    Fried dumplings

I tried this place out back in December with my sister. The food was okay. Nothing memorable. I wouldn't go back. We ordered a few sushi rolls, fried dumplings and the pork belly. The pork belly was really disappointing. The sushi was okay. The service was fine. Host took us to our table and the waiter took our order. Nothing memorable about the entire experience. There are many other asian places to visit in this part of town that will be a better dining experience.

Very nice very upscale have good. Happy hour and lunch specials, host is really nice and greets customers real well!

Probably one of the worst sushi restaurants I've been too. It's a shame because the restaurant is in such a great location, but the food is completely underwhelming. We ordered 4 rolls, cocktails, miso soup, and an appetizer sampler. The best item was by far the miso soup. The rolls were completely underwhelming, and the cocktails were not consistent. I ordered two of the same drinks and they were both very different in the ingredient ratios.

I love the food. Very unique spin on Thai and Japanese inspired cuisines! The service is fast and accurate. It's a diamond in the rough that not too many people know about. So it's not watered down and over crowded. Nice sit down restaurant with a cosy atmosphere.

Great time here! Husband and I went for the happy hour which is 5-7pm everyday. We got the volcano roll, crazy yellowtail roll, bikkuri special roll (asked for it to not be fried) and 2 pieces of the salmon nigiri...we also got the 2-4-1 cold saké. Everything was fresh and delicious! It came out super quick too. We got there around 6:15 pm and we were a little worried that we wouldn't have enough time for the happy hour but we actually were leaving by 7:05 pm full of food and happy! The prices were great and you really can't beat 2-4-1 drinks! Our server was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The vibe is super cool. You go up some stairs and suddenly you're on a 2nd floor restaurant! We were seated right next to the window which was really lovely because we got to see the city from the window. Music was like early 2000's genre which I loved. Definitely a hidden gem but worth a try! Will be back.

Catering review. The service here is amazing! It didn't take too long for me to receive a phone call about my catering inquiry. They called to confirm what my budget was, my wants (in terms of type of sushi) and the occasion. My inquiry ended being an order and I was completely satisfied by the price and sushi selection they offered! For what I ordered, they even added some appetizers at no charge! If you want sushi catering for your next event, choose BIKKURI!!! You won't be disappointed!

I'm a little thrown off by the poor reviews. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. Hidden gym, super cool ambience, friendly and welcoming staff, very clean. The menu is super extensive and you can tell it's authentic Japanese cuisine. My boyfriend ordered the Japanese golden curry (he orders curry everywhere) and yes, it was different because it was Japanese curry, but he LOVED IT. He described it as perfectly portioned, perfect heat level , perfect flavors, and evenly packed with vegetables and protein! I ordered the Living Color sushi roll with black truffle sauce. It was super good. The house salad with homemade sauce was also amazing and the lettuce was just so fresh- our server grows the lettuce! Chicken gyoza was amazing too. This place is such a HIDDEN GEM. great happy hour deals too! Blake, our server, was awesome. We will be back! Music was so my jam, too.

Super cute Sushi restaurant! Hidden away upstairs it feels relaxing and exclusive. Their happy hour is SO GOOD. Great sushi prices, and their drink prices are hard to beat. The service seemed a little understaffed so it took some time to get our order in but everyone was very kind. Their purple haze hot sake is my favorite thing I ordered They also do parties on the weekend and play this incredible techno Japanese style music. I will be back regularly!

My family and I love Bikkuri. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is always clean and we have been fortunate to never have too long of a wait when we go. I have heard they have a great happy hour, but I've never done that! There offer a large variety of rolls. Our server was able to give great recommendations. We loved the Cajun Lobster roll because it just had a unique flavor profile. The dancing yellow tail roll was also very good. I have had their lychee martini in the past and it is delicious. I always love coming back to Bikkuri!

Overall: First time here, the happy hour menu was nice to save a few bucks. The sushi was fresh and tasty. We would go back again. They have private parking lot and a full bar. Appetizer: Spicy garlic edamame. Id have to say the biggest disappointment in nearly all ways. The portion was very small, and the garlic and spice seemed like an afterthought and not really on the edamame(and was an upcharge). The edamame itself was cooked well though. Main course: We ordered the Crazy Yellowtail Roll, spicy tuna, kimchi and hurricane rolls. We enjoyed them all and all tasted like fresh fish, most importantly. We would recommend trying any or all of them. Side note: Alot of rolls had krab or shrimp, but we were happy with our selections. Service: Service was average, to be honest I think it was just our server the other servers seemed more energetic and attentive.

My husband took me here for my birthday. A large variety of veggie and vegan options. We opted for the fried tofu udon and two rolls! the service was friendly and kind. the restaurant is small, but since most all tables are next to the window, you have a nice view of colonial to people watch which you eat. would return.

What helped set this experience out was our server, Pete. He was very friendly, had a great sense of humor, and was open to offer honest suggestions to make sure we had an enjoyable dining experience. The first thing about Bikkuri is the entrance, you'll probably find it unique as it is located on the second floor. We happened to time it right where they had their happy hour going on (5pm-7pm) where there are 2/1 drinks and an assortment of appetizers and rolls. This is where things did begin to get a bit misleading, and pricing is something they should attend to. Some of the items the normal price is actually the same as the happy hour and were placed there to give the allure of more items being discounted than they are. For example the Kampyo roll is normally $3.99 and priced as being a happy hour special at $4. With that out of the way, how's the food and drink? The rolls/nigiri were excellent! They offer a large variety and everything seems to be freshly prepared to order. Their ramen was nothing to write home about, but their apps (tempura, karokke, Rangoon) were very good as well. Overall it's worth stopping in-the service was excellent and the sushi as well. Definitely worth giving them a try if you've ever been curious about the "restaurant upstairs"!

The ambiance is a little dark inside, but it gives the place a fun, laid back vibe. My only suggestion would be to offer their lunch specials for online ordering. Since they don't take phone orders, anyone with a short lunch break has to place their order in person and wait, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially when you don't know how busy they are. Overall, it's a great spot with tasty food, a unique atmosphere, and a clean, welcoming environment. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

Stopped by for a quick lunch with my mom. This place was pretty easy to find. You can park along…read morethe street or in the garage which it is attached to. They have a little sign by the street to help you find it/advertising, as it's in the hallway of the plaza. It's on the ground level so we didn't have to take any stairs or elevator. Upon entry, there was no one to greet us. We headed to the register where they had a bunch of menus and pictures. While we were looking, the lady came out from the back with food items for someone who was already seated. Everything looked good. There was a guy waiting for his order to go, another guy waiting to eat by himself, and another lady also waiting to eat by herself. There was some interview going on between two guys- sounded like it was about the restaurant as I heard them talking about kimchi fried rice. It sounded so good, I ordered that with shrimp. Mom had the bento box lunch. We asked for two cups for water, which she said she would bring to us. We sat for awhile, and saw the others and the to go person get their food. The water cups did not come until after she brought us our food. Maybe that's the way they do it? Anyhow- our food was out in a reasonable time and everything was delicious. I tried some of mom's beef bento box- she got the bulgogi beef and we were both a little shocked that it was ground beef and not thin slices, but the flavor was spot on. My mom did not finish her lunch and I had a small portion of rice left. When I asked for one to go box- the lady almost seemed upset that I didn't want two! She asked me what about my leftovers? To which I said my mom was taking everything in one box. lol. We don't like to waste and I wasn't going to toss mine but it seemed silly to get another box for the little bit of rice I had. So we put it all in one. We paid at the register and took our box. There are many more items on the menu I'd like to try. My mom was pretty impressed with the place. It's nothing to look at, really, but the food is good and she will probably bring her friends here for lunch.

Lucky for us Nifty's spot was right around the corner from our hotel. Once we entered we were immediately greeted by the owner. She was so nice! It was great having a conversation with her. Looked to be a small family/husband & wife operation. The best places usually are. Simple decor- anime and Kpop covered the walls- I loved it. It's a very casual place. She recommended the Gochujang ramen: spicy, sweet, creamy & umami. It was everything I wanted in a bowl. I ordered with beef bulgogi - the boiled egg was perfect and soft.
