Pork and beef. Chicken skewers
Tim V.

Great teriyaki! The beef and pork is great! Loved eating it. The chicken skewer is a bit dry. I've had better at sushi spots.

Found another tasty teriyaki place in the Lynnwood area, I ordered the Spicy Chicken & Beef Teriyaki w/Brown Rice; however it didn't come with brown rice when I arrived back at the office. Think the brown rice was a simple overlook. The food was very good in my opinion, chicken and beef were cooked very well; steak was not overdone. The spice level was decent, gave the meal a little kick but not over powered. I would recommend Teriyaki Plus if you're in the area. I'll definitely be back for some of the other dishes on their menu.

So happy we tried this place! Preasonably priced for great portions. Katsu from teriyaki places can be a gamble, but these folks did it right for sure. Salad ingredients were fresh, and we like that they served the sauces on the side. The service was also very kind and friendly. Definitely our new go-to!

Good price, good foods I usually can tell if a dish has lots of substitution and msg to make the foods taste good. This is one of the healthiest and closet to home cooking Teriyaki I have had. no extra taste boost ingridient or msg. Great customer serivce, owner always happy and welcome. make you feel relax after a long day. RECOMMENED!

It could be a long wait but honestly totally worth it! The owner is pretty chill and he even remembers every customer. Very nice atmosphere, cute deco for the food. Sadly they don't open on Sunday. Overall I give this 10/10 for the katsu!

The California roll- so good!

So they must have ironed out opening kinks because we had a better experience this time around. The katsu we ordered were all good. The rosu pork is my preferred cut, because it is a little fattier than the tenderloin. It was tender and crunchy outside. I loved the grated radish. One of us got the salmon katsu and she loved it. It was a thick slice, but it looked moist inside. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable with her suggestions. The food came out without much wait, even if they were about 80% full. The server was attentive, always asking us how our food was and refilling our ice waters. Love the space and tasty, simple decor of this restaurant. There's covered parking attached to the apartment complex above. This place is surely comparable to the other katsu places here in Seattle. I'm glad it's in our neighborhood.

It was light and fluffy and full of flavor. It came with a traditional cabbage salad which was very refreshing. The udon curry was right up my wife's alley, and I do like curry but I'm not the biggest udon noodle fan. It still was very full of flavor and delicious. Side note, the dressing or sauce that was in the table was let me say to die for. We put it on everything. If I had it on hand all the time it would probably be a condiment that I used on a very regular basis. The service was top notch and our server was very sweet and patient. We took awhile to look over the whole menu and there are so many things that I would come back for just to try. The only let down was the edamame as it is a staple that we usually order at any restaurant when available. They were very hot and cold and felt like it was a frozen edamame that was nuked in the microwave. The establishment itself was very modern looking with a very clean vibe. We will definitely be back. This is definitely a spot in lynnwood that needs more love from people. Then again, it could be packed all the time, but we were there very early on Mother's Day.

The noodles are tender, chewy and hold the broth to them very well. The broth is aromatic and herby, and looks very satisfying with the red chillies, green scallion and dark brown fried onions. The fatty broth is well-complemented by various add-ons like ginger, charsiu pork and soft-boiled gluey egg. Get an Asahi and that's an exquisite dinner right there. We came in the evening after day 2 of Geekfest and it was pretty busy inside. Luckily there was a spot open for two so we were seated and given menus. The inside is a bit dim, there were lots of tables with chairs or booth seats throughout, and there was even bar seating as well. My boyfriend ordered tonkotsu ramen and crunchy salmon roll as well as takoyaki to share while I got their red volcano tonkotsu and a Thai iced tea. I noticed there was a Japanese customer who spoke with one of the waitresses and she spoke Japanese back and it was cool to see and hear that! I wonder if the owners are Japanese as well as it's rare to find actual Japanese owned restaurants. The service here was friendly, courteous and they did check in every so often. The choice of music playing was quiet cafe music which was interesting but it was so hard to hear. My Thai iced tea came first then the takoyaki. Afterwards, our ramen bowls came not too long after that and the sushi roll came in last. I am so happy to say that the takoyaki was the perfect ratio of batter, octopus, and sauces on top. The ramen broth was hearty and smooth. I loved how spicy my red volcano tonkotsu was especially because I love things extremely spicy and it was definitely a fantastic ramen for spicy lovers. My boyfriend said he was very happy with his roll and ramen. He usually doesn't order ramen too often especially on a hot day but he said he was happy he did as it was one of the better ones he's had. My Thai iced tea was the right amount of sweetness and the perfect thing to sip on while handling my spicy ramen. I definitely want to come back to try their other selections.

The kids loved the revolving belt and putting the plates into the slot for a prize! The server was also really kind and switched out a red ball prize for a blue one instead. I like that you can order the same nigiri, rolls, and more (like udon, fried foods, and other entrees) via touchscreen. They'll make it for you and send it zipping down on the top belt! I wish they had a portable screen, like the ordering iPad at Hai Di Lao where everyone can take a look through the screen. It was a bit difficult to order because I was on the outer end of the booth, but the kids were right next to the belt and the screen. Fish quality and everything was decent--not blow you away highest quality, but as expected for a revolving belt sushi restaurant that values quick turnaround. I'd definitely come back for a family night or alone, but not so much for a date. - should be noted that there was no line or no wait for me and my party. The knife work on the fish is replacement level and leads to bad cuts being served. The rolls that have mayo in it have way more mayo than is palettable. On my fourth and final visit I found a hair sticking out from one of my pieces of nigiri. I ordered a replacement and the next piece of nigiri that came out had something in the flesh that should have never been sent out, so I sent that back too and asked for my check immediately. The service is low-effort even for a revolving sushi place. Also the waiting area being outside only just feels disrespectful and detracts from the atmosphere/experience.

Yet, it's disappointing to say that we've been sourly disappointed the last 2-3 times we came here. Not sure if it's management change or something happened, but Nakagawa lost its magic with us. 1. The service has been terribly slow and just not inviting anymore. After ordering, we waited easily 35-40 min for the food. I know it takes time to meticulously prep rolls, but after 30 min of just sitting and waiting, you can't help but start feeling hangry. And this isn't just a one-time occurrence - this happened multiple times for us. 2. The bento box quality. I LOVE bento boxes - it was such a treat to dine on so many different Japanese options, like a sampler box of goodness. Ranging from nigiri to sushi, from tempura to the soup, bento boxes have a special place in my heart. Yet, I feel like Nakagawa's bento boxes have sadly missed that mark. The protein (chicken teriyaki/katsu) tastes old and oddly mushy, and the portions are quite small, just leaving me wanting more. Don't get me wrong - the fish is still good. Solid place for seafood, paired with a lengthy wait. But Nakagawa just lost its touch with us, and driving that 30-35 min trek is not worth it for us anymore.
