Chicken and rice bowl
Kristen B.

Value: Fabulous. The bowls are large and start at $7.00. Vibe: Pretty good. Truck is fun looking, people working are very friendly. Service: Okay. They prepare food quickly, but we're out of some ingredients only 15/20 minutes after arriving. Quality: So-So. My food was okay. I got the Chicken Bowl. As said earlier, it was lots of food. It was all cooked and hot, but I wish it was more flavorful. It seemed like mostly plain chicken with white rice and the veggies were also only OK. Thoughts: If you're looking for a good, quick value meal, this should satisfy your needs. If you're looking for that exceptional teriyaki bowl that you know and love, I'd say skip it.

I decided to try this truck for lunch today. The value is good since for $9 you can get a chicken bowl with extra meat and it's a good portion. However it was disappointing. The chicken and veggies were ok, kind of bland, and the rice was VERY over cooked. I would take forkfuls and come up with mushy mounds of stuck together. Honestly I thought it tasted like minute rice.

Surprisingly good truck food for cheap. I tried the chicken on steamed vegetables and the beef on lo mein. I personally found the chicken to be under seasoned and slightly dry. The beef and lo mein, however, was excellent. Make sure to add some hot sauce! The acid in the hot sauce really helps cut through the sauce on the beef and lo mein.

Good portions. Made to order. Polite staff. Served out of a truck? Yes, even better. Can't always find them though

They don't even clean their shrimp! Disgusting! I think I got food poisoning by looking at it!

Friendly, quick, and $10 for a decent portion. But nothing amazing, just solid teriyaki stye dishes.

What do you mean there's only one other review on here???…read more My Uber driver told me this was her favorite foodie spot in Boston and she said it's better than Merl's so I found it on Uber eats and gave it a try! Portions are huge and everything is flavorful and seasoned. I got the Alfredo and added oxtail and the grilled salmon wrap. The fries that came with the wrap we're also seasoned, still crispy and hot when it got delivered to me! The beef patty was delicious but I wish it had more filling. Overall the food was pretty good and I'd get it again if I could!

It was pretty…read moreempty inside, with no other folks dining in, and just a handful of customers picking up takeout. I knew that the wait for our food would be long (which was reinforced by the sign saying as much!), but the food was definitely well worth it. Portions were extremely generous. I wasn't expecting that, so we had ordered the salmon rasta pasta and crispy chicken sandwich for our mains, plus plantains and mac n cheese as sides. I would recommend just getting the entrées in the future, as that was definitely more than enough food. The salmon was EXCELLENT. I had no idea what to expect in terms of how it was cooked and served, but I was blown away by it. In addition, this was my first time having the rasta pasta, and it really surprised me by tasting so similar to Italian flavors. The crispy chicken sandwich was also quite large and tasty, and the fries were fantastic. They were seasoned just the right amount of cajun and retained all of their crunch. If I had known that the salmon rasta pasta came with a couple of fried plantains, I wouldn't have also ordered the side - in fact, I preferred the ones that came with the meal, which seemed to be different (perhaps fried a little more, and sweeter than the version in the side dish). The mac n cheese was the only thing that didn't stand out as great - it was very creamy, but a little too thick. All of this food was for a very reasonable price. The staff were also extremely friendly. I will note that the music is quite loud, but enjoyable. I'd highly recommend it if you're ever in the area!
