Protein powder skillet and happy breakfast bowl
    Cora F.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday around noon. There are definitely locations with better service but this one was just underwhelming. Granted it was the Taylor Swift weekend, the restaurant was busy but not full. Staff seemed short staffed and our server was running around everywhere. That being said, I can expect food to be a bit delayed but it would've been nice to get a check in or be notified that our food would be just a little longer. Additionally, once the food arrived, it was lukewarm (at best). I'm not sure if this is because our food wasn't collected right when it was done or if there was some sort of kitchen mishap. Bottom line, the food tasted alright but it would've tasted better hot. Thankfully, the table appetizer arrived early enough before actually being starved waiting an extra 30-40 mins for our actual entrees. And I ordered a bowl so my rice retained decent enough heat for the rest of the toppings to be lukewarm. At the end of the day, the wait was so long, it was not worth sending it back to get reheated. I love MeeT but this was truly a disappointing experience.

    Protein Power Skillet

MeeT has a wonderful relaxing ambiance were you can enjoy a conversation and get ready for the day ahead. The food was amazing had the Protein Power Skillet. A great vegan breakfast , the tofu, tempeh and kale worked well together; giving it a flavourful texture: The service was excellent , friendly and fast. If you're looking for something different brunch; this is one to try out.

Happy Yelpers after a delicious and healthy brunch!

Visited MeeT in Yaletown over the weekend to try out their brunch menu. I've been so MeeT before but never during brunch, so this was my first time and I must say... I enjoyed their brunch menu so much more than their regular all day menu!! They have their brunch menu available till 3pm. I got their steak and mushroom eggs benny which had their signature steak curls, chipotle mayo, sautéed mushrooms and crispy onions. They had tofu egg patty with their cashew hollandaise sauce that was sooo good! They had two sizes, single and double. I went for the single portion which was honestly pretty filling! It came with a side of salad, garlic & rosemary breakfast potatoes, and creamy buffalo sauce. The steak curls and tofu egg went so well with their cashew hollandaise sauce!! The whole meal was super flavourful! Their buffalo sauce was amazing with the potatoes as well. The classic benny had "ham" with the tofu egg and hollandaise sauce. Also very good but I personally liked the steak and mushroom more. For drinks, we got their ginger yuzu which was so refreshing!! The Yaletown location has a big outdoor as well as indoor space. A good brunch place for a big group! And their service was stellar as always, our serves were so friendly! Will definitely be returning for their brunch menu again!!

Holy Veggie Mama! Black bean burger and poutine and salads so good. Go!!! We both loved every morsel but the cookie and mouse and whip cream sent it over the edge.

I haven't been disappointed by a MeeT restaurant yet! This location is cute and cozy, tucked into the little Yaletown neighbourhood, and the staff have always been so fun(ny) and kind to me and whomever I'm with. Everyone - vegetarian/vegan and omnivores alike - always enjoy the food and are especially enamoured by the mushroom calamari!

    Butter chikkin poutine
    Meenashree C.

At the vegan restaurant, we tried their staple dishes like poutine. We ordered the butter chikkin poutine and the Big Mac burger. The burger was tasty, but the poutine was just average. Be cautious of the portion sizes as they're quite large. The server initially brought us butter chikkin noodz instead of the poutine, but they promptly corrected the mistake. The music playing in the background was fantastic. Probably will give them a 3.5 stars

    Carrot cake

Great service, ambiance, modern pop chill music, spacious seating. As for food, the carrot cake was simply delicious! All the flavors hit as they should. The curry noodles with soy curls were ok and not impressive; rather weak flavor. Love that everything is vegan.

Great place to hangout with friends and family. Lots of food options despite being entirely vegan place. Their brunch menu is also great. One of my favorite vegan restaurants in Vancouver. Would recommend their Mediterranean burger and tofu scramble.

So we MeeT again. Lol. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. We ate dinner about 500 feet away from MeeT in Yaletown. And it was NOT enjoyable. So we headed to MeeT to get food with flavor!! The hostess sat us outside (thank you!!) and it was beautiful weather and a lovely street to sit on with a pretty park across the way. Our server Hannah took excellent care of us that evening. We got the Philly Cheesesteak Poutine which was not my choice (I would have picked the nachos) but my husband chose. It was terrific. The "steak" hit the texture mark and was very flavorful and still chewy like a steak and cheese usually is! The sauce was fabulous and everything was just well seasoned and good. We also got drinks, he had the Summer Sour: Aperol, OJ, lime juice and gin. I had a Spicy Margarita. Both were exactly what we wanted/needed. We also decided to order dessert because it was our sweet 16 anniversary and well we might as well end it on a "sweet note!" We got the Cronut, first one for either of us, and Lemon Tarte. The Lemon Tarte was excellent. Not too sweet, not too Tarte, just right and creamy!! The crust was made of coconut and also delicious. The Cronut reminded me of a churro with yummy liquid sweet inside. It was kind of like cinnamon roll topping except it didn't make me feel sick. I don't like powdered sugar or icing for the most part and this wasn't sickly sweet. Just nice. What a good way to end the evening!! Thank you MeeT for saving the date for us!

Nashville Hunny Glazed Mac n Cheese Donuts
    Nissa Z.

Everything look so good and of course the Nashville Hunny Glazed Mac n Cheese Donuts stopped me in my tracks. So we had to try them. I had the Mediterranean Burger with the Orchard Harvest Salad (you can upgrade your fries or salad that come with your entree to any of their Poutine or Specialty Salads ). My love had the Fried Chicken with the house salad. Everything was super flavorful, delicious and had a good "bite", he didn't even miss the meat. I was a little worried when they asked if we'd been there before then explained its plant based. Ummmm, I may have neglected to inform him of that . But he enjoyed all of it. We were so full we passed on dessert. We'd definitely come again when we're in Vancouver. The place is cute and intimate. It was a little dark for me to read the menu...but then again my eyes aren't what they used to be. All the staff were nice and attentive.

    Butter chik'n poutine

The food was amazing. I got the butter chicken poutine. There was only 2 pieces of the "chicken " but honestly I didn't even care because the flavor was that good. It is kind of expensive for poutine but I loved it.

Fantastic restaurant. I wasn't too hungry when I got there but once I ordered and the food came I got starving it looked so good. Everything was beyond amazing. Restaurant is super cute and in a safe area.

Classic Benny-Smoked "ham", delicate tofu egg patty and house cashew hollandaise
    Autumn M.

I looooove this place! I am a huge fan of MeeT! Anything I've ever tried has been delicious! My first time at this location didn't disappoint. It's right along the walkway of restaurants and you can sit outside and people watch like I did. I tried brunch this time and the Classic Benny was tasty! I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything from a traditional benedict. The amount of food was filling and I love that you can get half salad and half potatoes if you don't want to be totally healthy or completely strung out on carbs. If you are apprehensive about a fully plant based meal, this is good bridge between a meat and meat-free meal.

The Garden Rolls were absolutely the #1 worst ones we've ever eaten! We've had hundreds of fresh rolls at dozens of places and sadly, none were as tasteless as these. They consisted of noodles, a bit of flavorless tofu and cucumber. Fresh rolls MUST have at least one or more of the following: fresh mint, fresh cilantro or fresh Thai Basil. Hestia's had NONE!. To add insult to injury, the watery sauce also had NO flavor. To add more insult, they were baggy and poorly wrapped and the innards kept falling out. Not fun and definitely not good. The king oyster mushrooms were very good, but there was a ton of pink mayo dousing it. I would have preferred the sauce be in a separate bowl so we could choose how much dipping we'd like to do. The saffron tofu bowl was sensational! Perfectly spiced and full of a huge variety of well-cooked veggies plus the saffron rice was good too. No one came during our meal to ask if we needed anything or to ask how our meal was. The customer service is in need of some work.

Definitely try to go at opening or when it is not busy, as the dine-in experience is memorable - they place your order in a long wooden board to make it a beautiful spread. We got the Manoush'eh Special which has ground beef, pomegranate, etc and Sham Style which is shaped like a boat. We also tried the yogurt drink which pairs well with the dishes. The only con is that this place does not have free water, but it is no problem to have our own water bottles supplementing the meal. We also got the lentil soup which is pretty good. Definitely sufficient to share one to try, but the Manoush'eh outshines the rest of the items. I loved the quality and texture of the Manoush'eh and just the breads in general. It is a lot of food for 2 people so if you want a snack, you can definitely just share 1. Some people go here for the wraps too. Overall, an affordable restaurant with good food.
