They were going to charge me an extra $12 for the outline of Crayon Shin-Chan's face that I requested. They're from the brand Neaves that is located in the same storefront. I ordered off Fantuan and tried their pomelo avocado and kale drink. I want to preface by saying that I probably should've tried the drinks in their original form (100% sweetness) but in my attempt to be healthy, I opted for 30% and 0%. While I thought it was an okay amount of sweetness. It definitely made the drink go from a sweet treat to a health drink. My friend on the other hand, thought it was not sweet enough. Honestly would it taste better with more sugar? Probably. I'll say you can go 50% and up. Maybe even try the full 100% sugar. The place has beautiful décor and feels warm and cozy. I ordered a Pistachio Cream Crêpe and Chocolate Baklava. Both were delicious, beautifully presented, and served on elegant wooden boards. The crêpe looked like a piece of art you didn't want to ruin. The portion, especially the amount of pistachio cream, was so generous that I couldn't finish it on my own even though I love crêpes. The service was quick and friendly, and overall, I certainly recommend Chocolate Connects as a great spot for dessert.
