Great service with limited seats. Thin crispy pizzas with unique ingredients. Their 8 slice size is optimal for each person. Be aware prices are above standard chain pizza places, but totally worth it. We all loved our options.

Food and service was great! Craig was very personable and nice. The ambiance was cool as well, definitely recommend

Always great. Server team was on it tonight. There was a Crew game tonight so it was very busy. We arrived at 530 and got a good table. The balsamic on the salad is really great. So is The Old Fashion. The water is cold! A Top 10 pizza in the area.

Burnt garlic bread - not good

I was not impressed with goremade and honestly sad about it. I've heard so many good things and finally wanted to give it a try. We ordered a large pizza and a garlic bread. When we went to pick it up, it was around 8:30 on a Saturday. Their site says they don't close till 10, but when we got there they were out of ranch. That's fine, but they offered us some jalapeño sauce? It wasn't what I would eat pepperoni pizza with. We went home and opened up the garlic bread. The bottom of the crust was charred and burnt. It's all we could taste. I was super bummed because it wasn't cheap either. Our pizza was fine, but tiny. I would've rather gone to Borgota or the truck outside seventh son. I sadly will not be back. Too expensive for not good pizza.

The pizza is awesome Service spectacular The ambiance is perfect for a pizza shop. The only complaint is parking. You will have to find parking and it can be difficult and you may have a long walk. With that said I take a star away. 4 stars

Undercarriage is toasted but not burnt. Soft and bubbly.

Sometimes I want a good wood fired pizza. It's a unique and great taste. Went to GoreMade pizza on N. 4th Street near downtown. Excellent pie. Got the 12" Porkistopheles pizza. Great flavor, fresh mozzarella, Ezzo pepperoni, sausage and bacon. Very thin and light. Not greasy. The crust is bubbly and perfectly cooked. Toasted but not burnt. They use an old pizza oven from Naples Italy and make each pizza by hand one at a time. The wood fired flavor really comes through. You can eat there or take out. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced for such great pizza.

The side salad was $5 and life changing I loved it so much! Pizza was light and super easy to eat, restaurant was adorable, and the service was very friendly! The outdoor dining was also super cool!

Outstanding pizzas that are fairly lesser known throughout town. I love this place - truly well made (or should I say "gore-made") pizzas with a personalized flare. Everytime I go here, I leave with a smile - I wish I also left with leftovers, but the pizzas are just too good. Great service, fun decor, everything is just so fun.

Chef's Choice at top and Clintonvillain (with olives instead of mushrooms)
Ann S.

Excellent, excellent pizza! My daughter has been raving about this place, and I was skeptical. But geez. This was so delicious! We got a Clintonvillain subbing the mushrooms for olives, and a Chef 's Choice Pizza -- also delicious!! Great crust, amazing toppings! A small pizza joint with a small bar and 6 or so tables. I'm sure they do a robust carry-out business but we sat at a table by the window. Helpful employees, who are clearly proud of their product. Street parking. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

When I arrived around 10pm on a Sunday night, the place looked like it was in transition to closing (chairs flipped over on tables, no patrons, staff members watching TV in empty booths). However, I was welcomed in to order by the friendly woman at the counter. She answered a few of my questions and when I asked what her favorite was, she immediately said, "Buckeye Garlic Pizza." I took her advice and was also able to add up to three toppings at no additional charge (mushroom, olive and sausage). I took a seat and waited about 10 minutes for my personal 10" pie, which came out hot and with a friendly, "Thank You, Sweetie." I ran the pie back to my hotel and opened up the box. The pie looked amazing. Perfectly crispy outer crust, six cheeses and garlic, along with my toppings. The pie was pretty damn good, with steam coming off the top. The six-cheese blend was interesting, with the dominant flavors being American and Cheddar. The sausage, olives and mushrooms were all fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good option to satisfy my hunger for a late night pizza in Downtown Columbus.
