Very Reliable good tasting food. This is closer to a Mexican restaurant rather than Tex-Mex. They have good Micheladas Really great Menudo And my kids love the potato sides they serve for breakfast. The atmosphere is good and the service is adequate. The price is great for the food you get and I come here when we are. Late post.. I would like to send a huge shout out to the night crew at Tepa on the East freeway for helping make my husband's birthday dinner extra special. On Setp 17th we had his birthday dinner with family and friends there. Like about 30 people in total. We walked in and we were suprised with a birthday welcome. Music tambourines it was nice. I was even blushing and it wasn't my birthday. Lol Our waiter Josue and another waitress forgive me I forgot her name she is new. Any how they did an amazing job waiting on everyone. The bartender had our drinks on point as well. The Manager Mitzi is always attentive as well. She always takes time to check on all her customers. We can't leave out the cook. The food was amazing no complaints from anyone. Everyone loved it! All the waitresses and waiters are always super cool and nice here at this location. Came here for a Sunday breakfast with my family of 15 and wasn't seated till lunch time! They had all open tables but scattered around and couldn't sit us together, they insisted on dividing us up which defeats the purpose of coming together for breakfast so we waiting 3 hours to be seated watch the whole Texas game and still no seating finally they sat us and when we asked to speak to a manger they completely ignored the request. I've been here about 3x now, all for breakfast on the weekend. There's just something about Mexican breakfast that makes you forget the traditional bacon n eggs. They have a wide variety of combo plates like huevos rancheros , all kinds of tacos (chorizo, ham n egg, etc) burritos, and even pancakes! Servers are friendly and attentive, and seating is plentiful, as the dining area is pretty large. They have coffee and fresh fruit waters as well (lemonade, melon, and others). Located next door to their arch nemesis, Taqueria Arandas, Tepatitlan stands out. It's much larger also. Their extensive menu includes traditional Mexican dishes for lunch and dinner, and all sound pretty awesome. Ill be back for dinner soon! read more

Previously before dinning here, my family and I had ate at another Mexican restaurant which was not very good. Here, we all enjoyed our meal. The enchiladas were tasty, their tamales were very delicious and warm, their horchata was also yummy, and their caldo de res was good, hot in temperature, and freshly made. I picked this place for my birthday lunch, worst decision I have ever made. We were a party of 12 arrival was a little before noon so the place wasn't really busy yet. Our waitress took our drink orders, but took a long time before taking our food orders, we had to tell her we were ready to order. The food took so long to come out, there were only 2 of us left needing our food to come out, by this time it was time to go we had already been here well over an hour...when My food comes out there is a long black hair on my plate, I immediately noticed while I was cutting into one of my enchiladas. No one ever comes to check on us so it takes a long time to wave down our waitress and let her know...we end up calling a Manager who never came to our table. We let the waitress who I guess is running the place know and she takes the food and offers me a new plate of anything else, I ask her to please make me the same thing but to box it up to go, I was not overly upset as I am a pretty patient person...Until that is that After waiting another 10 minutes or so they bring me out The exact plate of enchiladas in a to go box, That's right!!! The SAME enchiladas that had a hair on them, I knew instantly because of where I started cutting into them they were the same ones!!! Now I'm upset, I brought them business and gave them a chance to make things right and they Bring me the Same food to go!!!!! If they are capable of doing this it makes me wonder....
