I had one at the Burlington location back then and liked it. Since it's open in the loop, I go and get them. The vegs that I have to pay for are very undercooked. It's like it was 'cooked' for a couple of seconds, and I put it in my bowl to the point that the cabbages are bitter and inedible. The quantity of chicken lost 1/4 of its value back then. Idk if its only this location or now Burlington same. The only great thing is their cashier Jesus. He is very attentive not only to me but to every guest. Also their pot sticker is not bad. It's all in the name, this is definitely teriyaki madness...and yes, in a good way. The texture and taste of the beef teriyaki is a bit comparable to teriyaki sticks from take out Chinese food places but I find that their beef teriyaki is a bit softer and sweeter, which I love! There's like a glaze and so easy to chew. The white rice is simple but helps to dilute the flavor of the teriyaki a bit. The veggies are very simple but so good. I love the crunch of it and the freshness. It's mostly cabbage, zuchinni, and carrots so also vegetables on the sweeter side. Ordered a spicy chicken bowl with noodles and a side of the "mad spicy sauce". Spicy chicken teriyaki was on the hot side but I love spicy things; regret not getting "mad spicy". Noodles had great flavor but were overcooked IMO. They do offer wok fried noodles for $3 more; this would have definitely improved the texture of the noodles. My order came to just under $18 (reg. Spicy chicken bowl w/ noodles, drink & side of sauce). On the pricier side but I don't mind paying for quality food. One of the best quick food options in the area. Really good meal made to order. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION-took my money and refused to give me my food or a refund! Ordered 2 items via their app for delivery (not DoorDash or GrubHub, I used the TMad app). Driver only delivered one of them. I told him before he left that he was missing one item but he could not speak English so I called the store but only a manager could help me, and of course there was no manager on duty. I had to call multiple times a few days in a row. Finally I got a manager on the phone and they offered to refund my credit card. Weeks later, still no refund. Continued calls, still getting the run around. Finally I went to complain in person and was informed that they have a new owner and they will not honor any issues or complaints from previous owner. Cruised in here for lunch with a co-worker and once again tried Mad Spicy on the Spicy Chicken, again over veggies only. I got the large and honestly there's two meals in here. Mad Spicy is a low medium on the chile-head scale but honestly it's got a really nice burn and isn't so bonkers you can't taste the vegetables underneath. I should emphasize that you CAN taste the vegetables because they're fresh and probably steamed instead of three-day old boiled ones like you'd find at a stand in the mall food court. My coworker loved it, I'm glad I had a nutritionally solid and tasty lunch without buns or deep fried anything, and it's a win all around. Highly recommended! read more

Just okay & expensive for the quality of food & amount. My first visit i got the medium size spicy chicken with eggroll & drink and it comes to $15. I know with inflation things are more expensive but compared to other fast food asian places (like in Burlington mall or a Panda express) i felt the quality & amount of food could be better. The spicy chicken flavor was good and not really spicy but my 3 stars is the chicken was overly burnt. I'm ok with my meats a little charred but most of the chicken was burnt. My second visit i got the steak teriyaki and it was too sweet. I'm not sure if the steak is premarinated and soaked in the sauce but it was too sweet for me and i wasn't able to eat it. I wanted to like this place but ill probably stick to Chipotle next door or Pressed accross the street. read more

I rarely write reviews but the food was...laughably bad. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't also overpriced. I ordered the chicken breast teriyaki with white rice, crab rangoon, and a fountain soda. The total was $24. I would have been better off eating at the mall Chinese place or Wegmans nearby. The chicken was chewy and stringy, and the sauce was just...drizzled on top?? Rice was fine but definitely not worth this price. The one star is for the crab rangoon and the fountain soda. At least the soda was unlimited so I could wash the taste out of my mouth. I am a TERRIBLE cook, and I could make teriyaki about 100 times better than this place. Again, I do understand it's basically fast food. But the price should match the quality. read more

Been here a number of times and have basically tried everything. The main issue is that they use poor quality meat and try to disguise it by dousing it in decent sauce, and charge a lot to do so. The regular thigh meat is edible (although they always seem to burn it to a black crisp with all these small hard pieces mixed in there), but the breast option is not edible. I have never seen a chicken breast like this, it's a chemical-like taste with a dense foam texture that gag-reflexed me on my first bite. The beef is thicker shaved steak with this gritty texture overly-salted, tastes like a soggy beef jerky. The sad thing is that the sauces actually are decent, if they used quality chicken and steak tips, it would be great! If I end up going here, the spicy chicken or orange chicken aren't too bad. The white and brown rice is actually very nice quality, but the noodles are tasteless except for a stale oil taste. Their veggies aren't bad either and always taste fresh, but they upcharge you if you just want broccoli for some reason(?). The staff doesn't seem to care much and are often curt and off putting. The place does however have a well-kept eating area that always seems clean. All in all I was expecting a better version of the standard shopping mall teriyaki, but I like the mall food significantly better. Sorry guys, I was very excited when you came to area but the quality, and the prices for that quality, tends to direct me elsewhere. Really hope it improves! read more

I need to keep reminding myself that they had only been open a few days when I went so I shouldn't assume that it's always going to be as inefficient as it was. I ordered a chicken breast teryaki bowl and a chicken eggroll. Nobody asked me what size bowl I wanted - I got what I guess is just a regular. Then I had to wait 45 minutes for my food - totally inexcusable. They weren't that busy at all as it was a random time of day. Another woman came in and she had ordered one order of crab rangoon on their app and was there exactly when they said it would be ready - she then had to wait another 20 minutes for them. I don't have any idea what is taking them so long; neither of us asked for anyting special or customized. Once I got the food I really enjoyed the eggroll and dipping sauce. I had asked for extra teryaki sauce and was told it was usually something they charge for but since i had to wait they would give me one for free - I examined that entire menu while i was sitting waiting and I didn't see anywhere where you could/should buy extra sauce if you want it. I saw dozens of containers of it at the 'to go' area so I assumed it wasn't a big deal to just ask for one when picking up my order. I'll know for next time. I did need the extra sauce as my chicken breast was hammered! I asked for veggies on my bowl and all I got was lots of cabbage and carrots with one small slice of zucchini - not really what they showed in the picture. And I thought they were expensive for what you were getting - $15 for an eggroll and way overcooked chicken and noodle bown that i had to wait far too long for is steep. Like I said, they were brand new so I will give them one more try in a few weeks just to see if they 'figured it all out yet' but unless they drastically change that will be my last visit to teryaki madness.
