I love this place, the food is reasonably priced and tonight it was really amazing. We had an order of egg rolls, the coconut curry chicken, and for sushi we got The two rolls for 10 something which came with miso soup. The egg rolls were super crispy and hot, loved them! Miso soup was not overly salty. Lo mein is full of fresh garlic, cooked in oil, and perfectly tender not overcooked. The sushi was great I had no complaints. This is the only place I've found in town that not only delivers, but also serves Sushi with the soy paper instead of nori. So that's definitely a plus in my book. It's hard enough finding places that have soy or rice paper, and with so few places in town that deliver, I'll definitely keep this place in mind in the future. Now, all that being said; the beef and broccoli, while being a huge portion, did not taste anything like typical beef and broccoli I've tasted. I used to absolutely love this place. The food was always on point and staff is friendly. It was our go to and we would eat there a few time a week sometimes. However, they started using like Tyson fried chicken that you could buy at the deli counter at wal mart on their cashew chicken and it ruined the entire dish. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The place was pretty busy but the staff was very friendly and worked efficiently. The atmosphere was really nice and it seemed like the staff was happy to work there. We both got the 2 sushi roll special which comes with a choice of miso soup, egg drop soup, or hot and sour soup. We both got the miso soup and it was A+ I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the eel avocado roll. My husband got the spicy salmon roll and the eel cucumber roll. It was reasonably priced at $9.95 for 2 rolls with soup. My only complaint was they made me a spicy salmon roll by mistake. It was good however so I didn't even bother to point it out to them. The spicy salmon rolls were also very small. Much more so than other places I have been but for the price we really couldn't complain. If you want some fresh sushi at a reasonable price then stop in. I was in Springfield on business - after arriving at hotel I didn't feel like going back out. I was excited at first to find this place in the it delivered sushi. I fully expected since it was a restaurant (and not a grocery store) that the sushi would be fresh. I've had better grocery store sushi than this place! Either they don't make it fresh every day or their quality of fish is very poor. The tuna, salmon and yellow tail in the roll were mushy. I tried on piece and couldn't eat the rest - it was inedible. I really like this place. I am a huge fan of take-out, so I can't rate the inside but the take out is always fresh and ready when I arrive to get it. I get the 2 roll + soup sushi combo and feel that the sushi could compete with any in Springfield, just for a more reasonable price. Now, I don't enjoy the stuff coated in goo or lit on fire so I am just comparing the rolls on freshness of fish, ratio and freshness of rice, ect. My wife and I love sushi and japinese food and the Teriyaki House has impressed us greatly. For about $25 you can eat like a king for 2 people and be stuffed and have to take home leftovers. The food is killer, from the giant rice bowls topped with large quantities of chicken to the equally large bowls of dumpling soup(this is a must to have here I swear you will love it) you will leave here with cash left in your wallets from more than fair prices and the portions they give you. I almost bet you can feed 4 people on $25 now if you all share!! But above and beyond the food stands the staff, attentive, kind and more than ready to fulfill any need you may have. The service was excellent, very friendly and very accommodating. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the seating. Kind of tight, and the bench seats along the wall were uncomfortable. Unable to comfortably lean back because of several small, round decorative "cushions" on the wall. Love the food, the teriyaki chicken and teriyaki seafood are awesome. Service however...has been absolutely TERRIBLE every time I've gone, which is really unfortunate because I do like the food. Multiple times we've sat there for forever before someone even comes up to greet us, all the while we see servers standing right on the other side of the room, even looking at us but don't come over. Not all that good. I originally ordered Pad Thai and their's is super spicy. Apparently that is a normal thing but everywhere else I've ordered from it hasn't. It gave no indication on the website that it was at all spicy. Even their ginger dressing was spicy. They were nice enough to replace it with chicken lo mein, but that was no all that good either. It was just noodles and chicken. I prefer mine with veggies and a bit more unique. Definitely will no be ordering from here again but it was more of personal taste then anything they did.
