Absolutely terrible. Beef tasted like it was boiled and chicken was very very dry. I wouldn't be surprised if this is precooked chicken that just put in the microwave and heated up. Barely any veggies. The people that work there obviously don't know how to cook with wok and/or don't care. Eating this made me think is this even beef. If microwaved food and not sure where the meat comes from the. This is place for you. Remember watching Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey. An Italian place was buying everything in the menu pre made and then just microwaving it to heat it up. Kid you not. This is what this place is. Maybe this place started out great and have tried to cut cost and have gone this route. The food was f'n terrible. Didn't even feel comfortable giving it to the dogs and I tossed it in the trash. Wish I could do Zero but it won't let me post! My food was ordered and within 10 minutes I was there to pick it up. The gal put my styrofoam container of food in the microwave. At this point I should have left but I was in complete shock. I will never order from there again. Couldn't eat it and the cabbage was rotten-if you can't cook your chicken fully on your grill that you have to cut corners using a microwave it's Disgusting Also there was no one else in there at the time I picked up my food so seriously folks what the F excuse! They keep it simple with a 8 dish menu, but that allows them to make every dish perfectly. I ordered the Tofu Teriyaki bowl. The tofu was a little "moist" for me I prefer firmer tofu. The Teriyaki sauce was surprisingly sweet, a lot of place make it way to salty. The decor was last updated according to the hanging business improvement award in 1997 but you'd never guess with its modern ambience. The koi pond is so cute the koi swim right up for "kisses" they are worth the visit alone. Food came out fast and hot. This is a busy place with many regulars. I'm not sure why. It might be because people want strict consistency. When it comes to strict consistency do not ask for anything that isn't on the menu. There are no substitutes or variations made, period. Must times even asking for them to go light on the sauce is too much change for them too. I think $7.50 is a bit much for a six inch bowl of rice, cabbage plus a few other veggies and half a cup of chicken, all but smothered with sauce. Service is fast but don't expect much personality let alone a smile. I have noticed the cabbage and other veggies can be a bit in the "fresh yesterday" side and rice can be dry as a popcorn fart in the afternoons. Needless to say, if you like your food the same everytime and don't mind fresh with a new definition, its the place to eat. read more

There's a lot to like about this little hole-in-the-wall. First, 8 menu items to choose from. How many Oriental restaurants have you been to with over 100 choices on the menu? I like that they keep it simple and specialize in 8 different items. They're quick because of it also. It's counter service. No waitresses. The inside is nice but not fancy. Not a lot on the menu, handful of things. Customer service is lacking but the lead lady. The food is good but the cost is a little expensive. Wish it was a little cheaper. They charge for refills on soda so that's a scan. Don't try to refill it when they are working on your order. They have ears like hawks and they will charge you for it. read more

Ordered over phone repeated my self four times and still lady said ok. I pickup and got home and order was wrong. I called and they treated me like it was my fault when I have ordered from them before the same way and never had a problem. I have been to dozens upon dozens of teriyaki chicken joints and this one is in my top 10%. For $7.50 I get a lot of chicken. It is rarely dry. The rice is always fresh and moist. The place is clean and the staff friendly. If I had any complaint it is they put too much sauce on. I can live with that. But the 2 times I asked for light sauce they placed a drop or two on it, so maybe ask for sauce in a side dish. Nonetheless this is excellent chicken teriyaki. read more

I've never been inside the Teriyaki Land establishment, but I've eaten food from there three times now. You see, my boss LOVES it and orders from there fairly frequently. Like all the time. Like they probably named the chicken teryaki meal with double red sauce after him! This week, he picked up meals for a small group of us and all of us kept commenting on how good the chicken was! So I ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki plate in which I had delivered from uber eats and when I got the food It absolutely smelled TERRIBLE! Just like wet dog! My apartment still smells like a wet dog! I mean it was a really strong smell.It was not the uber driver or anything like that I dont believe as her car was nice and clean, no dog, the food was in a delivery bag and basically the smell is coming directly from the meat! It cost $36 for two adults and two kids. People are saying its reasonably priced but I don't think it should have cost more than $25. The other drawback is no free refills. By far the best teriyaki restaurant I've ever been to in oregon. Its not a full service restaurant so you don't have to worrry about tip. Basically you grab your own silverwear, napkins, and water and seat yourself... its a great setup!! The portion size of the Chicken Teriyaki plate is awesome and the taste.. oh so good :) Initially I was turned off by the idea that the menu was so slim... seriously they only got chk bowl, chk plate, beef bowl, beef plate... and a combo dish... and thats about it... but... the owner explained to me that the reason why they do that is because they want to make the few dishes they have the best they can and keep cost low... instead of having 20 mediocre dishes... make total sense now, because they seem to have perfected their teriyaki sauce and charbroiled chkn.
