Very good quality food and they're happy to make any of their burgers vegan except for one I think.

Food: bland and uninspired. Pretty much the same quality product that is served by the Vancouver Parks Board....at TWICE the price! Seriously, if you're attached to your money in any way, save it, go to the beach and get the same generic patty burger. I could taste no difference. Furthermore there was nary a sprinkling of toppings. I think all toppings combined could've fit into a shot glass. The yam fries are generic McCain-type frozen fries. Really a total rip off. I will never set foot in here ever again. And frankly, I don't understand the high reviews AT ALL. read more

My unconditional love and gratitude for vegan restaurants can only be pushed so far. Friday night, I thought I could put the past behind me and just have a wholesome, uncomplicated meal at Terra V. I felt so hopeful when I noticed they had TWO people working. I ordered my usual vegan lentil panini in a combo with baked fries and a can of coconut water. I figured I had some time to kill as there was 1 order in front of me. So I went to the washroom and did my hair and freshened up after my work day (read 'took my sweet ass time'). Then I plunked down on one of the high top window seats and proceeded to watch the traffic go by. When that got boring I read the Georgia Straight. By now, all this hopeless waiting around was starting to feel dreadfully familiar. That's when I heard the kitchen girl come out and tell the order in front of me that terra V was out of yam fries. Bad sign. I was already hangry and they hadn't even figured out the previous order's sides. Eventually I received my order in a to-go bag and when the kitchen girl discovered I was staying (just like I told the other girl when I ordered) she offered to take it back and fix it. I declined the offer. I was afraid she'd take it and never come back at this rate. It was not the paddy I remember in the lentil panini. It was a circular veggie paddy cut in half and placed sideways so it fit onto the long bun (did Tera V "run out" of this, too?). As I ate my food, a customer behind me asked if she was eating real cheese and said she was vegan. "Oops, that's real cheese. I'll go fix it." It was another life time before the fixed burger came back. Annoyance that I might be eating an "oops not vegan" meal washed over me. I had kind of lost my appetite at this point and decided to head out, my baked fries in hand, which I figured would be a tasty, safe conclusion to an otherwise unfortunate meal. But even that was a FAIL. A few soggy, cold fries in the bag brought on flashbacks of badly cooked, barely unfrozen fries from years of day care as a kid. Running a restaurant is hard. Every book about starting/running a restaurant and everyone who's done it says so. Luckily most of the food on the menu can be bought at a local grocer's and prepared by virtually anyone in the comfort of their own home, probably at twice the rate. read more

Wow, I am normally a meat guy, but this place is good! I had the BBQ Tempeh burger, my wife had the "No Bull" and my daughter had the Garden. All were great. I will be coming back. read more

The vegan No Bull Burger is the BEST vegan burger I've ever had!!!! Why? Because it truly tastes like real meat, cheese, mayo, etc. I haven't had any other food here but it's a nice little burger place for vegans and vegetarians. They have a good drink selection and they make smoothies. You can order in or do takeout. read more

The burgers were absolutely delicious, perhaps the best vegan burger we've had in Vancouver! The yam fries would have been great, however they were not fresh, they were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for a few hours. They also messed up our take out order and so when we got home we realized some of our food was missing. Luckily when I called they agreed to deliver the missing food and also threw in some extras free of charge. Overall I would definitely try this place again as the deliciousness outweighed the mishaps!! read more

I have tried Vegan Burgers in many places before but they're often greasy, salty or swimming in sauce. However V Burger was awesome. I could not even believe it was Vegan. Absolutely delicious and flavorful without substituting salt for flavor. Loved it and highly recommend it. Yummmm read more

I've made meals at home with gardein soy veggie chicken strips and I've also bought big mountain foods ltd. veggie burgers. When I paid 8$ for the thai chicken salad I did not expect it to be poorly fried gardien soy chicken over some veggies with really sugary and clearly processed salad dressing. I also didn't expect the lentil panini to use mountain foods ltd. burgers. I was really excited when Tera V first came to kitsilano and anticipated that they would make all their own food instead of overcharging what one can already make at home. read more

Been meaning to try this place for awhile. The "No Bull" burger totally exceeded my expectations - the patty was the best veggie burger I've ever had, and the whole thing tasted homemade, with a fresh bun, yummy mayo type sauce, pickle, onion, lettuce and cheese. I also had the strawberry mango peach smoothie which was average. I would absolutely go back, especially with vegetarian/ vegan friends, to try the other burgers and yam fries. Great fast food burgers! The price is amazingly cheap and the food was really delicious. Y'all just need to remember that this is fast food! It's meant to be quick and tasty. Everything but the garden burger can be veganized. The mayo is vegan and they have Daiya cheese so the cheese burgers are on point. The staff were also very nice. read more

Fate led me to Tera V Burger, as I'd bought a deal last week and then ventured over the weekend just as the Georgia Straight review came out. I was surprised that the place wasn't busy after that review; the decor is limited but hip and inviting. I went for the standard "No Bull Burger" and yam fries, as I was told that the No Bull tastes the most like a beef patty. The food came out a good 15 minutes later, not fast like the news review said. The yam fries were standard, and came with a Hellman's bbq chipotle sort of dip. If they're going the veg/vegan route, they should definitely try and have their own homemade aioli. The No Bull was tasty as promised - but I personally could have used less ketchup and mustard. The bun was substantial, and whatever other sauce or flavouring they had in the patty made it taste nice and juicy. The texture is un-beeflike but I was really impressed how much the flavour stood on its own. I'd definitely take out next time, but if they had as much seating as the time I went on a sunny day, it'd be worth dining at with company as well. read more

Tera V Burger makes a pretty darn good veggie burger. If you're ordering just a burger, I'd give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, both the regular fries and the baked yam fries are just okay, certainly not on par with the burgers. I would recommend ordering just the no-bull burger and/or the lentil panini, but skip the fries. They cost a lot, you don't get that many, and they're not very good. Food is delicious except for the fact that the one making the food cannot decipher between a little, light or very light for condiments. All 3 get you a mixed bag of condiment applications. A little gets you a bun soaked, light gets you to use a wet nap after the first bite and very light gets you a molecular level spread that only a scientist in a laboratory can see. There needs to be a more even process for condiment application and the food will be a homerun. read more

Very slow service, food was filling but not super tasty. I recommend calling your order in ahead of time if you have a large party or it is during peak time. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated the many different options. Wish there was a smaller kids option though. read more

The No Bull burger has got to be the best vegetarian burger I've eaten in Vancouver. It's the closest I can get that has the texture of beef and not the fat or calories. It's tasty and juicy. Unlike another reviewer I did not have a long wait - my fries arrived warm. The prices are reasonable. The customer service here is so bad. I've been trying to get in contact with the manager and owners for 2 months and have not had any of my questions answered regarding catering or bulk orders. The staff here never pass the information along to the manager or the owners and they tell us that they've told them, but we never hear back. I've phoned multiple times at different times of the day and the manager is never present. I've had team members go in to speak to someone, and no one ever answers our questions and are extremely rude about it. We've emailed multiple times and have waited weeks to even get one response. We're trying to give them business, but with the awful customer service we have been given over these past few months, the food isn't even worth it to be treated this way. read more

After wandering around Broadway in search of a fast food burger, I instead decided to pay a bit more to get a veggie burger from this new spot on the block. For $6, I got a SUPER good burger, I was told it was what to order if I were craving a cheeseburger, which was the case. Unbelievable how similar it tasted to a real cheeseburger, you'd hardly know that it's veggie! I was impressed with the food. To be honest, the space is sort of odd. I appreciate the attempt at saving paper by having screens displaying the food and advertisements, although in practice it appears cheap and distracting. I understand it's a sort of fast-food joint, but if they were to draw more customers in, the decor and visual communication would be something I'd see as having to change. Great burger, though! Will be stopping by again if I'm overcome with a cheeseburger craving again soon. read more

I was in the area 'cause I was on the way to Jerico Beach for the Folk Fest and walked by this burger place. This is heaven in a basket for those who want lunch and are on the ethical and healthy train. They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free burger meals. To drink they have a Stevia based soda called Zevia. Their burgers are actually good and prepared awesome. Lady at the til was nice, eatery is nice and clean. You feel good eating this instead of guilty. It sucks that this is so far away from home for me as I wish I had something like this closer, however, very appropriate location for the area and core demographic lifestyle. For what you get, this is a fun place. Vegetarian and vegan fast food style cuisine with a range of burgers, salads and wraps. Fairly greasy, but what do you expect for the style. Priced reasonably and the staff is friendly. Not the type of thing I normally eat, but it was nice for what it was and can recommend it if you're looking for cheap, fast food vegan fare. read more

Hands down the best vegan and vegetation burgers I've tried in Vancouver. They've got some great competition around the city but Tera V Burgers are perfect, the flavours are incredible and the way the sandwiches are put together is truly delicious. Great no bull burger! Only thing to improve would be the menu at the cashier where you look to order, it doesn't say what's on each of the burgers/ how they differ from one another. I know one may simply ask the staff, but sometimes being able to see it written out is easier. I would have loved to have smokey no bull burger because of the fried onions, but didn't realize this was an option until I was looking at a take out menu on my way out the restaurant read more

We ordered two burgers, the "No Bull" burger and the "Barbecued Tempeh Burger". We also order the fries. I would recommend both burgers to anyone, whether vegan, vegetarian or a carnivore--we ordered the vegan version. They were delicious. Personally, we both preferred the tempeh burger, but the no-bull burger was also really good and apparently the most popular. I also like the fries--sure they may not be as the best French fries you have ever had, but they are not deep fried, instead they are baked, but I still found them to be very good. The price was also reasonable. We had 2 burgers and 2 orders of fries it it was about $20. We will definitely be back...soon! read more

The "no bull" is one of the absolute best veggie burgers I've ever had - and I've been a vegetarian for 25 yrs (so I'm no veggie burger virgin!) It was a lot to eat and was obviously not a frozen pre-made patty. Have a sandwich here and you will not be disappointed!! read more

Yam fries are cripsy and abundant with a pleasantly spicy sauce alongside. Not a vegetarian or vegan, but the burger was just as satisfying as beef and very tasty. Recommend the Fiesta Tempeh. read more
