You shouted at someone who was there to help your son, calling her racist, and expressed INSANE political assumptions. How was Bailey stating they're understaffed and "I don't want to be spoken disrespectfully to", racist? Weirdo. Would you respond well to someone, two people CHARGING at you, shoving a finger and YELLING, in your face? It sits off of the main road near the large Seven Springs complex. It's at the base of an unassuming office building. I had a 2pm appointment, checked in, waited a few minutes then made my way back to the room. Procedure/shot took place, and I left. All within about 45 minutes. The major difference with this location and the East Nashville is service and bedside demeanor. The associate at the counter was disengaged, and the nurses were flat. Was an odd vibe. Overall, the procedure went fine and I am finally feeling better, so I'll give them that. For my physical therapy and follow ups, I'll keep to my East Nashville location.

I opened the door to ask and was told there were still two people in front of me. I asked if we could reschedule or do anything as I drove a long way on break from work. The reply was "no" and I was to "just wait." Other reviews show wait times of 2 hours. This is unacceptable unless there is an emergency. Short staffed and poor planning is not an emergency. I left without seeing the doctor or support. Not a great way to treat anyone. Disappointed the VA/VES partners with such a poor clinic.

While there, it was my privilege to be under the prompt, compassionate, and attentive care of some hard working folks. My stay lasted for 3 full weeks and every day I was impressed with the warm and friendly people that are employed there and the quality of friendly helpful care I received. The backbone of such a facility is of course the Nurse Techs. Every Nurse Tech that cared for me was without a doubt exceptional in professionalism and compassion. Always responsive to my needs and in good response times as well, makes the Nurse Techs at the Gallatin Center a cut above most other nursing facilities in my book. The Nurses also displayed prompt patient care, timely dispensing of medications, and a willingness to jump in and help with any other patient issues or concerns. During my 3 week stay, I was able to observe the attitudes and patient involvements of many of the staff and employees of GCR. I'm happy and proud to report the stellar patient care and attention was above and beyond the call of duty in every area I witnessed. Some of the staff members are sometimes short tempered probably as a result of not having enough help. The cleaning crew often doesn't show up and clean the patients rooms. Even when they do straighten the rooms, they usually don't sweep and mop the floors. Rooms look like they need to be painted. The inside of this beautiful facility looks like it has been neglected and let go. It's unfortunate that it is in this kind of shape. Most of the residences here are long-term and I feel bad for them. Unfortunately, the staff is overworked and apparently under appreciated. Went in with extreme pain over the weekend and they gave me meds (orally only, and I could barely…read moreswallow) and the lowest dose of seizure meds possible. I could barely talk but they didn't see anything in a CT scan so they just sent me on my way. I haven't eaten anything in 48 hrs bc of the pain in my head, but no IV, nothing. Ridiculous.

They provided my husband with great service and even kept him overnight to monitor his heart.
