I have a business in Atascadero and was having trouble with my double front doors opening up for my customers and then slamming shut as they entered inside. Definitely a liability issue. Wow! What an incredible company to work with! I had just completed the shower tile for our neo angle shower and it was time to get the glass put in. I gave rough dimensions, glass thickness, and trim style/color and sent out a few emails to get 'ballpark' estimates. I got a email response from Kelly in a very timely matter with a list of options I had requested. She had everything laid out with different options available with the price listed for each additional option. Other local glass companies eventually got back to me with estimates, but Kelly's quick response and competitive pricing really won us over. My family took a cruise to their showroom to look at different glass styles, trim, and new windows for our bedroom. Kelly was very knowledgable and I could tell she knows this business. Dan came out to get exact measurements for the glass. And guess what? The price was actually lower than what I was quoted because Dan's measurements were more accurate compared to my rough measurements. I saw another reviewer write about the price going up because of wrong measurements. Well duh, obviously if your (or your contractor's) measurements are short and the size needs to increase the price is also going to increase. I work in construction (Electrician) and have a very good idea of how jobs should be done and what steps are are necessary to get the job done. Right. Dan came over to do the install and noticed it was our little ones nap time. He did a great job tip toeing down the hallway to get the job done. When he was finished I checked out his work and wow! I spent a lot of time making sure the tile was installed square and level. When I was finished, I was really happy with the result. Looking at Dan's work, I could really tell he takes pride in his work. Everything was installed properly and was cleaned up ready for us to enjoy. I have to mention that although more expensive glass options were available. It was actually recommended by Kelly to get the cheaper option for our shower. They absolutely don't try to up sell you. Dan actually recommended not replacing the windows because they are still in good condition. I also have to mention that we moved to Atascadero from Morro Bay and if 'Charley C' has reviewed it, it must be good! Templeton Glass is now our 'go to' glass company. read more

We had Templeton Glass install a new sliding glass door - it was an installation that required more than just slotting in a new door, as the old door leaked and had some funky construction going on around the frame. Templeton Glass came out and took a serious look, talked to us about how they planned to handle the job, and gave us a very reasonable quote. They did a great job with installation, cleaned the place up after themselves and were in and out in no time. Now we have a great-looking door. Called them at 9 am Monday and got scheduled in for the following Monday, then got a call back that same morning from Kelly (which was very pleasant to schedule with) and said they could be at my house within 15 minutes. Got to my house at 11 am and was done fixing my window at 11:20! I had called 2 other companies last week and never received a call back from either place! I ordered bathroom mirrors for our remodel and one of them were delivered shattered. I wanted to get another but the warehouse was out of them and could only refund me. I was determined to have this mirror so I desperately searched for a place with a reasonable price to replace the mirror in the frame. One place wanted to charge me more than what I paid for the mirror. I am soo thankful for Templeton Glass as they only charged me $70, they had it done within 2 days and it looks great! The two ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. When I picked up my mirror the blonde lady (I apologize, I'm horrible with names) was soo sweet to us and my 19 month old Son. She gave him balloons from her decorations she had for a co-workers birthday. My son was thrilled! Today I was around the area early morning so I figured I would walk in and see what Templeton Glass was all about. I do definitely need some upgrades and repairs on my windows at home but I figured I would just walk in and look around. The lady at front politely asked if I needed help politely I responded I wanted to look around. Then out from behind came this rude lady kicking me out saying she knew our kind or some weird thing like that and I needed to go. So based from what I could make out there's been some robbery in the area and she assumed I was snooping the place out. Well It's pretty bad when someone assumes and judges someone with out getting to know the person. I guess I could understand her concern for her business but wouldn't someone reasonable approach another human being in a more positive approach. read more

I own a large estate home in Paso Robles having built it in 1999. The windows were high end Pozzi casements. Over the years many of the seals failed and i was able to acquire a few replacements under warranty. Summer of 2018 I hired Templeton Glass to install them and work up a price and schedule to repair the rest of the units that had failed. They were quick to do the easy part and bill me, saying were working on the rest of them to either replace or repair and will check for possible warranty help. 7 months later I finally called them and explained my problem which has gotten worse. The girl said she would have someone call. Nothing. A week went by and I went into their office and tried to get some help. The woman made excuses and said sorry they couldnt get the warranty work which I had already told them and all I needed was to get them fixed. I told her a company is no better then their word and at the least they should have followed up and contacted me if they decided they didnt want the job. I pointed out their slogan which speaks to this type of window repair. I asked the manager, "am I just supposed to live with this problem with windows that are getting hard to see out of? Moisture and stains, dripping water between the panels". The manager opened the door and ordered me to leave.? I had called Paso Robles Glass prior to this and never even got a return call. Typical North SLO county amateurs. Customer service is available if you have a simple no brainer job. If it gets complicated FORGET this company. I have. read more

I just had a great experience with Dan who installed some replacement glass in one of our sliding doors. He was really friendly and kind to my 3 year old son who was very interested in what he was doing, but he also worked in a timely manner. He reassured me that the rest of our slider was in good shape in not in need of replacement, so I value his honesty to not tell me otherwise to get us to spend unnecessary money.
