    Garlic fries

For a second I was thinking maybe this is better in person but I see the reviews are mixed and in person people are experiencing the same things I did as a delivered order. The loaded fries were super old tasting and very dry and stale and the raw garlic did not taste fresh. The gyro was loaded with onion and the meat was dry and the pita tasted old but I refuse to waste food. I was told it tasted better last time it was ordered by my friend so maybe this was just a bad day where food was sitting for too long but I'm not going to be trying this again. There's a spot on the corner of Hearst and Euclid that is so good and the staff are extremely friendly. I will make the trek and go there.

This review is based on a pick up order for a catered lunch. We placed an order from Nick the Greek, it included: rice, pita bread, Greek salad, chicken, falafel, tzatziki sauce and Greek salad dressing. We placed an order to feed 18 people and the the servings were hearty. Everyone really enjoyed the food and we would definitely order from them again. For our order with tax and tip it cost $431.

The lady at the front is very nice and helpful! However I am just really disappointed that I am spending this much on a gyro for literally 6x fries. At first they forgot the fries on the first order, I went back and when I checked it I saw it, but starting to eat, and there is literally only 6x fries on the whole gyro! I try not to be petty on things like this, but 6x fries on a gyro, for $15 is actually crazy! This is literally my LAST time spending my money there! Please count the fries on the gyro.. literally only 6x!

One of the monthly benefits AMEX Platinum card holders receive is a $15 Uber Eats credit. I was scrolling through the deals section in the Uber Eats app and found that Nick The Greek had a BOGO offer on their Gyro Bowl. Two bowls for only a few dollars after the $15 credit is applied is an absolute steal. After I placed my order, I was told my order would take between 30 - 40 minutes to fulfill. However, by the time I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later, the food was ready on the counter. The gyro bowl itself is fantastic. The slices of lamb/beef are tender, nicely seasoned, and you receive a very generous portion. I like the option to have the sauces on the side. The yogurt-based white sauce goes well with everything in the bowl, from the fresh lettuce greens to the yellow rice. Make sure you dig deep to the bottom of the bowl to get the rice, otherwise, you might mistaken your order for a salad bowl. Overall, Nick the Greek exceeded my expectations for something available on Uber Eats. Definitely would recommend taking advantage of this deal while its around.

Is there some sort of rice shortage going on at this location? Last time we ordered there was barely any rice in the bowl so this time we ordered a whole separate side in order to get full and they gave us this sad excuse. The box is about 1/4 full. About 5 bites full for $5. Cant understand the stinginess smh.

First I'd like to start by saying I was genuinely excited to get this food at first. I wanted good mediterranean food, and that's not what I got here. The flavor for everything was really off. Tasted more like a mex-tex seasoning instead. I got their advertised steak bowl, while my friend got a chicken one, and we shared a fries. The portion size for the fries was good, but everything else wasn't. The steak bowl itself had barely any pieces of steak in it, I felt compelled to ask for a refund because it felt borderline offensive. I paid 15+ for a STEAK bowl with only a couple pieces of steak ?? they're already a bar behind even Chipotle on this matter. Truthfully, the only thing my friend and I got close to finishing were the loaded fries, the only semi-close thing to being redeemable. The worker that attended us in front, this slightly older hispanic woman (and I mention this because the cook in the back asked her what's wrong in Spanish, after she looked annoyed over issuing the refund, but I could tell she didn't want to say anything in case I also spoke Spanish). Odd. The ambiance was quiet and semi clean. No customers were in there when we came but a few came after. It was a weird shop. Wouldn't come back here again. A redeeming quality was their spicy sauce and another one they had that I forgot the name of.

I was here for the grand opening back in January (yes I'm late)- and it didn't disappoint. This is a franchise and this location is downtown Berkeley near campus so it's convenient for anyone working/living in the area. Here's the deets: PARKING: Street if you can find it but also close to all sorts of transportation (bus, BART, etc.) FOOD: I ordered the falafel bowl which came with basmati rice, cucumbers, lettuce, onions, tomato and tzatziki. I also ordered the Greek fries which came with garlic. Fries were crispy like I enjoy and nicely seasoned. All the ingredients in the bowl were fresh and tasty. SEATING: There's indoor seating (not a lot) but if you can snag a table- do so. Overall, fresh food and it's tasty. Check it out!

Stopped in for a bite to eat. Not an impressive place when you walk in- but the food and service were great! Ordered the gyro bowl and hummus with pita. Wow! A lot of food! Hummus was creamy with a little zest. The gyro bowl was huge! Ingredients were very fresh.

It is very clear that something is wrong with Everytable's systems. Furthermore, it seems very obvious to me that the support responses I receive are AI generated. While I receive refunds, there is clearly no human element understanding how to escalate issues or actually solve problems. Well this is the future of AI services, folks. Lower prices by eliminating human employees, then provide garbage services that don't work and fake support that does the absolute bare minimum of refunding charges after complete failures. There is no one behind the curtain to understand when an issue has reached the point of unreasonable failure; they don't care about ruining their reputation with customers for a lifetime because there is no one there to care. Both are great, but I like Poke Bar more as I feel you get more protein and food for the price, super fresh fish (cut smaller than Wow, but feels like I am getting more, plus I have the option of asking for tofu as an option!). I love all of the add-ins (fried garlic goes great with fish and is so good without being too overpowering, far less overpowering than fried onions), the sauces are great, I like being able to have brown rice without being charged extra (ahem, Wow Lemonade ;) ), the seaweed salad is delicious and the food was so good that right after I took the first bite I made an audible sound and rolled my eyes it was so good. I had to be chill about it, but dang, Poke Bar rocks! I also like that it is a tiny bit more affordable, and you get more food for the price. So much food that I wasn't able to finish my medium-sized bowl. Only detractor is that I wish their krab was krab salad and not just krab. And I wish that as far as two sides go, that I could get two sides of krab and just mix in one of their sauces and some wasabi and make my own krab salad. Only negative about the place is that they don't offer bags with handles, just regular brown smaller grocery bags. So, if they stepped it up a notch and had branded bags I think that would help to promote their business more since they are located in a somewhat out-of-the-way spot. Definitely come and check this place out. Super fast service, okay seating, great, great, GREAT fresh fish, and such an umami flavor. Tip: get a mix of white and brown rice to make it a tad bit healthier and get some more fiber (if you don't want to go fully salad style and get greens. Or be wild and get all three options as the base!).

I think I just discovered my favorite restaraunt of all time in Berkeley. Though the exterior of…read morethe restaraunt is unassuming, and the building itself is quite small with limited seating, the interior is still very clean and neat, and the workers are very nice. I placed an online order for the C Chicken Momos and the Garlic Cheese Naan, which were both phenomenal. The naan was some of the best I've ever had. It was so fluffy, thick, and pillowy soft, and was not overly charred/thin or too crispy like other naan. Just pure doughy goodness. There was also a perfect amount of cheese filling--enough that you got the subtle kick of milky acidity, but not too overpowering. The naan itself was also not too greasy, and the garlic flavor was very aromatic. You could also taste a hint of the slight tartness from (I'm assuming) the yogurt used to make the naan. The "C" Chicken Momos came with eight large pieces, which is definitely enough to fill you up. The sauce tasted like a classic sweet-and-sour sauce with a very mild and pleasant spice. Also, because the dumplings were fried, they were crispy despite being covered in sauce, but still had a bit of the nice chew you would get from a steamed momo skin. The fillings themselves were also super flavorful: you get a herbal and fresh taste from the ginger, which balanced the tanginess of the sauce so the meal did not feel too heavy, and the subtle nuttiness and pepperiness of cumin in each bite. The dumplings also had some warm broth in them, which is perfect for a cold day. The prices are fair too. You can often find small discounts on Snackpass or delivery apps like GrubHub. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back. Totally recommend!
