Chocolate quinoa cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and double chocolate cookie sandwich
    Chloe C.

I would stick to their no bull burger and yam fries. Make sure you get the vegan version though if you're vegan because the default is regular cheese. The garden patty is also not vegan and there is no way to make it so. This time I got the bbq chik'n panini and it was pretty good. The bread wasn't my fav though and the cheese wasn't melted at all. It definitely needs a longer grill time. The sauces were really good though and made it super flavourful. It is a very messy sandwich to eat so be careful if you do get this. The yam fries were good as well, and the fact that they're baked doesn't make them any less tasty. The chipotle aioli was not good at all though :( The cauliflower tempura was decent, although there was one or two where the batter was undercooked on the inside. It did need the sweet chili sauce though as it was quite plain on its own. The cookie was average, nothing too special. It is on the sweet side and the inside is a little underbaked. There is a decent amount of chocolate chips. The salted caramel brownie was not good at all. Even without the caramel it was sickly sweet and the texture was super soft and gummy. I would not recommend this.

    ChickUN Tikka Panini and brownie
    Dana S.

Didn't try a burger, but got the ChickUN Tikka Panini and a brownie with candy cane topping. The sandwich was very tasty - I really liked the combo of the sauce and caramelized onions - but not worth $9. The brownie was really good, fudgy with a crisp top, and a generous size. They had all the baked goods in individual plastic containers in a cooler at the register, all unlabeled, so I'm not exactly sure what I got. Waste issue with the packaging aside, it seems like they should at least label the containers so you can be sure of what you're getting, especially since I think some but not all of the baked goods are vegan. The person who took my order wasn't rude or anything, but they weren't exactly pleasant either. While I was waiting, they were finishing up a takeout order and preparing another that got their order before mine, but I was the only person there who ordered in, and I thought the wait time of ~10 minutes for a sandwich was a little ridiculous. I guess it's nice that they assemble it fresh when you order instead of just sticking a premade sandwich on the grill? They have a small amount of indoor seating and one table outside. It's nice that they have the outdoor table, but the location right on the sidewalk was a little bit of an awkward place to dine alone. I think it would be fine if you were with someone. Based on how good the dessert was, I might be tempted to go back and give the burgers a try if I'm having a craving, but based on my experience at the moment I'm not feeling a strong desire to return.

There are few places in Vancouver where I enjoyed vegetarian burgers, but this was a completely different experience! I loved their burgers! Their "meaty patty" is exactly the kind of fast-food burger style I was craving. The burgers were loaded with ingredients and sauces were amazing. The vegan cheese was so perfect. I think this is officially the best vegan burger I had in Vancouver. Tera V Burger offers veggie burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, and smoothies. We had two burgers - Ultimate Tera V No Bull Burger and Chipotle Swiss Mushroom Melt No Bull Burger. Both burgers were full of flavor and MOIST! Plus the staff were so pleasant! I am definitely coming back! Highly recommended for vegetarians, vegans, and anyone who isn't!

    Fiesta Tempeh Burger

I agree with Malloreigh, this place really does feel like a vegetarian fast food restaurant. Aaaand I am a fan. I tried the Fiesta Tempeh Burger, and my dining companion tried the No Bull Burger avec yam fries. The fries were super tasty so I inhaled them. The burgers were delicious and messy, but whatever - who am I trying to impress? I will definitely be back to try all the things.

This fast casual vegetarian burger and sandwich joint satisfies that classic diner meal urge without making me feel like I've blown through half a week's worth of calories and saturated fat in one sitting. And at around $10 CAD, their sandwich/fries/drink combo is one of the better deals in this upmarket neighborhood. The "No Bull" burger is a solid soy-based patty with fresh crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, and American cheese. There's really no need to miss beef when you can nosh down on something as hearty as this. If my meal had one weak spot, it was the fries. Theirs are thin and baked, but tasted quite salty and lacked any strong potato flavor. I would opt for the yam fries next time. My meal seemed to be assembled by the same person who took my order. Not sure how this multitasking would work during the lunch rush, but I wasn't kept waiting too long during the slower late afternoon. Yelp is currently running a 10% off your total order deal. What more incentive do you need to check out Tera V?

They had someone standing outside a month or two ago, probably back in the summer judging by the weather, giving out samples of their veggie burger. Outstanding!

    Lentil Panini
    Tatiana K.

I live not too far from here and wanted to try this place every time I'd walk by. Today was the day! The menu is small but they do offer 4 different burgers, 3 different sandwiches & 2 wraps. My 8" Lentil Panini was good. The patty was more on dry side but tasted great in the sandwich. Service was quick. But I found it a bit strange to get a tiny cup of water in a small disposable cup. In my view, it is the waste of material and not-so earth-friendly. Plus I had to ask for this water twice. All in all, the place is ok. And a great alternative to other popular fast food chains.

    Not Bull Burger
    Larry C.

I ate the No Bull Burger, which the cashier recommended to me for the closest tasting to a beef burger. Great customer service, and we had an interesting chat. Not too often do you find customer service where they arent afraid to conversate, and still put you on pause if additional customers come. The signs on the window said they were the best burgers in Vancouver, and I may believe they are the best vegetarian burger, but not the burgers in Vancouver. How can you not choose the juicy taste of a beef patty?! I know, my taste is cruel. But Tera V Burgers do a great job in what they do. They didnt shame me for not being a vegetarian. They did have a painted picture of a cow to stare at me as I ate...Which made me feel kind of good. I made a choice of not eating a burger from a cow who has no say in it becoming food.

    Deluxe No Bull Burger
    Kristie W.

Tasty baked sweet potato fries. Decent, but not mouthwatering burgers (based on the two that I've tried). The Deluxe No Bull Burger has a nice honey mustard sauce, but the bun, veggie patty and toppings were good but not exceptional. The Fiesta Burger has a decent flavoured tempeh patty, but the densely packed mashed bean (I know it's not actually bean) texture is far from what you would hope for when you're waiting to eat a burger. The toppings and sauce on this burger were quite ordinary, as well. Do get the baked sweet potato fries, though!

    Vegan No Bull Burger! :)

There's a full bar service with a bar tender, and a couple waitresses. We sat down with no wait time, and the server brought the menu right away. We each ordered a truffle mushroom blaze burger, with some sides of onion rings and yam fries. We also shared a crispy chicken poutine which was delicious. The crispy chicken was a little over fried, but the poutine and cheese made up for it. The truffle mushroom burger was very yummy with big portions. They are also flexible to customize the orders, with extra toppings, and switch it up for kids menu. Our waitress was also very patient with us and took down all of our customizations, and got them right. If you are looking for a nice local burger place with friendly staff, this is the place to be!

Their space is not too big but it is perfect for date night. In fact, most people there were on dates. The aesthetics of their space is designed for date nights. They not only have burgers but also a cafe which coffee. I got their diablo picante beef burger which had lettucem avacado, jalapeno, pico de gayo, chipotle mayom sour cream, AND TORTILLA CHIPS inside the burger! I was so excited to try this mexican style gourmet burger. I will say it definitely lived up to the hype and I will say do not get this if you don't like spice because it was spicy. My partner got their blaze poutine which was not bad, but nothing great at the same time. They had a special bali coffee which they recommended so we got that but I would give it a 3/5 for that. Overall not bad!

Jam Cafe, Vancouver Jam Cafe is my favorite brunch spot. Anywhere. That sounds like an exaggeration. It isn't. I've been traveling to Vancouver for work for almost a decade, and every single trip includes a stop at Jam. If I'm lucky, two. I've also become that coworker who convinces everyone to meet outside at 7:45 in the morning so we can be part of the first seating at 8:00. Thankfully, we're all from the East Coast and have been awake since 5:00 anyway. Over the years I've successfully JAMfluenced more business travelers than I'd like to admit. And yes, it's still worth the wait even if you're not first in line. The restaurant itself is tiny. Cozy farmhouse vibes, mismatched decorations covering the walls, and maybe 15 tables between the dining room and patio. It feels more like someone's favorite neighborhood breakfast spot than one of Vancouver's brunch institutions. The menu is comfort food turned up to eleven. Everything is indulgent, creative, and somehow still balanced. You can tell the kitchen starts with great ingredients because every component tastes like it could stand on its own. I try to branch out every visit... and then usually end up ordering the Tater Tot Bowl anyway. Crispy tater tots, buffalo sauce, Mexican street corn relish, and ridiculously good pulled pork. It's the kind of dish that sounds like it shouldn't work, but every bite somehow gets better than the last. And then there are the cinnamon roll pancakes. They are enormous. They're also one of the best brunch dishes I've ever eaten. Birdfluencer Lorraine M. declared them the best pancakes she's ever had, and after several visits, I don't have much of an argument. Service is exactly what it needs to be. Friendly, efficient, and quick. The staff knows there's a line forming outside before the doors even open, but you never feel rushed. Overall, Jam Cafe has officially become part of my Vancouver tradition. At this point, a work trip to the city doesn't really start until I've had breakfast here. If you're visiting Vancouver and only have time for one brunch, this would be my pick without a second thought.

And as I soon as I walked in I noticed the portions people were receiving, holy cow! Are we in Texas? I ordered a chai latte and it smelt so good. And tasted even better, best chai I've ever had. I hardly made a dent in my food though. There was a bit of a wait for the bathrooms. I loved the decor too. Honestly I see the hype for this place, but I believe it's mainly for their HUGE portions. Dont get me wrong the food was delicious! But I don't think waiting in a line is necessary for this place.
