Food is good, hate the company It's been a hot minute since I've been to this location. So decided to drop in for a lunch. Two people manning the entire restaurant, deep in the orders and unable to assist the front. Going to the kiosk, put in a bowl and everything is an up charge. Want noodles? Extra. Want veggies? Extra. Want them combined with the protein? Extra. Then there's upsales after each bowl entry and when you go to check out. Even after all that, two junior bowls end up costing 36 bucks. The portion was fine for the price paid, and the quality of the food was good for a chain. None of my problems are the fault of the employees, they literally had no time between making orders to address the inbound customers. The problem is the company, and they are openly hostile towards their customer base. Unless you specifically are looking for a teriyaki bowl, I would highly advise that you look local and support those businesses before choosing this place. I received a promotional coupon for here and decided to try it out! FOOD -I opted for a spicy chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies -I really like that the veggies are included and that they allowed me to get it with no onions. -very fresh bowl, veggies cooked well still with a little bite (crisp) to them -the chicken is dark meat which I love, cooked perfectly with some nice grill marks! -I think the spice factor can go up a little bit for the spicy chicken, but I will say it did build as I continued eating. -I thought the bowl was a bit lacking in flavor for my first few bites but I poured some of the teriyaki side sauce they give you on it and felt satisfied. I didn't use much but just to help coat the veggies/rice that didn't get much of the coating from the chicken on them. THE STAFF -very friendly, answered my questions no problem -kind, efficient THE ATMOSPHERE -it's in a little plaza so no outdoor seating but a good amount of indoor spots -I was here at lunch time on a Friday and could easily get a table to eat at -from what I saw (mostly sticking to front of store/near cash register area) it looked very neat and clean Overall, I would go back! The portion size (I got a regular) was really good for me to eat a hearty lunch and have some leftovers. Wifey had an appointment so the kids and I went for an adventure and ended up at Teriyaki Madness. We saw this chain restaurant during our California trip, and found out that one had opened here in Manchester. It's a fast casual restaurant - seats feel like you're at Taco Bell, or even the mall. You walk up and order at the counter, pick your rice (white, fried, noodles), veggies, and your protein (beef, chicken, shrimp, and I think they have orange chicken according to the sign), pay, then wait. 5 minutes or so and they brought out the food to us. The food was good and plentiful - the kids each got the medium with no veggies, while I got the large with veggies. I'll be honest and say that I prefer the teriyaki sauce at a nearby establishment. If you're in the area and feel like a teriyaki bowl (and don't feel like making the trek to the mall food court), this is the place to go. read more

I have been seeing this location for a while when going to Starbucks, but I was curious to try it out because I am very loyal to the teriyaki spot in the mall lol Let's just say this is an upgrade! The service was great, the staff was very helpful when trying to make my selection. Overall, the shop was cute and clean. Now the chicken was phenomenal and the fried rice was so fresh. They also do a vegetable mix with zucchini, which was super different compared to most teriyaki places where you just get broccoli and carrots. The second time I tried it I got the chicken breast and I will say that was a better choice than the chicken thigh, just because I am a white meat lover, so it made all the difference in flavor. I would totally recommend this place. They also do a meal prep option where you can buy it already separated in containers for a bundle deal which is amazing! read more

This review will be limited to a delivery rather than in house eating. I was looking forward to trying this place but they let me down with my order being 1/2 wrong or missing things. Ordered Teriyaki steak and got sent Tofu (yuck). Ordered the steamed dumplings with sauce, no sauce delivered...I feel like I got 1/2 of someone else's order. I had the spicy tofu bowl and I thoroughly enjoyed it for a quick and hearty lunch. I don't get the negative reviews here; for a "fast food" option, it is very good and dare I say healthier than others in this space. I'm happy they are here. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. Loved it! Never been so it was that feeling when you don't know what or how to order. The cashier walked us through it and we got 2 large teriyaki chicken bowl meals with noodles, an egg roll and an order of edamame as our sides. We each got sodas and that was $38 before $ $30 after coupon. They make the food fresh so it took around 15 minutes and we ate there. There's not many tables...just 6 or so so takeout & delivery must be the thing - we saw them bagging up orders. The egg rolls were crispy and unique (chicken), but small. Still.very good!. Edamame was excellent! Nice large salt and the edamame were large, plump & fresh. Much better than a sushi restaurant we recently visited. The chicken is great! Love the grilled skin / exterior and moist tender chicken underneath. The outside gets charred and dry in small areas but 90% is moist and tender and the flavor blends perfectly. I loved the chicken. Noodles were good, drier on top so you have to toss them and then perfect. Veggies were fresh and crispy cooked how I like them. The portion was generous and I took a little home. I really like the place. In the downside, not many tables seems it can fill up quickly if you want to dine in and it's not cheap ( $38+ tip without coupon for 2) but no fast food restaurants are cheap anymore! My husband and I went here for date night because I've wanted to try it for a while. It did not disappoint. We both got regular size bowls which was more than enough. He got the steak with noodles and veggies and I got the orange chicken, fried rice and veggies. We also got the potstickers and eggroll. Every thing is made fresh, nothing warmed up or sitting out. The steak was perfect, not chewy or burnt. The orange chicken wasn't hard or anything. Everything was perfect. Will definitely return. The employees were very nice and helpful and explained the rewards system they have and the cashier was nice enough to bring our food to us. The only thing I can say is preorder or be prepared to wait but again everything was fresh and obviously made to order. read more

Went on Friday 4/11 around 4:30. Placed my order. Was told there would be a 10 minute wait. Okay. Turned out to be closer to 20-25 minutes. The chicken was overcooked and dry. I don't know what the heck the veggies were. Some squash, and then strips of onion and, well, your guess is as good as mine. The rice was the only thing that was decent. Inside completely empty so you understand how busy they weren't. My food was ready at 1:41. I watched it sit in the counter for 13 minutes until I walked out at 1:54 after watching someone walk in after me get their takeout and leave. And watch the cashier who should not be allowed to work the front take over 12 minutes to pack up one order while sharing with everyone that her brain hurt. Also had people in front of me order while the cook gave the takeout person who walked in last their food and they left first. So the guy who came in last was first served while the three other customers stood there and watched complete incompetence at work. Don't tell me you're only one person. Try asking who is next instead of letting people shout out names and that's the order you go in. Hire better because purple hair cannot fill a bag in under 15 minutes. I love everything about teriyaki madness's food. This is what I consider 5star fast food. It is super delicious. Tastes majorly fresh. I am a fanatic of charcoal bbq flavor which I can absolutely taste in every bite of meat. They may not have the largest variety of food, but everything they do have tastes amazing. read more

We have to drive from NH to NJ or PA a few times a year and each time we usually stop in this town to get Chipotle for lunch, since we know what to expect, and it's quick so we can get back on the road. We saw Teriyaki Madness and decided to switch things up, and we're so glad we did. Still meets the "quick stop" criteria but offers much better portions and flavor. Only drawback is that the chicken teriyaki bowl was so tasty that I now suffer from the mania that is Teriyaki Madness. We paid for our food at 7:05 pm on a Thursday. I normally never notice but we checked our receipt to see if it just felt longer than it was. We got our two bowls at 7:47 pm. The food is ok, but it's not worth the wait. It's not worth half the wait. I appreciate it's cooked to order but we won't be back. I hope they fix things but it's not like they just opened. I tried Teriyaki Madness based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. I hate eating vegetables, which is especially hard when traveling, so I try to incorporate them in to my meal. The rice and veggie portions were great. Tad disappointed on the protein portion. That being said the flavor was good and I'll be going back for more veggies. read more

Food is great, and I love eating here. The service tonight just was not it. It took over an hour to get 1 bowl, if you're going to take a long time to cook the food at least be friendly. We tried the new place out during their pre-opening on Wednesday and immediately decided it would be our new go-to-place! The chicken bowls with rice (brown or) white and steamed veggies were beyond yummy! Returned two days later to try additional menu items including orange chicken and steak bowls. Winner, winner once again! We were impressed with the service and cheerful attitudes of the associates taking orders and those in the kitchen who are visible to customers. The atmosphere was exciting being a new establishment and hopefully will stay that way down the road. Portion size is bang for your buck and quality of eats is superb. Good food, slow service. Been here twice and both times took over 30 minutes for chicken teriyaki bowls. Comparing it to the EA Teriyaki in the mall where the orders are also made to order where it takes about 5 minutes (in a smaller area with less staff) so it's hard to give them the benefit of the doubt. Read other reviews and you'll find this to be a common theme. Would come here so much more often if it was quicker. read more

The food is disgusting! Got 2 large bowls with teriyaki beef and spicy orange chicken. There was 6 small pieces of chicken in each LARGE bowl and it was not spicy. Some of the steak pieces were perfect and others were pure grizzle. Very unappetizing! The veggies were soft and mushy - not crunchy at all. Our order totaled $50 for 2 large bowls and crab Rangoon- which had the smallest amount of filling and was over fried. Overall I would give 0 stars! Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
