Ordered takeout and was satisfied. I can be a bit picky with Pad Thai, it's a staple and typically varies by restaurant. The tamarind base was very flavorful and coated the dish well. I do wish there were more crunchy veggies (brocolli, sprouts, carrot) to contrast the thick and sticky dish. Their egg rolls are too good. Fried perfectly and quite hefty at that! read more

What a wonderful first time visit at Thai BBQ on Temple and 7th. The menu was quite huge and made it difficult to choose. But today I ordered Pad Thai with Shrimp. And I loved it! The noodles were firm and flavorful. The veggies and egg quite fresh, and the huge shrimp were perfectly cooked. All the flavors blended to a very delicious dish. I wish I had more appetite or a bigger stomach. I'll definitely be back for Sticky Rice with Mango. I'll bring my Bff next time so we can try other dishes. Service was on point. I absolutely love Thai BBQ, you can probably tell from all my photos. I'm pretty particular about Thai food, and this place never misses. The consistency alone keeps me coming back, but honestly, I love everything about it: the food, the customer service, and the overall experience. Alright went out on a late night walk decided to grab a quick bite nothing to heavy this place was still open and it's located next to a liquor store and donut shop the male that greeted me was very nice and polite I ordered the crab fired rice and can I tell you it hit the spot all of it made to order it wasn't greasy served hot and he allowed me to sit even though it was close to closing time but the rice to crab ratio was perfect as well not to much rice and the didn't skim on the crab mixed in I didn't add a little bit of chili sauce and flakes to a few sides and it still tasted delicious recommend this place very nice ppl the place it's over crowded I love the set up not overly decorated oh not sure it if was imitation crab or real crab so if you're inquiring you'll have to wait for and update or call/go for your self and see but I will return soon thank you so much for your service and hospitality read more

Came to Thai Bbq today 8/20/25 and place was nice and clean. I was craving some Thai Food and I happen to be close by so came to try it. I had a Thai tea ( I give it a 10/10) I loved it. Some fried rice and bbq ribs ( I enjoyed the rice 8/10 , but the ribs , not really. I added the entire dish of prik nam pla myself and still found the noodles lacking the depth those sauces should provide. The only dish that worked was the satay (listed as Satae). The beef was well seasoned and properly grilled; the peanut sauce was merely adequate. I may stop in later for a drink if the hotel bar is expensive, but I will not order food here again and did not take any leftovers.

So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. It was a good idea just to do take out and eat at the hotel here.

Meatballs and salads came out within minutes. Meatballs was great, not too hot. I took one bite of the salad and it was fresh. Beer was cold and tasty. Pizza came in no time, hot like a pie. When I fold the pizza in half it made that sweet crunchy sound that only real pizza lovers know. The taste was delicious, good blend of pepperoni, mushroom and cheese. Of course someone wanted to try dessert too in the end. Put this on your list folks, a must try.

GENERIC. I visited this place last week to check it out. I found it by accident the week before when I was passing by. I've been to many Original Thai BBQ and so far my gold standard is the one owned by a friend, Chad (in Chino Hills). As expected I ordered my usual S6, Angel Wings Dinner. I've had this dish so many times I know which Original Thai BBQ fails to deliver. The service was great. The server was very friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was very generic. They do use batter to coat the chicken wings instead of the other Original Thai BBQ that breads them but they seem not to know how to make them crispy. Chad and his brothers seems to know the trick, fresh oil maybe? This place surely did not deliver. Another point that this place did not deliver is the shrimp on the shrimp fried rice ... they were small and not fresh. I love seafood and I know if this thing was swimming or chilling in the freezer for a while. It is really a good thing I did not order the shrimp pad thai, which Chad is also my gold standard. Anyway, for a quick bite this place is good enough to satisfy your Thai cravings. It delivers like P.F. Changs deliver on the Chinese side of things. Parking ... at your own risk. The hubs and I were pretty disappointed. Their prices are competitive with other Thai joints in the area but the value is not--pretty inexcusable portions atop iceberg lettuce for volume. While we were there the cops showed up to the parking lot and arrested a guy selling crack sitting outside the restaurant at a table. That was the best part of the meal for sure. Second time, they charged me more justifying it that It was their policy to charge more for no ice. Third time, I had perfect service because the employee working there didn't charge me extra. I order lunch at least 2-3 times a week. It's pretty close to where I work. The best choice I recommend is lunch special which comes with a choice of two chicken and two beef kabobs along with peanut sauce and a side of rice and salad. The price is around $6.50.
