We had been looking for good Teriyaki for two years and this place had come into proximity to us. I had seen it being developed for some time and it's been open for a little while. They have a small parking lot with a drive thru. They have nice bench seating inside and about six or seven tables total in an L shape dining room. You can order with someone or you can use a kiosk to place your order. They have a rewards program so if you eat from here enough it could pay off. It was an easy process and I took a seat to wait things out. It got busy after I had walked in and orders were flying in and out. My partner and I got the chicken/steak teriyaki plate that came with a salad, slice of cucumber and thousand island dressing(they have ranch and Italian) the surprise was the grilled jalapeño that came with the plate. Mine was spiciest of the two. I really enjoyed the meat, but my favorite was the steak. The sauce that came with it was good and the rice was terrific. The price for it was reasonable so I would definitely make this my go-to spot for Teriyaki. They do make burritos, wraps and burgers so might want to try those one day but happy that my experience at this new spot was excellent. read more

I ordered the half-and-half bowl--chicken and steak, with extra onions. Portion-wise, it was solid--plenty of rice and a balanced protein mix. The steak gave me a decent bite, especially when the smaller pieces picked up the sauce. Those pieces felt surprisingly tender and were probably my favorite bites in the bowl. That said, the steak itself was still a bit bland and didn't seem like it had much of a marinade behind it. Most of the flavor came from the teriyaki sauce rather than the meat itself. The chicken had the confidence of something that had been seasoned. Unfortunately I got baited hard. I ended up dumping the whole side of teriyaki sauce on it just to get it edible. It did have crispy grilled edges, but it chicken overall was DRY. Which made it even more disappointing. The teriyaki sauce was solid. It had enough saltiness and sweetness to bring the bowl together and honestly, it did a lot of the heavy lifting. I didn't pick up much in the way of garlic or ginger notes, so it wasn't particularly complex, but it worked and complemented the bowl well. The bowl came out to about $16 and change. I left full, so I can't complain too much. I was just hoping for a little more flavor. Overall, it tastes like a lot of the teriyaki spots around here: solid, dependable, and filling. read more

Hands down one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had at a fast food joint, but it is a restaurant and I have to be honest about the food I had: So, I had the chicken lunch bowl special for $8.99, which included a soft drink. The rice was cooked in tap water and you could taste the minerals, the chicken was so parched, dry and burnt that I couldn't finish it, and the vegetables were obviously frozen and were not cooked all the way through. The restaurant dining area was actually very clean and they had a self serve kiosk which worked perfectly. I definitely won't go back, unless it's an emergency, but the staff were absolutely amazing! read more

Medium teriyaki chicken. Over brown rice. Underwhelming. The price point is a little too much. The basic bowl is just protein and rice, no veggies . Some chopped scallion. Brown rice tasted strange, tasted some undercooked pieces and some pieces that tasted dated. I got the medium chicken bowl paid $15 cash for my order got $1.43 back. You can honestly get yoshinoya at a better price and more. The bowl needs at least veggies...shouldn't be an extra charge. read more

Today I ordered a large grilled shrimp bowl with steamed vegetables for my wife. Shortly after eating, she became sick and vomited, and we discovered there were pieces of chicken and steak mixed into the dish. My wife has a severe allergy to land animal proteins, so this was a serious health risk not just an inconvenience. Customers with food allergies should be able to trust that their orders are prepared correctly and without cross-contamination. I also paid $19 for a meal that could not be eaten. This was our first time ordering since you opened, which makes the experience especially disappointing. While she said the food tasted good, the safety issue is very concerning. Came for the 8.99 Chicken Bowl special that I had seen on instagram today, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. For 50 cents more you could upgrade your drink to an Agua Fresca . I chose horchata and it was really good. The actual chicken teriyaki bowl was delicious and such a good deal for the price. The food was good. I got the chicken and beef combo over rice. The service was also great. Very helpful and also recommended some sauce to try. Place was chill. I was glad finally a teriyaki spot in the lbc. I would honestly say this place is 3.5 and the only reason I didn't give them a 5 was because of price! It's a bit high for what you get. But I do appreciate they use a better quality of meat vs other teriyaki spot I have been to. So yeah I guess if you REALLY are craving a teriyaki bowl or plate and you don't want drive far you gotta pay the price smh! Customer service is great here! The man working the register is very friendly and takes care of everyone that walks through the doors. The food was so good! We ordered teriyaki burgers with fries and the burgers were sooo saucy and the fries were crispy and well seasoned! We also tried the fried Oreos which were bomb.com. The place is relatively new, replacing the KFC that was here so everything is spic and span. While the prices are definitely on the pricer side it's well worth it for the quality. The teriyaki bowls in my opinion are over priced because they are extremely skimpy with the protein, like unbelievably very dissatisfying skimpy. Like are you serious skimpy, like you might still be hungry when you're done. Does not come with veggies, literally a quick meal you can make at home and for the same amount of money you'd at least have some left overs. Portions are just too stingy. And I assumed that if you got the plate instead of the bowl that meant more meat, but the plate just comes with a salad you're not going to give af about lmao. read more

Just went there not too long ago. Balloon and ambience looks amazing. I thought it was gonna be some great food place. You know what you expect out of a celebratory licking place. The food was just so mad had no flavor and let's not talk about the portions. they're so picky on it.
