"I've had a consistent, recurring issue with my taco orders: onions and cilantro are repeatedly left off, and the salsa is missing almost every time. This has happened often enough that I've started calling ahead before ordering to confirm the order will be made correctly, and it still isn't -- meaning I end up having to buy salsa separately just to get what I originally paid for. I'd appreciate it if this could be addressed, since calling ahead shouldn't be necessary to get an order made as requested."

I've been to 3 other tequileros locations. Manteca (food truck), Stockton (small spot but a great mural wall) Lodi (truck) Salida, CA was spacious, seating to eat and to wait, the decor all around is beautiful, there was restrooms available Ordered there, took some selfies and enjoyed my steak fries order at home. Their green sauce special is so delicious I hadn't known at my Lodi visit but my cousin told me about it and brought me to the Manteca spot. I looked on yelp for other locations and went to the Stockton location with my cousin. I would like to come by to the Salida location again soon and eat there next and try another menu item Parking looked very much available even with other businesses nearby. There is a hotel and gas station next to them too Close to the freeway as well The lady that took my order was friendly and fast on my Tuesday afternoon visit.

Modern decor with lots of neon, very cool. Found this place which is kind of hidden in the corner of this shopping area which we drive through almost daily. Great find solid 4.5 stars for now, wife and I were really hungry after a very long day at work so sometimes that skews the rating so will come back soon and try some tacos and chilaquiles and maybe upgrade to a 5 star. I had Al pastor fries, which my wife usually rolls her eyes because what am I ten? Fries were delicious! She had a carne asada burrito which was also great and with a different flavor from what you usually get not sure yet what the flavor/spice it is but very tasty. Orchata was also great and service was excellent.

Place is pretty inside don't get me wrong

First time going here yesterday ordered to go . Lady in front was kind and place was pretty inside. I ordered two burritos and nachos, and tell me why my burrito had a hair in it I understand things happen, and it's just hair, but this was such a long, thick hair that it completely threw me off and made me lose my appetite. I called the restaurant five times, but no one picked up. Unfortunately, I won't be going here anymore. I really wish they would at least apologize or offer me a refund because finding a hair that long in my food was honestly disgusting and disappointing.

We ordered breakfast burrito and tequileros fries. Both were ordered with chicken. Both of them were very good. I took off one star as the breakfast burrito chicken has bone in it. Very strange! But taste wise very good. Will visit again. Hopefully not more bones.

Located in the northeast corner of AAA gas station. This little food truck kicks out delicious tacos and burritos that are served hot. Fill up your gas and enjoy there carne asada tacos. Support a local business

My husband and I had been eyeing this place for a while, and we finally decided to call in a pickup order because we were seriously craving tacos. We ordered four tacos two pastor, two asadaand an asada burrito (no beans). I also asked for two sides of salsa, one for me and one for my husband, since burritos always need that extra sauce. The young woman who took my order was really pleasant. She repeated everything back, including the two sides of salsa, and quoted me a 15-minute wait time, which was spot on. Everything was packed up securely, which I appreciated. However, when we got home, there was only one salsa included even though it was confirmed during the call. Not a huge deal, but a little disappointing. I ended up giving mine to my husband since his burrito needed it more, which meant my tacos were on the dry side. That said, the tacos were still filling and the meat was flavorful and well-seasoned. I do wish the tortillas were a little more cooked; they were on the softer, slightly soggy side. The grilled onions and serrano on the side were okay. The pastor taco especially felt a bit soggy, probably because that meat tends to be juicier. Overall, it was a decent experience. The food was good, though the prices felt a little on the higher side for tacos. Tip: Double-check your order before leaving--especially if you asked for extras like salsa. Ours was tucked into the taco plate, so it would've been easy to miss without opening everything up.

Was craving asada nachos and I was curious about this place . I ordered a plain asada quesadilla and asada nachos. The asada meat is delicious. The nachos ... not that that were not good but it didn't satisfy the asada nacho craving . Cheese wasn't melted . No pico , guac was more of sauce than the texture I needed . I'll come back for asada tacos but not the nachos . The service was great and I like the set up .

Hands down best tacos ever!! I actually love everything I've had here. The burritos are good, breakfast & super !! Love their asada & pastor . The family that runs this business are super sweet. Love the girl who takes your order. Always has a smile and remembers who I am . Such a great vibe. Business is always kept clean and is spacious. Their salsas are so damn good! Especially the avocado one . This is definitely my favorite place for great Mexican food!!

We heard really good things about this place, and the menu completely won us over! Friendly service and very modern ambiance. Nothing like a Sangria and Jarrito with some Quesabirria tacos!! Will definitely be back!

Hidden gem, upscale taqueria Private parking lot, room for huge parties! Easy freeway access. I happened to catch them right at opening, was craving a breakfast burrito. I was even able to add bacon. The burrito came out on a loaded plate, toasted jalapeño, sauté onions, lime, and salsa. The burrito was so loaded with meat! But not oily at all! Salsa was just the right heat. My Horchata was so good, sweet and creamy. My experience was very nice, the staff even came to make sure I did not need anything else. A must try location, easy access when passing through Salida, Modesto and or Ripon.

ORIGINAL REVIEW REMOVED BY YELP!…read more My wife decided to give this place a try, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment she placed her order. She was trying to order flautas, but there was a language barrier between her and the employee taking her order. My wife noticed that the employee was entering something completely different and repeatedly tried to clarify that she wanted flautas. The employee kept saying "yea, yea, yea," as if she understood and was handling it. My wife knew the order was being entered incorrectly, but rather than continue arguing or create a bigger situation, she decided to let it go and move forward. When the food arrived, it was not what she had ordered. She calmly explained to the employee that she had repeatedly asked for flautas and had even tried to correct the order while it was being entered. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake and fixing it, the employee began arguing with my wife and insisting that my wife was the one who was wrong. Thankfully, my wife was with a friend who speaks Spanish and was able to translate. Her friend tried to explain what had happened and help resolve the misunderstanding, but the employee continued insisting that my wife was at fault. The situation became so frustrating and flustered for my wife's friend that, while trying to translate and advocate for my wife, she eventually found herself arguing with the employee as well. This was never something my wife or her friend wanted, but the employee's continued denial and unwillingness to simply acknowledge the mistake caused the situation to escalate. Eventually, the employee agreed to remake the order, but the attitude continued. The replacement plate was brought out in a very rude manner and essentially thrown onto the table. What made the situation even worse was that my wife's friend overheard the employee speaking negatively about my wife to the kitchen staff in Spanish. She also overheard the employee saying that my wife should learn how to speak Spanish. At that point, my wife was honestly uncomfortable and even scared to eat the food. When an employee is visibly upset with a customer and is speaking negatively about that customer to the kitchen staff, it creates a level of discomfort and distrust that should never exist when someone is simply trying to enjoy a meal. My wife is one of the kindest and most respectful people you could meet. She was not rude, disrespectful, or demanding. She simply wanted the food she ordered and tried multiple times to correct the mistake. When it became clear that the situation was turning into an argument, she initially chose to let it go because she did not want to create a conflict. We love the culture, we love the cuisine, and we genuinely believe in supporting small businesses. That is why this experience was especially disappointing. As a former resident of this town, I expected much better. Language barriers happen. Mistakes happen. What matters is how you treat someone when those mistakes occur. Unfortunately, the way my wife was treated was completely unacceptable and left a very bad impression. This was, without a doubt, some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Very disappointed in you YELP team. I have been using this platform for years and you're simply going to wipe my review? Well here's some more work for you and the owner of this business. Your dispute has been denied. Please resubmit.

Their menu is fairly extensive and includes all the typical dishes you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. I did find the prices to be a bit higher compared to similar spots, but I don't mind paying more when the quality and flavor justify it. They also offer Taco Tuesdays from 3-9 PM, Thursdays from 4-9 PM, and happy hour Monday through Thursday from 4-8 PM. We ordered the carnitas street tacos and chicken rolled taquitos. Shortly after being seated, our server brought out complimentary chips and salsa. The chips tasted fresh, and the salsa had great flavor. The tacos were enjoyable overall, but unfortunately the taquitos fell short. They had a good crunch, but were pretty bland on their own and needed salsa to add flavor. This probably wouldn't become one of my regular spots, but I'd come back occasionally to try other menu items.

The caterers arrived nearly two hours late, which significantly disrupted the entire event schedule. They brought only two servers for a large crowd of 250 people and ran out of chips midway through service. When I addressed the delays, they took no responsibility and repeatedly claimed they had been given the wrong address. I provided a copy of the signed contract clearly showing the correct address, but this did not resolve the matter--only more excuses followed. Once their excuses were proven incorrect, they then falsely accused me of being intimidating and raising my voice. Despite paying a substantial amount for the event, I was simply holding them accountable to the contract they had agreed to. The food itself was mediocre. Combined with the poor planning, inadequate staffing, and complete lack of accountability, the experience fell far short of professional catering standards. I will not be returning to this restaurant or using their catering services in the future, and I strongly recommend that others consider alternative options.
