    Chips, salsa and queso
    Jennifer B.

Stopped by on a very cold day to warm up with some Mexican food and it did not disappoint. Started with chips, salsa and a small queso. The queso had a nice spicy kick while the salsa was mild. My friend had the steak quesadilla and she said it was very good. I had the mole poblano with chicken. Very good and way more than I could eat. We were not drinking alcohol so no margaritas though nearly everyone around us had them. The restaurant is small but clean and comfortable. Our server was friendly and efficient. Overall a pleasant experience. We would definitely return when in Savannah.

We were seated pretty quickly, which was nice, but unfortunately, the overall experience was pretty underwhelming. They do give you free chips and salsa, which were actually pretty good. We added a side of queso, but at $7 for a very tiny serving, it just wasn't worth the price -- even though the queso itself tasted great. I ordered the steak quesadilla, and it was disappointing. It barely had any cheese -- in some parts, there was none at all. It comes with what they call a "guac salad," but it was literally less than half a tablespoon of guacamole on a small bed of lettuce and tomatoes. No sour cream was included, which is typically standard with this kind of dish. I asked for some sour cream and was told it would be an extra charge. We just wanted a small bit to add on the side, but the smallest portion available was still too much for what we needed and cost $1.50 or 3$ for a bigger serving. We opted for the bigger one since i needed two. But now it felt like a tub of sour cream,It just felt excessive. The tacos come plain -- just cilantro and onions, no other toppings or options. We also tried the margaritas, which were way too sweet and didn't taste like they had any alcohol in them at all. Overall, it just wasn't worth the price for what we got. The portions, quality, and service didn't leave a good impression, and I wouldn't come back.

Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars. The big margarita! Wow. I asked for fresh ingredients only and they delivered. My husband had the flautas, an order came with 2 ground beef and two shredded chicken. They weee delish. I had the pollo loco which was very good. Excellent food and we will be back!

The food was incredible but the service was so so. We had the birria and avocado burrito and I absolutely would recommend both. It's also very nice inside and you could tell they put love into the food.

Guacamole made table side was great! The service 5 star made sure we were all happy and enjoying the food. Fun interior with tons of things to check out. This Realtor enjoyed his favorite food :)

Great food!! Great customer service. I asked for the grilled chicken chimichangas instead of the shredded chicken and it was soooo good. The street tacos were really good. We were not impressed by the margaritas. The syrup had a weird after taste so it spoiled the whole drink. But I would go back again for the food!!

The food was amazing . The margarita was well made and the entree was delicious. Our server was quite friendly too. The restaurant is spacious as well.

Yes, and definitely yes! Tequila and tacos--how can you possibly go wrong?…read more We grabbed seats at the bar, looked over the menu, and I immediately ordered a tequila soda with jalapeños. If you enjoy a little spice in your cocktail, I highly recommend it. Since we were only in town for one night, we planned on hopping around downtown and trying several different places, so we kept it simple and ordered three tacos to share. There were quite a few tempting options on the menu, and every taco we tried was delicious. Looking back, we honestly should have just stayed here all night eating tacos and drinking tequila because none of the other places we visited afterward lived up to this experience. The atmosphere was bright, lively, and fun, with a great location right on the boardwalk. Between the food, drinks, and overall vibe, this ended up being one of our favorite stops of the trip. We'll absolutely be returning the next time we're in town. After experiencing some of the other disappointing spots downtown, this place made us realize we probably didn't need to go anywhere else.

Margaritas were tasty with lots of flavors to choose from. We tried the chips and dip trio. Guacamole was amazing and so was the queso. The salsa we had was okay but would probably choose something different next time we visit. Everyone loved their tacos with everyone having a taste of something different. We finished it off with churros which were just as great as the ones in Disney! Our waiter was very friendly and had good recommendations for tacos to try! It wasn't too busy when we first got there but picked up as the night went on! I recommend for a solid girls night or anyone wanting some great margaritas and tacos!

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

When I requested a knife from Julie at the register, she informed me she would bring it to the table but failed to do so. Upon following up with Ashley, I was provided one immediately from the same location where Julie had been standing. When I later addressed the delay with Julia, she responded snarkily, stating "well you didn't order from me and you're not my table so I don't have to get you a knife. I said if you work here and I ask for a knife, if you feel you don't want to get it for me, then as an employee, you get whomever rang me up to assist me but either way, I walked to the cash register and asked for a knife and she could have easily reached under the shelf and handed me a knife just as Ashley did.
