My husband and I really enjoyed YARD HOUSE. We had the Poke Nachos ( 5 STARS ) and 4 cheese Spinach dip ( 5 STARS ) The all cheese pizza was good but a little skimpy on the cheese. I'd say only 2/3 of the pizza had cheese on it. (3 STARS ) The seared ahi was ok. Personally, we prefer it raw and cold so searing took away some of the goodness. Ariana was our server. She is definitely a 5 STAR PLUS PLUS PLUS!!!!!! All in all, I would come back! Prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get during HAPPY HOUR. 3-6 M-F I would venture to say, a little pricey for me to pay full price. Absolutely Loved Yard House in Temecula Promenade! We had such a great experience at Yard House in Temecula Promenade! Parking was super easy -- you can park in the structure and enjoy a beautiful walk through the promenade (which I actually loved). We went during lunchtime and it was perfect -- no wait at all and we got seated outside right away. The outdoor seating was amazing with fresh air and such a great atmosphere. Our waitress was incredibly nice and very attentive. She took our order quickly, brought our drinks right away, and made sure everything was perfect. Now the food... WOW. The garlic shiitake noodles with Parmesan cheese were absolutely AMAZING -- so flavorful and comforting. I also ordered the poke nachos and they were delicious, especially the sauce they drizzle on top (so good!). And of course, the cheeseburger was bomb.com -- juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The customer service here is top tier -- everyone was friendly and welcoming, which really made the experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. The worst Yard House I've ever been to (and I've been to many.) Bartenders were basically incompetent unfortunately (all 3 of them) and didn't bother to check on us when we hadn't gotten our food after an hour. An entire hour. Or maybe even longer. We've been to this place several times, a lot of those times were during happy hour. We came after a late afternoon movie and missed the happy hour. Ordered the usual items anyway; ahi tuna (looked old and tasted old) as well as the fried calamari (dry and chewy), Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and beer. Yard House is an New American sports bar restaurant chain well known in the mainland US. I wasn't familiar with this establishment prior to moving to California, but happened to visit twice now. I highly recommend their weekday Happy Hours from 3-6pm, as their appetizers and pizzas are half-off; I ordered 2 items for under $30 with tip which was a steal. Appetizers: Poke Nachos (4/5): A bit of a spicy kick comes with jalapeños, nice blend of ahi tuna, sauce, and Wonton nachos. I feel that authentic corn chips would actually work better, so if Yard House changes their recipe I hope I can try again! Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds (5/5): My first time trying anything like it; imagine cheese sticks with less breading, surrounded by a thin crispy layer. Loved every bite. Entrees: Truffle Cheese Burger (4/5): A heavy, umami rich white cheese type of burger. Sauted mushrooms would have been a good add-on. Three Cheese Pizza (2.5/5): I thought it would have generous portions of cheese but the thin crust pizza was mostly tomato sauce. The server was kind enough to have the kitchen remake with extra cheese so the 2nd one was much better. I liked Yard House, despite not being a sports or a bar-type of person. Matt our server was fantastic and he made our experience a whole lot better. The calamari and wings were great appetizers. The lemon garlic wings were delicious. For our mains we had the Nashville hot sandwich and the 3 choice taco meal. The best taco was the fish, it was perfectly fried and flaky. There was an issue with one of birria tacos and Matt spoke to Leanne, the Manager, who made it right by bringing a new one and a carne asada taco as well. Again, the customer service was great! Most appetizers on their menu and pizzas are half off and everything is tasty. The seating was comfortable but I have a food allergy to dairy products and when I asked our server Carolina if the white rice was plain she stated yes that it was only rice. When I took a few bites something seemed off. I stopped eating and again asked our server letting her know it seemed off she stated she had to ask the manager. Turns out the rice was cook with butter. She took it off our tab but I was left feeling yucky the rest of the day. Every one else enjoyed their meal though but I won't be back as it is not suitable for dietary allergies. The disappointing part was I had to ask twice. I like the selection of beers they have here. I also like the diverse food choices here as well. They serve edamame which is interesting. My boy ordered a pizza which I thought was OK. My mother enjoyed her fish, but again, she loves being out with me so she enjoys most of everything! Lol The inside is pretty roomie and the outdoor has a lot of tables too. I've come to the Yard House a handful of times over the last few years and I'm surprised I have t written a review yet, but tonight's service by Darlene here was rockstar level, so a review is definitely in order. This was a Thursday night, and we didn't realize until we got here that meant the place would be packed for Thursday night football. We put out name in on the wait list thinking it would be an hour, but the host told us 40 mins, and we were seated in 28! So thank you! It was 4 of us, including my little guy, so the staff here so they had the foresight that we were definitely in need of a booth to keep him contained and in close quarters! We were seated with 2 minutes left in happy hour, and Darlene RAN over so we were able to order food (pizza for the kids) and an appetizer at happy hour prices.... REALLY stoked on that. But that is just one example of the amazing service Darlene provided throughout the night. Although EXTREMELY loud withjsoc and the bar atmosphere watching football, it was still good enough that we were able to talk at a normal level. I've been on a weight loss journey, so always watching my macros... I ordered the steak bowl and it was delicious and filling (500 calories And 41 grams of protein!). Being about five to six years since my last visit to the Temecula (mall) Yard House location, my (below average) rating has not changed. No worries, Yard House will continue to have full seats and many customers due to it's premium location right outside of the mall (from this visit, we were shocked at the high volume of mall traffic - America's malls are not dead or dying by any means!). My continued below average rating reasons: * Customer experience - upon check in we requested outdoor seating in a shaded area (which was plentiful), due to some members in our party being sun-sensitive; when seated directly in the sun, we had to "re-request" different seating. * Adult beverages - I believe that cost-cutting led everyone's drinks in our party to have been believed to contain very little, to no, alcohol content in each (also, when 3/4 of the glass is ice already, was obviously a waste of money for these expensive beverages. * Food - the former great garlic noodles were once made with an assumed authentic Asian-type noodle. Now, it appeared to be standard spaghetti noodles - ours came with someone else's hair in the dish, so we returned them anyway. The fish 'n chips (ouch) - at first sight, they looked impressive. But once biting into every piece of fish, realized that (NO exaggeration) the consistency was about 80% breading and only 20% being actual fish (semi-blurry picture attached showing the leftovers we brought home, then discarded); also, the menu claimed that this menu item comes with cocktail sauce but we were told they only have a marinara sauce that is offered. To say the least, we were completely unimpressed by this visit. Maybe a revisit in another five to six years will reveal what has or has not changed... read more

He was okay, not very cheerful or anything, he tried to add some chicken wings and a random game to our bill which was odd and we told him we didn't order those things. had a very disappointing experience at this location and honestly expected much better given the reputation of Yard House. From the beginning, the service set the tone in a negative way. Our female server came off rude and impatient when I was simply trying to order a drink. Instead of being welcoming, it felt like we were an inconvenience. After that, the service didn't improve--she was barely attentive, rarely checked on us, and we had to wait longer than expected for basic things. The drinks were another major issue. The beer we were served was very flat, lacking carbonation and freshness. On top of that, it seemed like they tried to serve us a beer that was mostly foam, which is unacceptable--especially for a place known for its large beer selection. What concerns me the most is that both my friend and I felt sick afterward, which raises serious questions about the quality or handling of the drinks/food. That alone makes it hard to trust coming back. Overall, between the poor service, low-quality drinks, and getting sick afterward, this was not a good experience. Yard House promotes itself as a top spot for beer and dining, but this visit fell far short of that standard. I wouldn't recommend this location based on this experience. read more
