Tiff Salad
Ian S.

My wife and I stopped at a Teriyaki Grill for a weekday lunch date. The food quality is good and it tastes good. Their portion sizes are to the American standard. The sauces are really good. The Teriyaki sauce was a bit too sweet for me. The sauce with the Tiff salad is really good. If you are in the area for lunch, then I recommend anybody to give it a try.

Have you tried Tiff's Salad at Teri Yaki Grill? Holy yum! It's huge and crammed with all kinds of yumminess! I love how full of veggies it is, and the grilled chicken is so delicious! This salad is HUGE!! Two meals or share for sure!

Ginger salmon (little) with white rice and a side of grilled pineapple.

This place is conveniently located right off the Layton Parkway exit. It's in the same area where WinCo Foods is located. My family was hungry so I ordered the Ginger Salmon with white rice and a grilled pineapple add-on. And for my husband, I got the teriyaki steak & chicken combo with white rice and the "super bowl" add-on upgrade which is 2 poached eggs, grilled pineapple, and sliced avocado. He wanted the mild spice level on this one. Both my husband and daughter thought that their food was delicious. The salmon was grilled to perfection and the chicken and steak were tender and juicy. The add-ons just compliments the dishes really well. The place has a nice casual atmosphere. The owner can be seen grilling and he did come out to talk to customers and wipe tables down. 2 salmon bowls, a combo, and a steak bowl (pic not taken) ... for about $45. That's a fantastic deal!! The breakdown: -food was delicious and was a nice healthy alternative to the burgers and pizza joints nearby -the atmosphere of the place is casual dining, trendy looking, and very warm and inviting. -customer service from their owner and staff was great. They're nice and friendly. Definitely will recommend this place. We're for sure going to be repeat customers!

Tasty and customizable, I have a high tolerance for spicy so I had them as extra death crier spice which had amazing flavor and the heat was buildable, my husband wanted some nostalgia from his Seattle teriyaki days and said the teriyaki over the rice reminded him of it. Overall good place to eat!

What an awesome restaurant!!! The staff was super helpful and eager to answer questions and give a sample. The chicken had a lot of flavor- not just grilled like some other places. The teriyaki sauce has spice levels- I got a medium and it was just enough heat; my husband got the hot and enjoyed it too. I love that you can add fresh toppings - like grilled pineapple. You can also buy meal prep for healthy eating during the week which is cool!

I had dinner at Bowls and Cheers and honestly... this place is a hidden gem. A full 10/10…read moreexperience. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, and deeply personal. It's a family-run restaurant with an open kitchen, so you can see every dish being prepared right in front of you. It doesn't feel like a typical restaurant--it feels like you've been invited into their home. And what truly sets this place apart is the people behind it. The father took the time to walk us through the menu and explain each dish in detail. The mother shared the cultural and historical inspiration behind the plates, connecting the food back to the Philippines in such a meaningful way. Their son served us with professionalism and genuine kindness. You can feel the pride, love, and intention in everything they do. What we ordered: Pork Lumpia with Sweet Chili Sauce - perfectly crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Sizzlin' OINK Sisig - served hot with an egg on top... bold, savory, and absolutely addictive. Lechon OINKawali - crispy pork belly done right: crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Pancit Noodles - THE BEST NOODLES EVER!!!! And for dessert: Banana - Bowlicious - fried plantains tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle... the perfect sweet finish. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the fried sweet plantain banana desert but I have to say that the flavor still lingers in my mouth and my heart! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The sauces are clearly made from scratch, and the flavors are rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. And the value? Unbeatable. We ordered appetizers, three main dishes, and two desserts and the bill left me speechless in a good way :) If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine with heart, story, and flavor this is the place. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing last dinner in Utah! I will absolutely be back.

I ordered the Kid's Bowl (appetite wasn't huge and I always try to error on the smaller side of things if I'm unsure or new to a restaurant). Well it certainly did not disappoint! You get a choice of two bases. I went with the rice noodles and brown rice. It was a great relief to see they were equally portioned throughout the whole bowl instead of overflowing with one or the other. Requested Mongolian Beef as my entree and it was amazingly fresh along with all the other ingredients. I was very happy they put the dressing on the side (I requested teriyaki sauce) along with the add-on's of jalapenos and Sambal Chili (definitely could have used more of both of those on the bowl...they were absolutely phenomenal). Very impressed for a first time visitor and I definitely plan on visiting again very soon. The Kid's Bowl also comes with an Honest juice box in which I received fruit punch. Overall the meal was an excellent value for the price; along with healthy and fresh. Last but not least, I ordered their two dessert options which are the Chocolate Brownie and Chewy Marshmallow Bar. From what I understand they were delicious because they certainly didn't last very long on the countertop at home (lol). Highly recommend this restaurant and I'm looking forward to trying a larger bowl or their salads next time!

Our waitress was attentive during our order, I found the advertised "19.99 per person" feast to be perfect for us ! Only to find that there is small text stating that the $19.99 per person pays for one appetizer for the table ?? The advertisement insinuates that it includes the appetizer per person until you read the small text... I did find that people passed us multiple times with water while we sat with half empty cups for a lot of our meal. Our crab rangoon was room temp/cold and -in my opinion - completely lacking in flavor. My boyfriend didn't even realize there was cream cheese in them. The sauce was great but I felt like I had to drown every bite in the sauce in order to get good flavor payoff. We received our two soups. The egg drop soup is well made and flavorful ! The hot and sour soup was flavorful and had a lot of texture which was nice. However, at the bottom of my egg drop soup, I found an odd shaped and gelatinous blob...upon asking, the waitress wasn't even sure what it was. And I had bitten into it thinking it was a part of the soup !! Until I looked up what is in their soup out of curiosity and GELATINOUS BLOB WASN'T AN INGREDIENT. Our entrees were warm and flavorful ! I loved my pf changs spicy chicken. I loved the crunch and different textures that came with the sauce on the spicy chicken. My boyfriend's Mongolian beef was flavorful but I did find it to be a bit salty for my taste. He did have pieces at the bottom of his entree that were extremely overcooked bits of beef. They were so hard that he had to spit out a bite because he couldn't get through it. We completed our meal with a peanut butter and chocolate cream pie dessert. It was okay, truly nothing outstanding to say about it. Overall, I was disappointed in my visit today at PF Chang's - considering I have had a good experience at this location in the past. But that was over a year ago and I'm not sure what has changed since then. With how much money you spend at PF Chang's, you expect quality food and service and I found neither of those things in my visit today.

The staff were very nice and they were just putting the finishing touches on my food as I was arriving. They provided salads, which was a pleasant surprise, but they guessed on home many to give me. We were short one. The food wasn't terrible, but I've had better. Walnut Shrimp is usually my favorite dish. Their shrimp was really big. They weren't over cooked, but the breading was very thick. It was very crunchy. It was a little light on sauce as well. My kids loved the Strawberry Chicken. It was cooked well, and the breading wasn't too hard. The House Lo Mein was also a hit with the kids. Good flavor. Plenty of meat Was Orange Chicken was not as expected. Some of the pieces were a lot hotter than expected. I generally expect this to be a milder dish, but mild this was not. The Hunan Beef was probably the biggest letdown. It was spiced with jalapeños. Not quite what I was expecting.
