I went today to Weis to buy Snow Fox California Roll and it was not fresh. It takes one time, I'll never buy it again!

First time ever trying this restaurant, so I opted just to buy a few things for takeout in order to…read morecheck the quality, etc. I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and definitely will be returning! I ordered the Gyoza appetizer (which comes with six), the cheese wontons appetizer (also comes with six), and their squid salad. Everything was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was generous enough to include two ponzu sauces and two sweet and sour sauces. Both dipping sauces tasted absolutely phenomenal. The squid salad far exceeded my expectations and I only wish it was bigger because I definitely could have ate two of those! I requested very spicy and Tataki Sushi definitely delivered on that. The cheese wontons may appear a little smaller than some restaurants, however, they were all loaded with cream cheese which to me makes the wonton in itself. They are also cooked perfectly and very crispy. The gyoza was also cooked to perfection and loaded with ingredients. Everything was very fresh! Five stars earned and a HIGHLY recommend to all sushi lovers! I cannot wait to try their other dishes. Another bonus, the prices are very reasonable here and the quality is superb.

Nothing to brag about - VERY long wait for sashimi plates and sushi's. And I mean VERY LONG. My 5 year old who takes hours to eat was done with his bento box before we got the rest of the food. - I had ordered a jalapeño roll -- let's just say I got a wrapped jalapeño. I'm trying to eat sushi not a vegetable! (Picture attached) - the sunset roll was simply disgusting. I took one bite and was done. - my kids ordered the sashimi and nigiri plates -- they both spat some out as the sashimi had blood (??) spots on it and nigiri's came with bones. -- We saw many to go orders go before we were served. Please next time -- actually right now there wont be a next time-- , tell us it's going to take a long time for food to come out. And also please get a chef who can slice vegetables! What a disappointing night. Over $100 wasted!

Don't gauge by the parking because it's within walking distance of several neighborhoods. Lunch specials with loads of options and large portions. Plenty of inside seating and a sushi bar also. Little bit of everything, Chinese, sushi and a Thai curry, Japanese bentos and donburi. Service and staff are so welcoming. DoorDash table as soon as you walk in, loaded up with orders. This place is a favorite go to, no doubt.

The batter tasted like year old baking grease. They have a decent selection of sushi rolls, but the 2 I got sucked. Tiger eye, tasted like the cooking grease mentioned earlier. Barf I got a really spicy roll that was mid, but I'd never order again. I could go on, but I won't. Trust me, hard pass if you like sushi. Probably good if you're a high school kid that has never had sushi before. Sorry small business owner, but I was disappointed. The floors were dirty, none of the tables wiped clean. I hope things turn around.

After sleeping with a bucket on one side of my head and a garbage can on the other, this place deserves every last bad review that they will ever receive! Waited nearly two hours for a takeout order. I had absolutely zero issues with that, provided all of my detailed instructions were followed. I explicitly requested if they were going to charge me additional fees after my initial order total then to cancel the ENTIRE order! Not only was I charged additional fees to my credit card after the fact, my instructions weren't even followed! The most expensive item (especially since I was charged almost $5 extra for requesting lettuce) was the Dynamite Poke Bowl with rotten fish, rotten produce, saturated in sauce (that I explicitly requested ON THE SIDE), and most disgusting of all, warm creamy rice that was supposedly in their "homemade cream sauce". Absolutely nowhere in the description of the Dynamite Poke Bowl did it state it was going to have rice or give you an alternative option. Whatever is in that disgusting sauce should be retired and banned from the FDA! The supposed "fish" was all shredded barely there and nevermind I didn't receive the furikake with red onions that I was also charged additional for. The Kimchi was completely sour and opening the lid on the little cup you could smell the foulness. Yes, I did try a bite of everything that I ordered to leave an appropriate review. The Kurama Ebi (prawn) shows up with it's head and shell on which wasn't a big issue because I order seafood boils all the time. However, this poor prawn was all shell, no meat, and was discolored and mushy upon peeling. The Gyutan (beef tongue) was charred aplenty, but still impossible to eat because it was way too chewy and no amount of lemons were going to help it. I really was having a great day and that's why I thought I would be 3 for 3 and try this newer popular sushi restaurant and trust me, the pricey menu items certainly don't achieve the fresh experience that all of us Sushi lovers expect. Will never return and will forever be telling everyone about this horrible waste of time and money experience. And to think I actually left them a tip on top of the overcharges. Ha!
