Pork Katsu Bento Box, crazy Salmon Roll, Miso Soup
    Kheyt C.

Ordered through UberEats. Trying to find a go-to katsu place. Boyfie and I both got the pork katsu box, plus the crazy salmon roll for me. About the pork katsu box. Portions are amazing; very filling plus even had leftovers. However the katsu pretty much tastes like breading, the breading falls off the pork easily, and the sauce it comes with almost tastes like barbecue sauce?? I'm used to teriyaki so I ate it with sauce from home. Miso was just okay. Salad had the perfect amount of dressing to my liking, but had some kind of aftertaste? (it tasted better the next day). My favorite part of the box was the shumai. About the crazy salmon roll. All that "fried onion" on top ended up being put aside (and this is from someone who LOVES onions) because all you could taste with the sushi is how oily and soggy the onions were. The roll was better without. But the portions in that roll was amazing too. About the FREE edamame (free if you reach a certain amount of purchases in UberEats). It was SPICY. I love spicy so that was good. Long review short, look elsewhere if ur looking for quality katsu, but try this place if ur looking to get filled up.

If you aren't looking you'll definitely miss it. It's hidden at the edge of a plaza surrounded by other plazas with lots of stores taking the main views. The first few times we went this place was spotless and clean. Unfortunately this last time you could see the wear and tear of the establishment. They've expanded their menu offering Cajun and creole items now as well as the usual Asian themed food. They're prices used to be great, big portions and wonderful prices but as with the rest of Orlando they've raised a bit. So now the prices are just ok feel pretty much equal to the meal. The bento box was still a great choice. The ramen was a bit of a letdown. It was filled with way more than expected ginger that was tough and didn't have a fresh flavor.

Tenji is a go to spot for me, I would say I go here about once a week or so. My girlfriend loves their sushi, and I'm a big fan of their hibachi entrees. I got a really nice Yakisoba entree this ginaround and it was fantastic. I also really enjoy their springs Rolls and gyoza. They use really fresh veggies, and everything is very tasty. I can't wit to try out some of their new additions to the menu.

5 pieces of sushi for 11 Dollars.... Not worth it... and then they charged extra for a bit of spicy mayo and eel sauce.

    Chicken hibachi lunch

This is a pretty good quick service hibachi option. The prices are very reasonable. You can get a hibachi lunch that comes with rice, veggies, your choice of meat, and soup for about $8. I ordered the chicken hibachi lunch and a spicy tuna roll. The sushi roll was decent though pretty small. The miso soup was nothing special. The hibachi lunch itself is pretty good. The portion is large and there's a nice variety of veggies. I will say the chicken is bland on its own, but the sauce provided is tasty and adds flavor. I like the fried rice; it has a really nice taste and isn't overly greasy. This definitely isn't the best hibachi style food in town, but if you want something quick and less expensive it's a good option. I would go back again to try one of their noodle dishes.

It's a convenient little spot. The food is good and the service, as well. The sushi is pretty good, too.

They have great lunch specials and the ambiance is elevated and chic. The service is always quick and top-notch. I'm always surprised by how many people have not been here yet. I guess it's kind of a hidden gem (hidden in plain sight). Parking is easy in the covered garage around back and a big plus that they're open on Mondays. I always struggle to find good lunch spots open on Mondays. I love their NY strip hibachi lunch with noodles and veggies. My favorite apps are the hamachi kamikaze and the tataki (beef or tuna). You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu here!

However, the ginger salad was delicious! Hubs got a bento box with the teriyaki chicken and it was dry and over cooked as well. The noodles had good flavor. Our server seemed to get busy after delivering our food so we couldn't really bring the issue up to him since it took awhile for him to come back. Overall we were really underwhelmed with this place after all the great reviews.

I think the all you can eat option is about $39 per adult and you can sit at a booth. If you are coming hungry, expect a wait. You will wait in line even with a reservation. You will wait once you are seated for them to take your drink order. You will wait again to order your food. Once your food is ordered they bring you soup, then a wait for the salad, and then finally your Hibachi chef comes out and the show begins. If you do come hungry, order an app or Sushi, but I promise you if you do that you will have leftovers to take home because they give good portions. There is a Groupon to go here which explains the long lines, even with a reservation. In reality it is $38 for 2 instead of a little under $44 so you are saving something. You can either choose chicken or steak and anything else is like a $10 upcharge which is not too bad. They start you off with a broth with some mushrooms in it. Is is kind of an onion bas and was super hot. It had limited flavor, but it worked. Next came the salad. It was decent. The Hibachi chef gave a great show and food was cooked to deliciousness. Had the steak medium. It was cooked perfectly, really tender, and had the right amount of spice. The veggies and steak were worth it by themselves. And with all the fried rice and noodles, definitely had a to go box. Besides the wait, the biggest minus was the men's restroom, which was really nasty. It was dusty, had a slight odor, and it looks like they sprayed the whole thing down with a hose and never wiped anything dry. The dust really threw me off, which made me worry about what was going on where the food is stored. I shutter to think. As an after thought, I have been to dive bars with cleaner restrooms. Could have given a solid 3.5 stars for the food and hibachi entertainment, but those restrooms... yuck!
