One star for decent work on an easy job, but no more due to dishonesty and gauging. They said: $75 inspection fee. Jobs cannot be accurately bid until onsite no matter the level of detail provided in the work order. If the job can be completed for less than $500, then the work will proceed. If the job will be more, then a new bid will be sent for approval. Inspection fee waived if estimate approved. I got a $500 invoice with no details whatsoever for a simple screen door replacement. When asked for details we got this: Door cost $109 Material acquisition $30 Labor $311 Debris disposal $20 When asked for labor details (rate and time spent) we got ghosted. No way it cost $311 for labor that would not reasonably be more than an hour. read more

Our patio door handle broke. I contacted a few handyman services. David quoted a good price and was most prompt in his communication. So we went with him, and I am very glad we did. He was punctual and professional. He wore a mask and he also took his shoes off in the house without asking, which my wife was happy about. Not only did he fix the door handle (without having to actually replace the whole deadbolt/handle, which I feared), but when I told him the reason the handle broke - because of a problem with the lock - he then grabbed some more tools and fixed the underlying problem with the lock. The latter task took him longer than the original one, but he still only asked for his initially quoted price. How often does that happen?? I sadly have to give 2 stars. Our first interaction was great. David installed a light pendant and did a good job. He said he could also mount our TVs and sound bar, so we had him come back. He was here for 8 hours for a job that should've taken just a few hours at the most. Him and his partner didnt seem to know how to mount the TVs and my husband had to help/guide them a lot. It was really frustrating and stressful because we wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. Tonight the sound bar he mounted was sagging, so my husband is having to fix it. It's fine if they didn't feel confident in the job, they should've told us or stopped the job instead of it taking the entire day and costing more than it should have considering the circumstances. First initial indicate the door and door frame all aligned correct so it lead David to believe the problem must coming from other area.
