Every food item was on point and delicious! Really did hit that burger spot and fix the craving. Pandan milkshake does have a hint of pandan flavour and is not very strong. The onion rings were great. Unique and tasty dips! Service is pleasant and welcoming! A few seats outside and a few more upstairs. Just a note! There are no wings or beer at this location! They are only available at the OG Cambie location.

A unique burger place that specializes in smash burgers with a Southeast Asian street food twist. I was surprised to find flavours like Kimchi on their menu. We got their Christmas special with stuffing and cranberry sauce and it was delicious. I also highly recommend their thick creamy milkshakes!

I'm normally not a huge burger person but for some reason, smash burgers have been on my mind as of late! There was a sign out front advertising a Power Hour Combo (2-5pm) of a smash burger and fries for $10 so I figured it was the right time to try. Service was pretty fast and the seating is primarily on the second floor up a long set of stairs so be aware of that. There was water and ketchup upstairs and I really actually enjoyed the seasoning on the fries. The burger seemed decent but nothing that blew me away (then again I haven't had many smash burgers)!

Been a hot minute since I finally got to try this burger place that's been on my must try list! Decided to get a burger fix after post hike and it was the best decision. I love the names of these burgers, so creative and it's not your typical cheeseburger or like a basic smash burger. Definitely unique id say. I love the bun it comes in is also brioche vs those seeded buns. And yes that's right i got side tater tots and oh boy the seasoning they have on it is such a nice touch! They also heat up perfectly well in the air fryer after not fully finishing the whole meal. I got the Aloha Smash and i'd get it again. It was a perfect serving size, already super filling' & my friend got the wild wild mc gangster and he was so stuffed! I love how they let you customize your side option. The restaurant has a seating area upstairs after walking a flight of stairs and you order downstairs. They buzz your number and you pick up the order to your table. Parking is limited outside as it's a busy area but i swear the food is definitely worth it.

Very cool place with an awesome video game esque vibe! Although we did takeout, the food was delicious and the service was quick. I got the mcgangster and would definitely come back again.

I really wanted to like it here after hearing all the hype about it online, but it didn't live up to it for me! I got their All American burger with fries and a Ovaltine milkshake. Starting with the good -- the fries were amazing. I loved the seasoning they put on it, and they were cooked to crispy perfection. The Ovaltine milkshake was divine and I loved every sip of it. Can't go wrong with a classic milkshake. The burger comes with two smash patties. They were crispy and so was the bacon! The bad -- the patties might've been smashed for too long.. they were pretty dry compared to other smashed patties I've had. The burger sauce also had so much pepper flavour that it was off-putting. Service was self-serve but the cashier was very nice. Ambiance was casual fast food dining. I wouldn't have a burger here again, but would definitely want to try their tater tots or have their fries again! Or have a milkshake.

This burger was the like most gourmet version of a Big Mac - it hit on every aspect! Loved the double smash patty with the cheese, lettuce, pickles and special sauce! Bun was fresh and it came out real nice and hot! The patty had that great caramelization on the corners with some great crispiness! My husband got the veggie version and said it was the best "fast food" style veggie burger he's had. I didn't love the crinkle fries because they had a sweet dust on them hence the four star. I would give 4.5 stars here because the fries still came out hot and crispy I just don't love the flavour. Service was friendly and fast! I think the patio would be nice to sit on during summer months. Love the mural and the upstairs is fine, could use abit of an upgrade there.

Super cool neat menu with Asian fusion burgers and sandwiches. I met a friend who was a local and wanted to try this place together. I got the Krapow attack (smashed beef with American cheese, snake beans, crispy Thai basil, black pepper sauce & jade goddess). It was really good, the crispy Thai basil that came gave it a nice basil aroma with each bite, along with the black pepper sauce. Pretty decent smash burger and good service as well. We ordered and they delivered it upstairs too much was nice. Our group all enjoyed what we ordered!

Delicious burger and milkshake I got the street hawker burger combo and added extra for the Ube milkshake upgrade The smashed Two Rivers beef burger was made to order and tasted juicy and fresh. I loved the KO sauce, which gives the burger it's tangy and peppery flavor profile The Ube milkshake was super tasty, totally satisfied my craving Perfect to sit upstairs or outside to enjoy the combo The order was quick and I'm quite impressed The order seems pricey at first, $23 for the combo but it was worth it They also offer a fried chicken or fish burger The staff were friendly and very helpful

enjoying a relaxing sunday afternoon at the car free day on main street, we decided to stop by street hawker around 5:45 pm on a sunday and ordered their namesake burger. it comes with beef, cheese, pickles, and their signature hawker sauce, and we went for the combo with fries and a drink. the ordering process was smooth, after paying ($40.79) they handed us a pager to let us know when the food would be ready. there were some seats upstairs overlooking the front entrance, with a self-serve water station up top, so we grabbed a spot and enjoyed the view, while we waited. when the pager buzzed and we picked up our food, i was surprised to see the burger was actually a double patty. i've heard so many great things about street hawker online, and maybe i had set my expectations too high, but honestly, it didn't quite live up to the hype. the patties were bigger than the bun, but tasted bland, and missing that juicy, satisfying fattiness you want in a burger. the hawker sauce had a faint hint of spice, but not enough to take the burger to the next level. the crinkle fries were just okay, it wasn't crispy enough. though it didn't quite meet the high expectations from social media buzz, it's still a solid stop if you're in the mood for a burger craving.

Love this burger joint! Nothing like it in the city. I tried as many as I could, and I thought every single burger was delicious! The malay fish was my favorite by far, but that's not to speak poorly on the rest of the options. The burgers are definitely of the smash burger variety, which is my preference. The fries were a bit of a miss despite my expectations. Service wasn't the quickest, but they have a buzzer system that I always appreciate for its efficiency.

Street Hawker is a very popular burger shop right now; many of our friends have recommended this place, along with an online reviewer! We were happy to visit this place on a sunny day during our walk on Main Street.  We ordered through Ubereats as they had a promotion where you can get a free smash burger if you order $30+. As we picked it up, we noticed they have seats upstairs and decided to eat it fresh; it was the best idea we've ever made!  Since I used to work at White Spot when I was in high school, I understand how fried chicken burgers are best eaten fresh, so I didn't want to waste any time having them steamed by the box. As we opened the box, we were shocked by how big the chicken was. I can say that I've never seen a piece of chicken this big on any chicken burger. We were so happy to see the steam coming off of the burger, as it was just so fresh. You can see the juice and steam from the picutre! I love how they used chicken thighs; it allows the meat to be tenderly juicy. Then I added some of the mango mustard to it; that combo was extraordinary! We took the smash burger home for dinner since we were way too full. We will do an update on how it tastes if we get to try it fresh, as it dried up when we tried it.  My girlfriend and I both agreed that this was the best chicken burger we've ever had. I was right to order 2, as I knew I'd regret seeing her eat it while I tried something different!

A solid burger joint (from the same folks who run Potluck Hawker on Cambie)! One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Friendly staff and fast service too. We ordered: - Pickele Smash Smashed Beef Burger: Still thinking about this burger. That's how good it is! The secret is the hawker sauce - like a mix of the classic black pepper sauce you find at the HK cha-chan tengs/HK cafes and thousand island. - Dickie's Ginger (Strawberry): Not too sweet and paired well with the burger. It's created in small batches from a local ginger beer company. The Street Hawker Iced Tea was not available, unfortunately. Tip: Grab a seat and enjoy your eats on the 2nd level.

Krapow attack, float, general tao crusher, turbo fries with jade goddess sauce on the side, and ube milkshake.

There are some small tables for two along with high tables. I ordered the 'hot' sandwich, chicken parm. I was expecting crispy chicken parm with yummy cheese and rich tomatoe sauce. Let's be honest, the star of this show is the bread! The baguette was warm, soft and so delicious. However, that's where the excitement stopped for me. The chicken with breading was soggy and the pesto and mozzarella was such a small amount, it felt like a soggy chicken sandwich with lots of bread. If they put more pesto dressing, more mozzarella cheese and more tomatoe sauce, I could have looked past the soggy chicken. All in all, I'm glad it tried it, the bread is amazing, and I'll come back to try a 'cold' sandwich to see if the other options are better!

The best part of the sandwich was the bread, they sourced it par baked from a bakery and finished it in store. it was amazing. For some reason (I expect cost) they stopped doing that and now get the bread from another of their locations. I would agree with some other reviews here, Mangia's is a bit expensive, but I and my friends were willing to pay for quality. The new bread they use is dry, tough and sub par, I tried to get used to it twice, but will not be going back. This review could have been one star but for the fact that the staff are amazing.

We walked over after getting off the Granville Island ferry at the Aquatic Centre stop. There wasn't a line, and our sandwiches came out quickly after ordering. - Reuben Sandwich -- tender meat, just the right amount of tang from the sauerkraut and cured meats, finished with their house-made mustard and a crunchy pickle on the side. - Lemon Rosemary Chicken (no cheese) -- light yet filling; the greens added freshness, avocado gave it the perfect moistness, and the light jalapeño kick tied it all together. - Garlic Bread -- buttery, garlicky, and crisp; the texture fell perfectly between a Vietnamese baguette and a ciabatta roll -- ideal snack for the walk. Overall, Number E is a charming deli serving high-quality sandwiches on their own freshly baked Tuscan bread. They also offer pastries, coffee, and other drinks. There are a few indoor and outdoor tables, but it's mainly a great grab-and-go spot. Chill ambience where you can watch the team craft your sandwiches fresh to order -- the perfect pre-ride fuel stop!
