The naan itself was also not too greasy, and the garlic flavor was very aromatic. You could also taste a hint of the slight tartness from (I'm assuming) the yogurt used to make the naan. The "C" Chicken Momos came with eight large pieces, which is definitely enough to fill you up. The sauce tasted like a classic sweet-and-sour sauce with a very mild and pleasant spice. Also, because the dumplings were fried, they were crispy despite being covered in sauce, but still had a bit of the nice chew you would get from a steamed momo skin. The fillings themselves were also super flavorful: you get a herbal and fresh taste from the ginger, which balanced the tanginess of the sauce so the meal did not feel too heavy, and the subtle nuttiness and pepperiness of cumin in each bite. The dumplings also had some warm broth in them, which is perfect for a cold day. The prices are fair too. You can often find small discounts on Snackpass or delivery apps like GrubHub. I chose a chicken sandwich and it was the worst sandwich I have ever tasted, I bit into it and it was tasteless, but not only was it tasteless, it dripped an excessive amount of grease!!! Healthy? I think not! Sad part about it is that the food wasn't the only thing that was wrong with this place, the employees have no proper hygiene training, I witnessed an employee handle a sandwich after she had just put her phone away!! I was looking at the menu at the waiting line and 5 different people asked me if I was ready, talk about pressure.. this restaurant isn't ready, far from ready, they have a lot of work to do! This review is for the Berkeley location only. Tender Green was my go to lunch place in San Francisco pre covid. So I know their portions tend to be small. Today I was hungry. So I ordered double portion of Tuna from the Bakery location and for both sides, I ordered roasted vegetables. So I should have gotten 2 portions of Tuna and 2 portions of roasted vegetables. With tips and tax, I paid $28 Look at the attached picture. Does that look like double portion of tuna or double portion of vegetable? Should anybody have to pay $28 for this? This restaurant is a hidden gem in berkeley, from the outside it is very deceiving because as soon as you walk in it's modern and edgy. I had lunch with a friend here 2 days ago and the food was great, I'm actually sad I didn't get a photo of my meal! I had a plate with steak, mash potatoes and a Romaine hearts salad. To say the l least it was as delicious as can be and very fulfilling. Going to the theater is expensive enough, so how to not break the bank for a quick bite before the curtain. If we head to the Aurora or Berkeley Rep, this place is a sure shot for a relatively inexpensive and tasty meal. It's nothing fancy. But sometimes, you just want to be sated. And you don't want to have to wait too long. The fried chicken sandwich and roasted tomato soup, which usually do the trick, but if it's a longer play and you don't wanna pass out in the second act, the salads are rock solid good. read more

Didn't provide utensils on my bag even after i asked if there were in the bag. They claimed that there should be 2 utensils in the bag, so i trusted them since the bag was stapled shut. This place needs to seriously work on proper food handling procedures and using fresh ingredients. I have walked in there twice and have witness people sneezing in their hands and not washing it after. I also have received fruit that was old so many times. It's a perfect choice when ordering for groups, since they have so many varied flavors and vegetarian options. It's great that CPH has spread its wings (proverbial; I haven't tried their wings) across the bay and elsewhere. 15 years ago, we had to travel to Pizza and Curry in Fremont, which was fantastic but not particularly close. Also, the last time we ordered, they had the option of making the pizza into a heart! It probably resulted in a smaller pizza, but it was absolutely worth it.

So me and my son door dashed food from here and once "delivered" it was... not there. So basically someone stole it. Yikes. Me and girlfriend head over there to figure out why we didn't get the food. But when we go to this place they ACCUSE ME of stealing the food even after I showed them the order and everything and what not so we had to wait for the next door dasher to literally hand me the food. Two grown men yelling at two young ladies. Totally rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to a lot of people. Ambiance wasn't, food was extremely disappointing, and expensive.
