One of my favourite burger joints in Vancity :) Never disappoints, always delicious and I never leave feeling unsatisfied. They have gluten free and vegan options which is great and I've tried them both and they are just as delicious as a regular burger. Options of regular fries or yam fries, I always go for the yam fries. The regular fries aren't anything special, sometimes they're on the soggy side in my opinion but the yam are always crispy and hot. If you're in a rush best to call ahead to place a take out order bc if it's busy you can wait up to 10 minutes for your order. I should also mention the place has a small seating area as well so the seats fill up fast, only 4 tables along the wall with the booth, one high top and 3 seats by the window so parties of 2+ can be hard to dine in at busy times. This is quite a yummy veg burger! I have been here twice now on both my trips to Vancouver. Both times I had the vegan No Bull Burger! Yum! Honestly I think it is the most "meaty" veggie burger I have tasted! The first time I was here my husband and I took out the burger and fries - mmmmm! Yam fries were good, just not as amazing as I expected it to be with all the positive reviews. The second time I sat inside the restaurant which awesome with the free wifi! Off topic, has nothing to do with the restaurant: I have to say when I was there another family was sitting in and was being VERY rude to the workers about their meal. They made them re-make the burgers three times. Just remember that no one wants to be treated poorly. I felt so bad for the workers there! That being said both of the times I have been to Tera V I have had great experiences with customer service. Very friendly! Have been to this place a few times before and really enjoyed it, however they often put mayonnaise or cheese in my burger when I've requested otherwise. I am dairy free so cannot eat this. Usually they replace it without a problem. However last time they put mayonnaise on my burger again after I specified no mayonnaise. We were at a beach picnic so it was too late to go back and change it. We were pretty disappointed as it's kind of a bummer when one person has a burger they can eat and the other doesn't. We called back and asked to be credited for this and they said yes. Then today we went back to try to get our free burger and purchase an additional burger and fries and the store employee said the owner is not in and they can't verify we are telling the truth! Very frustrating to have not received our proper order and still have paid full price for it. Won't be attempting to get our free burger again. Would rather not be suspected as a liar just trying to get a free burger when I am actually a customer who did not get what they ordered and paid full price! You are a vegetarian restaurant! Best vegetarian/vegan burger joint I've ever been to! They never disappoint. I always come here if I'm in the area. All of their burgers are juicy and filling... you would never guess that there's no meat in their patties. I always get the No Bull with hot sauce and sometimes with or without vegan cheese. I love their baked yam fries too. Where else can you get BAKED ham fries? Even though the burger itself may not be as healthy, the baked version of yam fries makes me feel better when indulging. I agree with Salim that the hardworking and friendly owner Jag is such an awesome guy and of course his Tera V Burger as well. He always reminds me not to be gone for more than 5 minutes whenever I pass by to order my No Bull Burger and take a stroll along the area to do other things as my order is coming right away. Lately though, I just call Jag or his staff about 5 minutes before I arrive and my NB burger and yam fries are ready inside a brown paper bag with a smile on it. Basically, what Tera V Burger did was create a burger that I already love to eat in a healthier version with reasonable costing. Its delicious taste still makes me feel that I'm eating a fast food burger but deriving healthier benefits at the same time. And just recently, they've also introduced the No Bull Burger Deluxe ( with Honey Sauce and Monterrey Jack Cheese ) and a Smokey NB Burger too. I like the Smokey one better although its a little messy to eat with its BBQ sauce. However, the original NB Burger is still the best in the menu for me. Very good small cafe with tasty vegan/veggie options. The BBQ Tempeh and Vegan Wrap are both excellent options. The only downside is that they sometimes run out of menu options if they've had a busy lunch period. So it's best to go earlier than later. As they pride themselves on healthier options you won't find any caffeine here, so coffee fans will need to grab their fix from one of the nearby coffee houses. read more

I was beyond impressed with Tera V, it definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the no bull burger and fries and it was spectacular. It was reminiscent of my childhood visits to mcdonalds, except way better, healthier and cruelty free. I also picked up a slice of the red velvet cake and it was delicious. So the place is owned by this awesome guy Jag. The No Bull burger, and the Lentil Panini are the best things on the menu by far. And make sure you get the Yam Fries that go along with it. It comes with a curry sauce that is quite simply mmmmmmm. Ive brought the entire family here, and we always leave satisfied. The burger was extremely flavourful and juicy, the vegan cheese was melted to the point and I had to doubt myself if I was eating a actual beef patty. been looking for the best vegan burger in the city, and so far, tera v and loving hut are tied (for different reasons). tera v's burgers are the old-fashioned, big, homemade sort, whereas loving hut's are the gooey diner type. went to tera v for the first time less than a month ago, and so far, I've been there three times! ok, the tera v no bull burger is all I've ordered, but I keep getting it cos it's so fracken delicious. it's a big, juicy veggie pattie (it's vegan!), but not oily at all. it's what I've looked for: a big, fat, satisfying veg burg with all the fixings (and yeah, they put dill picks IN THE BURGER - major points for that!). I've ordered the vegan no bull, which means I get a schwack of daiya. yum. a friend ordered the BBQ tempeh burger. it was ok, but dry. I think it'd be tastier (juicier) if they marinated the tempeh beforehand. the fries are great: baked, crispy, perfectly salted. all those frites need is a dousing of vinegar and I'm happy. yup, going back lots this summer. can't wait to bring one of these veg burgs to the park on a sunshiny afternoon. read more

You'll be hard pressed to find a better veggie burger in Vancouver. The Naam would be closest, but they're different takes. Tera V gives you a healthy and vegetarian take on simple burger and fries takeout. The burgers are awesome, the "No Bull" being a personal favourite. Cost is extremely reasonable, service is quick whether sitting in or takeout, and the owner is a really friendly guy. Definitely suggested if you're looking for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner, really great for those week nights where you just don't want to cook but want something uncomplicated. read more

First time at Tera V today, ordered the no bull burger, fries and a Boylan soda. Had to specify twice that the burger was vegan before it was acknowledged. Food didn't take too long, maybe ten minutes. It arrived in paper bags similar to a&w. I love fries, I always check to see what my fries look like first, I eagerly opened the bag to some very bland Store bought shoe string fries. Womp womp. Burger was okay, very very sauced up though, I'm not entirely sure I tasted the patty, but whatever I tasted was decent. Delicious! Yesterday, my partner and I were out and about and decided to go somewhere for lunch. We were kind of getting tired of all the same spots and decided to broaden our horizons. I'd seen this restaurant online so we decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad we did! It's a small, modern, nicely-appointed place with about five tables and counter to put in your order. I really appreciate that they have other options for burger patties than just veg. I also like that they have vegan options on some of their burger and can accommodate gluten free requests. I bought a Living Social coupon for Tera V Burger and brought my mom along to try it out. We both had the veggie burger (great minds, I guess). I had a salad and she had fries. The burger was pretty nummy, although a bit heavy on the sauce. The salad was good, with a decent amount of non-lettuce materials in it (I really hate it when a salad is 99% lettuce). I stole a whole bunch of Mom's fries, they were quite good and I was able to pretend that they were good for me since they were baked. I was a little surprised at the amount of disposables they use (even if they're made from plant starch). While they have a sign saying something like "eating at Tera V Burger is being good to our water supplies" (NOT a direct quote, that's just the jist), that seemed a bit disingenuous as disposable products, no matter what they're made of, are not good for the environment. Other raters' observations that this is basically a vegetarian fast-food restaurant is spot-on. If I had come in with that expectation I may not have been so displeased about the amount of waste our meal produced. Overall, a good vegetarian meal for the price, but definitely not a gourmet burger place. read more

I had a tempeh burger on a gluten free bun and sweet potato fries and hubby had no bull burger with regular fries. I love that their fries are baked and not fried, yet crispy and yummy! Burgers were good and had the standard condiments on them. The gluten free bun was OK, not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either. I've seen some complaints about the service time, but to be honest, I have had just as long waits at McDonalds. Anyway, the staff were polite, the place was super clean. A soft, fluffy, whole grain bun, soft patty, with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle. Ketchup and mustard! Definitely one of the best veg burgers I've had. Critique: I like interesting and different veggie burgers, this was as close as it comes to a regular meat burger. There are other options though. Would be nice to have sprouts and shredded beet, etc. Price: I believe it was $6.50 ish. Not including anything else, so its more pricey than fast food but I'd say it was worth the money. I love Tera V Burger! I've been a solid 10 times or so now and have never been disappointed. You get the delicious and satisfying taste of a burger and fries, without those feelings of heaviness and greasiness afterwards. The food is always hot and fresh. My favourite go to meal here is the No Bull Burger and fries. It's dressed just right and comes on an always fresh and soft bun. The fries have always been hot and crispy, but never oily. I love that they are baked! The place itself is quite small, but I've never had a problem getting a seat to dine in. I am also always impressed with the cleanliness of the place itself. It's a great casual place for all and you will leave satisfied regardless of whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan. read more

After seeing the spot around the neighbourhood I decided to give it a shot. I have been vegetarian for about 8 months now and i know very well how horrible fake meat can taste. So going in I had low expectation. My non-vegetarian mother and I went and tried the burgers. She got the "No Bull" and I got the BBQ Tempeh Burger and we immediately were obsessed. We went back the next day for lunch! The burgers are delicious and do not have the fake meat mixture of spices taste left in your mouth. There is a huge variety of food. They also have amazing baked yam fries. The burgers here are my new obsession. The service is fairly good. The food gets to you fairly quickly and the burgers come in bags labeled with smiley faces (which is very cute in my opinion). The workers there are very nice and genuinely do not mind helping. As the space is small and can get filled up fairly quickly during meal times, the take out service is very good and does not take about the same amount of time to be made as if you were to eat at the restaurant. Overall this place is a new obsession. I highly recommend to come here if you are vegetarian/vegan or have a friend who does not eat meat as the food will satisfy even those who eat meat. read more

Ordered 2 paninis, a salad, and yam fries. Ordered ahead of time and after we left we noticed there were no yam fries in the bag. Had to go back in the store and did not get the chipotle dip that is said to come with the fries. There was also no dressing on the salad that said it would come with balsamic dressing- the salad was dry and there was no dressing in the bag. First time trying and will not be coming back. If you can't include every aspect of the food promised, then don't run a restaurant. read more
