give us a map of the area. I realized this after we had already returned to the car and had to go back in, wait, and ask for a map (annoying!). Checking out took a little bit of time as well, if you want your receipt. The pool is nice, and there's a sweet little hot tub there too. They were fine with us checking out and spending the day at the pool afterwards. The towels were supple and soft, and there were plenty of lounge chairs to sunbathe on. I stayed here for a business retreat. The grounds are great...all the greenery is tranquil and well maintained. I found all the staff to be social, eager to help and quite friendly. The food was AWESOME! I'm a veggie and they exceeded expectations. Some rooms definitely had better views than others (I had the jacuzzi view but most had the golf course). The walls are thin as mentioned in other posts and my AC unit was so loud when it shut off I would wake up in a panic, but all in all I would 100% come back again. My only REAL complaint was that the gym opens at 7:00. With an 8:00 business retreat start I could squeeze it in. read more

I am not sure if these other reviews stayed at the same Temecula Creek Inn I stayed at because the one my husband and I have stayed in twice now is amazing. We spent New Years Eve there and was again so glad we chose this place. Our room just like our last stay was lovely..5 star maybe not, but luxury was not what I wanted but a comfortable well supplied clean room which we got. It is perfect for 2 people bathroom very nice and clean with plenty of supplies and towels. Our room had a balcony which overlooked peaceful beautiful scenery. Very quite almost like your in the mountains. We had coffee and coffee maker in the room and 2 complementary bottles of water. and the Cork restaurant and bar had an amazing menu. We also received a full large bottle of Champagne and warm cookies to help ring in the New Year! They have a shuttle that shows up within 15 minutes to take you to Pechanga so no need to drive and park yourself, just have the bellboy call them when you want to leave the casino and they pick you up and bring you back to the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful and always available. It is definitely our spot whenever we are staying in Temecula! read more

The gorgeous photos on their web site hardly compares to their accommodations. And it's NOT a B&B. If you are traveling here solely to stay, I'd reconsider. Since we were here for a wedding, you can't beat the proximity to the room. The grounds are beautiful and provided a romantic backdrop for the wedding. A stone cottage surrounded by trees - makes me feel like I've traveled a lot further than Temecula. Food is scrumptious and beautifully catered. The rooms were...disappointing. It is obvious that they tried to renovate the rooms, but the outdoor hallways makes it feel motel-ish. It felt dark and a little dingy. The bed was comfortable and the wall-mounted plasma tv helps distract the eye. Rustic may be the word, but little charm. Oh - and if you are requesting a crib, don't. We ended up with a well-used pack-n-play 'cause their crib didn't assemble correctly. I felt bad for the kid and tried covering it with as much material to form a barrier from touching his skin. Still a little skeeved about that. Bottom line - great wedding...not so great rooms. read more

I'm not sure why people would give this place a bad review?? They were very clean, spacious and quiet. The restaurant on the premises had a VERY good breakfast. HIGHLY suggest you check that out. The staff was friendly and when we ordered towels they arrived within 5 minutes! I hesitate to give it 5 stars, only because we did have a bit of a drain issue in the shower. Nothing too awful, just VERY slow drains. Also, the fridge in the room didn't really keep things cool until we moved it away from the wall. I guess it needed to breathe? I recommend this place. The golf course is very nice here. They have 3 nine hole courses and each course has its good and bad. Our group made a reservation on Saturday, 2pm @ $45 and we were able to complete about 23 holes at normal pace. The course is well taken care of, however if you are inconsistent with your driver you may pay dearly for it on one of the courses. I would give it five stars however, there is a hole right next to the range where range balls are scattered all over the rough and fairway making it difficult to find your ball. Overall the layout of the course is nice and well taken care of. read more

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a nice weekend getaway. The room itself was nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable and we had everything we need. The best part was the complimentary wine happy hour provided by a local winery. We headed out to the open patio area and had a lot of cheese and crackers and wine. It was relaxing and beautiful and on Sunday we had brunch at their on-site restaurant overlooking the golf course. The food was great and service was very quick and friendly also. This hotel is a hidden little gem. I loved the grounds and all the beautiful trees. I went in the fall and it was lovely to see the turning leaves. Cork fire restaurant is fantastic and the views of the golf course is gorgeous. The staff is so accommodating, even allowing us to check in very early in the morning and sending a special gift to the room of my friends who were celebrating a birthday. We booked nine rooms to accommodate our wedding party so we all could be together and TCI did not disappoint. Not only were we all on the same floor but all our rooms were lined up next to each other which made it easy to coordinate everyone and prep for the big day. Parking was right outside our door and was never a problem! We had a long day ahead of us and room service was needed. We had a sweet young man bring us coffee and breakfast in the morning. He was so polite and very helpful. We decided to eat at their restaurant- Cork Fire Kitchen- the morning after the wedding and it was scrumptious! I was served up a fantastic Americano and the Bloody Mary's were grand! There is also a variety of selections to choose from on the menu. Definitely have a meal here when visiting! The grounds are beautiful and we had a lovely view of the golf course from our rooms. Clean. Nicely lit. Comfortable. Accommodating. I would defiantly stay here again! read more

We recently moved to Temecula. We found a hidden gem. This place is by far one of the nicest spots that we adore. It's a nice quiet cozy setting, that isn't loud. Everyone at bar and restaurant are very nice, especially Trevor.. We appreciate the excellent service. Thank you Trevor, for holding a tight ship.
