Since I started working remotely I was missing some good sushi and tempura and I am so glad I found this place. It's convenient to where I live, the staff were friendly, the service is excellent and the food is outstanding. It was so good that I ate it all before I had a chance to take pictures so I returned the following day for lunch. The first visit I got the 3-roll combo with the side salad, a pint of miso soup and spring rolls. The sushi is fresh and on-point and the spring rolls were fried perfectly and served with a side of duck sauce. The miso was as it should be and though the side salad was little more than greens with a few shreds of carrots it is a nice palate cleanser. Not sure I'd order it as a side but the miso was worth the cost. The following day I got another 3 roll combo and a shrimp tempura bento box. The shrimp and vegetables were fresh, tasty and nicely breaded. The gyoza, though small, were very tasty and it also comes with a generous portion of rice and some dipping sauce. They even made the California roll spicy for me on request, which was an extra nice touch. Though these were both takeout orders the inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. My friend and I went to the Teriyaki Box for some sushi, before going to see a show at a near by theater. Teriyaki Box has a huge menu of sushi, noodles, soups and more. We came for the sushi. You can order a regular roll, a special roll, or you can have it all, if you get the all you can eat menu. You must have at least two in your party to get access to the all you can eat menu. This is $35 per person. It was Sunday when we went it, it might be a bit less expensive during the week. We figured this might be the best value, as one roll of the special sushi is $15.99. You'll be given a menu that you can mark off all the items, that you would be interested in. Don't over do it! Our waiter said it is their policy to charge you an additional fee for any uneaten food. So we marked off two items, then two more. For some reason, we were the only ones dining here on this evening, which is typically a bad sign about the food. However, each of our sushi rolls was super fresh, flavorful and delicious! We also had a seaweed salad, this is my must get any time with sushi, and it didn't disappoint. The service of course was very fast, since we were the only ones here. The only thing that I was a bit underwhelmed by was the green tea ice cream. It came in a cute little glass cup, but the ice cream seemed to be freezer burned, it was very hard to get my spoon into it. Our meal came with an assortment of different nigiris. My favorite were the salmon and red clam. It was a HUGE serving and we couldn't finish it all. It was very generous and we enjoyed the California and dragon roll that came on the side! A lot of our nigiri pieces kept falling apart when picking it up, especially when trying to dip in soy sauce. I also thought the rice could have been cooked a bit more as it was a bit hard. Otherwise, it was a lovely meal with great quality fish! We loved that each fish was separated with a piece of lemon. It surprised me for all the right reasons. The food was fantastic. The kitchen items were all hot and fresh and were friendly apps to the main course. The dumpling soup was a surprise favorite, with some good broth and fresh dumplings. The sushi was as fresh as ever and was very tasty. Though I was disappointed the Chicken Tempura Roll wasn't on the AYCE menu, the Shrimp Tempura is still a decent substitute. The food was fresh for both me and my fiancé's meals, I never had tempura fried vegetables and I actually really enjoyed it. Everything was fresh and hot! My box also included miso soup which was really Good as well. They also packed everything very neatly in our take-out order along with plenty of sides of sauce which I really appreciate that because I like having options.
