I get the hype now. I've been trying to check out this spot for a long time but no dine in sort of hinders that, but the weather was perfect so it was perfect to try it. We got their Italian sub with a large pepperoni cheese pizza. What a wonderful meal that was! For the longest time I've heard everyone compliment this place and I see why it's a lot of people's favorite. Amazing taste and excellent sub. Can't wait to come back and try extra toppings.

Cheese pizza for me and pep for the partner ! Sooo good!

Pizza was the slam. Crispy crust and the sauce was yummmy, I am a fan now! Randomly googled this place and my partner and I will be coming back!

Mush and pep. Why mess with perfection?

Man I love a Terita's pizza! This time it was a large sausage and green pepper, extra done. It was perfection. Hardest part is choosing what toppings I want. Love that you can choose your doneness - extra done is my preference because it bakes some of the sauce into the crust. Yummy yum! Wish it was closer to me but also glad it's not because I would eat it every day. I really need to try their subs too. Side salad is basic iceberg mix but sometimes I can't hate on a basic salad!

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to visit to this place for the first time on a Friday during rush hour, in the dark, and in pouring rain, but that's the story. I accidentally turned into the car business next door and was promptly waved away before finding a parking spot by the restaurant. Inside, I observed a full, happy crowd patiently waiting for their orders. My order was ready and I must say the workers were very efficient and friendly to me. As I fought my way back home, blinking away my tears, I thought, "I hope this pizza is worth the effort." It was just okay. I decided to make another trip on a slower day in the daytime to give them another chance, but in the end, it's unlikely I will make it back.

Great pizza and great service! Gluten free pizza is available and tastes just like the regular (or so I was told) there were plenty of toppings on it, the mushrooms were perfect! We got extra cheese which I would recommend. The service was friendly as well This pizza place will make you nostalgic for your childhood

Love this small pizza shop in Columbus! The pizza is delicious, the crust is thin and crispy. The sauce is delicious as well! I got their sausage, which was so tasty on the pizza. The staff was so friendly. really great option for pizza in Columbus!

Apparently, this family run business has been around since 1959! 1959! So you know it's legit. It's garnered a neighborhood following, loyal customers who have eaten their pizzas and subs for generations. This was my first time going to Terita's, but just their sausage alone is gonna keep me coming back. It's a little far out for me, but there is something so comforting about their pizza and subs. It's very old school and the sauce has a really nice balance of salty and sweet. They're very generous with their toppings and cheese. and it's a classic Ohio pie. Meaning it leans more towards the thin crust, but you definitely get a good chew with a nice crust at the bottom and edges. But let's be honest, everyone knows it is famous for their homemade sausage. Apparently about 90% of their pizza has sausage on it. That in itself speaks for itself. And I can attest that it is indeed some amazing sausage. It's fresh, a decent size bite, a little bit salty...a little bit spicy. Perfection! The staff was also super friendly. I think I was greeted and taken care of by the manager there, who told me he had been working there since fifth grade!! The man knows his pizza .

Ask the Community - Terita's Pizza Carry Out

How is dine in service? Do they offer any beer selection?

There is no dine in, just carry out and I don't believe they sell beer

Confused about crust choice. Reviews say regular or extra thin but menu on website has a choice of thick . What are the crust choices?

Regular, which is Columbus style thin, thick and gluten free.

Do they use fresh mushrooms? Normally I wouldn't ask, but I've noticed quite a few pizzerias in Columbus use canned mushrooms.

Yes, and tons if them. Looks like the use baby bella mushrooms

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement.
