Conveyor belt sushi joint not too far off 205 exit 8. Our new favorite sushi place. They made soy paper rolls for me as I don't like seaweed. Until now, I have not been a fan of tuna rolls. But their spicy tuna rolls with the soy paper were delicious. All the fish, completely clear of any fishy smell, well made rolls perfectly made rice, it was an outstanding example of what great sushi taste like. I had the green dragon roll, another first for me, and it was also everything you would expect from tempura fried shrimp covered in rice, avocado, soy sauce. We shared the orange and red moose cakes, and they're just tasty a little bits of orange and strawberry highly recommend. What stood out for me was the variety of sushi that was available on the conveyor belt. Plenty of cold options plenty of hot options, they even had fried shrimp by itself on a plate. I think they even had a plate of the mini yogurt drinks, something I've never seen before. The service was fast. Everyone was friendly. The prices are good. The only downside to you go is it makes it more crowded for when I go, but you should go. Primarily it's a sushi bar around the conveyor belt, but there are also some booths. I Love love this restaurant! We are always on the lookout for good sushi that is more causal, with conveyer belt experience - it's so fun! Most places are missing something however BUT NOT Sushi Hurray! The sushi was varied and fresh, and delicious!! They had amazing miso soup, and hot tea. I've been a regular here since I moved to the area back in 2019. Used to live in the San Francisco Bay area so I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to sushi. The ambience isn't fancy, but the food is consistently good. Honestly, to me at the end of the day, that's the most important metric. Consistently hard working staff who care. There's always a wait but it's so worth it. The pricing is very reasonable and I like that the smaller sizes of each individual dish allow you to have more variety without getting super full. During the pandemic, I made sure to order lots of takeout because I wanted to make sure this lovely local business made it through. Very happy to see them thriving. I now live about 20 minutes away but when I crave sushi, Sushi Hurray is always my go to spot. Just recently returned with a friend the other night who just moved back here from Idaho. She is the person who originally took me there when I first moved here. We had a lovely dinner. And as always, it was great to sit in our favorite booth, enjoy our dinner and catch up. It's hard to pick a favorite item. I tend to pick up some different items that are going by on the conveyor belt and then I generally order a few things that I'm craving. Friday night they have uni and I do adore that so I try to stop in on a Friday at least once a month. Takeout is always an option too if you're in more of a rush. Located in a small shopping complex Exterior & Interior are what you'd expect for the this type of complex/restaurant. This is your typical conveyer belt sushi restaurant. Some booth & some bar style seating. Service was good as the employees are friendly & welcoming. Prices were a little more than expected, but it is West Linn. IYKYK. Although it stayed busy some of the Sushi I got off the belt did not taste fresh. My recommendation would be to order something not from the belt. Their food is good and eating at the restaurant is fine. Delivery or pick up is the problem as the order is never ready when they say it should be. I'm surprised the delivery services still allow them on their platforms honestly since the poor drivers have to sit around for up to an hour to wait for the food to be ready after the scheduled pick up time. read more

This was such an amazing accidental discovery! I have an event I was attending in SE Portland and then a massage in West Linn. There is a restaurant that I loved in Oregon City and figured I would use my to hours in between the event and massage to go there and get dinner. I did not want to go into a massage filled with piles of heavy carb food. Then I discovered that restaurant had closed permanently in the winter. There really are not a huge amount of restaurant options over here. I searched and found Sushi Hurray listed being fairly close to my massage spot. This seems like it is located away from things but they were pretty consistently impressively busy. The staff were all super nice and helpful and made for a relaxing dinner. The rolls were all well made and everything was generous so there prices are great. Small but so good!! This is one of the better sushi train restaurants in the area! Their hot dishes are actually hot and they cold stuff is actually cold!! We chose piping hot fried shrimp, gyoza and egg rolls along with a huge assortment of sushi roll dishes. All of them were exceptionally good! There was 6 of us in our party and despite how small this place is they made a great effort to fit us all in. First they cleared a booth for us but then came to let us know that another group was leaving if we'd rather sit at the counter. We chose the counter so they very quickly cleared the space, wipes it down, and had new chopsticks and napkins in front of us before we even got settled in our chairs. I'd give them 5 stars just for the accommodating service but then they topped it off with having great food too!! There's many selections to choose from and if you don't see the specific one you're hoping for they'll gladly make dishes upon request. My daughter loves the salmon on rice so when I asked for one for her the chef made 5 and added them to the train. She ate them all so he made more for the train! They even have some fresh fruit, small desserts, and a couple vegetarian plates. This place is definitely worth a stop to give them a try. We'll be back soon to see if this is the norm for this place or if their evening weekend staff is just an exceptionally great staff. Thanks for the great meal. read more

Came here based on the reviews and we aren't disappointed. Everything on the belt was so fresh and flavorful. The variety was good too. We came in at 1pm on a Sunday. The place is pretty small, 3 booths to squeeze in 4 and seating around the belt for about 16. The rice was moist sticky, the shrimp warm and juicy and the fish was fresh. Even the egg rolls were crispy and fresh. We had a variety of 10 plates, yellow, white and red. The 2 of us walked out full and satisfied for under $25. read more

Great sushi! I enjoyed coming here frequently for lunches when I worked in the area. They're fast, and all my orders were always fresh.

The sushi here is usually really good, but something happened today that completely put me off from it. I had just sat down and picked my first dish when and employee sat next to me .. no problem, employees need to eat too... The restaurant was pretty busy, so she was directecly next to me without much space between... She put an empty plate in what space was between us and began to eat her food. After only a few bites, she began to spit chunks of food directly from her mouth to the plate. There was no way for me to avoid seeing the plate of regurgitated food because it was directly next to my plate. She did it about 4 times, and I had stopped eating bc I lost my appetite... Finally she spit another huge chunk of slimy chewed up food out of her mouth and it popped on the disgusting pile of spit-up... I gagged so bad and nearly vomited, and said "I'm sorry, but that is so gross"... Thankfully she moved the plate and sat somewhere else... But then a customer came in and sat there .. and the spot wasn't wiped down before the customer began eating... Just an off-putting experience read more
