We paid our bill by card, but planned on leaving the server a cash tip, which is something I personally prefer to do because I like knowing the server receives their tip directly. Apparently, because there was no tip written on the credit card receipt, the waitress came back to our table and loudly said, "You didn't tip." In a restaurant full of people, being publicly called out about a tip was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing. And the irony is that we had not complained once about the cold food, the service, or anything else. Needless to say, there won't be a next time. On top of the experience, the restaurant itself felt dirty and run down, and there was a noticeable odor. The two fish tanks--without fish and apparently without much attention either--certainly didn't help. They looked and smelled like they had been forgotten about a long time ago. Maybe the food and service are better on another night, but based on our experience tonight, we won't be finding out. Sometimes the best way to lose a customer isn't one big mistake. Yeah, the place does look very deserted but picks up after 7-7:30 pm.
